“Very nice hotel”

If you happen to be visting the North Fork Correctional Center stay here! This hotel is only a few minutes from the prison! If not... then I would have to say that it's just a little pricey and would recommend staying in Elk City. The rooms are clean, the staff is very helpful, the breakfast is great. The location is right off the freeway and Dennys and a little store are right across the street.

The AmericInn Sayre is a very nice place to stay overall. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff are professional and friendly. The internet service provided, while wired-only, is fast and hassle-free. The TV's are older tube-type, but they have a lot of channels. There is a bar onsite, as well as a great breakfast offering. The entire place is very family friendly, with a very nice indoor pool area. The only drawbacks (hey, every place has some), is that you are literally in the middle of nowhere, and I liked that! The only business close to this hotel is the truck stop across the highway. Sayre, the town, is about a mile to the north, as this hotel is right on I-40. The only things this hotel needs is property-wide Wi-Fi, refrigerators and/or microwaves in the rooms, and some more comfortable chairs in the rooms. Other than that, and I will say that all of those things are minor, this is an absolutely great hotel to stay in, and at a much better price than staying in Elk City to the east a few miles. Drive on a few miles west on I-40, and you will find a very nice place to spend the night on your trip. (Or, stop in Sayre before you get there if you're traveling East!)
