Great
The room was immaculate and the en-suite, which seemed to have just been renovated. Our only real concern was the extractor from the bathroom went into the bedroom. Therefore so did all the steam etc from the bathroom.

Would definitely recommend
We were greeted by Paul on arrival who showed us up to the room. The room overlooked the cricket ground it was light and airy and decorated nicely. Little comfort items in the bathroom such as toiletries were a nice touch. It’s a great location to walk to Peasholm Park or into town and would definitely recommend Paul and the Ainsley Court Guest House.

Despite being misled by Hotels.com into believing we had booked bed and breakfast, only to find it was room only. The owner Paul was absolutely brilliant. He keeps Ainsley Court spotlessly clean, well furnished and very comfortable. He provides a well appointed dining room so you can take food and eat it in there. Now we know Paul does not do breakfast ,we would definitely stay again

It was a lovely clean hotel we enjoyed our stay and it was covid safe when we sothe owner on the stair and cleaning rooms they had mask on we have been in 13 different hotels in Scarborough and this is the one we will return to and recommend thanks for a wonderful stay

Clean, comfortable and good location guest house.
Clean, comfortable and good location guest house. I would say more suited to couples, as I had a single room and the shower and toilet were separate to my room. A bit inconvenient if you're not used to this type of accommodation, or need to go to the toilet in the middle of the night. As the guest house didn't have it's own parking spaces, you need to pay for a permit and park across the road, but the cost didn't break the bank at £2 per day. Overall a good guest house, in a good location, within around a 10 minute walk to the main shopping centre and beach. I would stay here again, although would choose a double room to get an en suite.

Thank you for your feedback, Its always better to discuss your accommodation requiems with someone from the property so they have the opportunity to accommodate your specific requirements. The room is described as a basic single room and the room rates offered reflects the lack of en-suite facilitates, details regarding the toilet & shower arrangements are provided in the rooms description. These rooms are popular with guests looking for low cost accommodation, we do appreciate that this type of arrangement may not be suitable to all solo travellers and with that in mined we offer single occupancy room rates on our double en-suite rooms.

Owner was very polite and helpful room was really lovely over looking the cricket ground very good location 5 minutes to beach. 5 minutes to Peasholm park. Very comfortable stay.

Great view of cricket ground. Friendly host. 10 mins walk to town, 2 min walk to North Bay, 5 min walk to Peasholm Park & Open Air Theatre. Really big bed and has heated blankets. Overall really comfortable and relaxing stay.

As soon as we entered the premises we were made feel very welcome . Paul advised us on parking etc . The room and facilities were absolutely first class . This is one b&b that we will return too . Everything was clean and tidy . Nothing seemed to be any bother to paul . And he is very knowledgeable about everything that is going on in Scarborough. ***** establishment

This hotel is a bit of an oasis in an otherwise down-at-heel part of town. We didn't do much more than sleep there but we had a comfortable stay and the breakfast was good and good value.

Weekend stay
A good stay at Ainsley Court guest house. The room was clean and well equipped. Service at breakfast was excellent. Breakfast was good, everything you needed. Paul was good host and very helpful. Location is not bad , about a ten minute walk into town centre and five minutes to Peasone Park and open air theatre. Would stay there again and recommend it.
