This was our first time to Koh Lipe and we didn’t really know what area to book. We got really lucky with Bella Vista. It is near the walking street and entertainment area but also far enough so that it is peaceful and quiet. The location provides a great view. The staff was very friendly and worked hard to keep the property clean. I would love to stay here again

Terrible outdated rooms with great location
The rooms are dated with very little furniture in the room. It feels as if they rooms are half done. Dirty bathrooms. No water in the shower if other rooms are also taking shower, we were told. Sporadic hot water in the shower. Rooms ending with 07 and 08 will have to breath lots of smoke every mornginf because of the stuff they burn on the nearby field.

We got the room where we opened the balcony door and could see the sea and jump into the beach, run to the water! Room was amazing - new, modern and comfortable. The hotel sent a staff to pick our luggage up from the immigration and sent them to immigration when we left. Truly appreciated.

Nice service
Overall is a satisfying stay but the hotel air conditioning is very bad, not cool at all and the washroom is quiet hot inside. Very nice service for hotel staff, they come pick me up in the immigration and also help to send my luggage to the check in jetty when I check out . Is a quiet relax place. The hotel is also providing beach towel and toiletries, save my luggage space a lot . Oh ya! They also help me to decorate my room as this trip is my honeymoon

Great beach resort.
Bed was comfy, room is large, beach towel provided, near to beach. Breakfast could improve. Only problem was lots of mosquito and no hair dryer provided.

Good location but hotel has sewage problem
The staff is helpful and always wear their smile. However, the hotel condition itself needs maintenance. I think the hotel has serious sewage treatment problem as the toilet always stinks a lot. I saw that the hotel already used a plastic tape to cover the floor drain but the problem is still there. Although the condition of the hotel needs maintenance, the hotel has good location which is by the seashore and not that close to the walking street or the harbour so it's not that noisy.

Hotel needs maintainance
The hotel employees are helpful and gave you a good smile. Yet, the hotel itself needs maintainance. The toilet stinks and the shower water is constantly changing between hot and cold within every 40 seconds.

My stay in garden pavilion room was great because it is cover under the tree shade in the afternoon make it windy but not so hot. The restaurant breakfast was good with variety of food and I do have my dinner once in the hotel which also taste wonderful. The only hiccup is my room have a tiny frog and two small cockroaches jumping and running around. The air conditioner is leaking throughout the night which disturb my beauty sleep. Although I have informed the reception but nothing has been repaired until my check out date.

Out of expected close to beach hotel
It is very close to beach and there are plenty of beach chairs provided. With decent quality breakfast provided each day, and the cleanliness of the room, it is really worth the price. The room size is big enough for 2 persons, the king size bed is really comfortable. The only rant is that there were really too much flies at the restaurant, they might need to do something on it.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The stuff is super friendly, the room was super nice. We were staying beach front and woke up to a view from heaven every morning. Totally worth the price. I will be back for sure!

Good location but needs more in-room amenities
When we first arrived we were pleased that the resort looked modern and upmarket. Our hopes for the room itself were dashed when we got there - huge room, huge bed, but nothing else but a basic counter and desk chair - for 5star room rate. No safe, no fridge, no casual seating, no TV, no decoration at all! This is for the standard room and I understand that the bungalows may have a few more amenities. Nevertheless, the a/c was terrific, the room was immaculately cleaned every day and breakfast was excellent. the staff were really friendly and the location, right on the beach, couldn't be bettered.

Good hotel, best staff.
It was a long day for us (travelling from Malaysia to Koh Lipe). But the people at the reception are very welcoming. They are the best! The weekend that I stayed they were fully booked so during breakfast it were too crowded, and the food was finishing quickly. But still they maintained good service to the customers.

The hotel had a probelm and didnt had Hot water at all. They didnt told us that at the check in and i had to find out only after i got into the shower and than went the whole way back to the reception to find out whats going on. Also in the middle of the night a tree FELL and crashed into one of the villas. Luckly no one was in there. After that we left.. But the beach of the hotel is beautiful and location ia good. Also nice service.

Very very poor hotel. The hotel has got no hot water! Reason being is it is now low season, room price was cheaper and therefore they need to save electricity! Nonsense! No hot water in a raining cold season with such excuse? I think to close down the hotel in the low season can save even more money. It has not been stated in the hotels.com that there is no hot water during low season as well. Very poor WIFI connection. Will not come here again.

Nice Beach Front Location
Bella Vista is located on a good spot on Pattaya Beach. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to walking street. So you can visit Walking street very easily, but you're not having to deal with all of the traffic that it receives. I've seen some reviews of people complaining about the distance and I am thinking those complaining are those who need to walk. The hotel rooms are very big and the beds are comfortable. The only downfall is that the AC doesn't work great during the day time, but I'm thinking it may be due to how hot it got during our stay in early May. The breakfast in the morning is nice and you can get eggs cooked any way you would like as well as fruit and other great food. Some people complained of the flies which there are some, but all of the food is nicely covered and the setting is outside so it would be nearly impossible for the hotel to control that. The staff was pretty nice, but they are unable to help you book tours or ferry tickets so that will all need to be done on Walking Street. The beach there is gorgeous and I am already missing it. I am currently in Koh Samui and if I knew now what I did when I booked my trip I would have just stayed on the islands of Lipe and Lanta. So if you're planning your trip and you have Samui in mind then just skip the amount of time you would be there and put that time into staying in Lipe!

Purtroppo questa struttura non è fra i miei hotel consigliati. Vista la mole di ospiti , dovrebbero organizzarsi. La sera, prima di cena non c'è acqua (dicono in tutta l'isola), ma stanchi di lavarci con le bottiglie d'acqua, ci siamo trasferiti all'hotel a fianco che invece l'acqua la ha. Colazione basic. Nella camera di una mia amica un topo entrava ed usciva da un sifone non sigillato: soluzione ? Cambio camera in una camera dove il rubinetto non era fissato al lavandino. NON TORNEREI IN QUESTO HOTEL Né LO SUGGERIREI A NESSUNO

Vi hade bokat queen-size men fick ett rum med separata sänga första 3 nätterna. Riktigt dålig frukost. Telefonen till receptionen fungerade sällan. Vattnet stängdes av i 3 dagar. Överlag riktigt missnöjda, då vi dessutom betalade extra för att få de bästa rummen.

Hotellet ligger i bortre halvan av Pattaya, vilket gör att det är lugnt och tyst, dock tar det bara cirka 5-7 min att gå längs stranden till Walkingstreet. Rakt utanför hotellet är bottnen rätt stenig de första 10-15 metrarna men sedan är det otroligt fin och vit sand. Ännu lite längre ut börjar korallreven. Längs i princip hela Pattaya Beach ligger det gott om longtailbåtar i vattenbrynet, men utanför Bella Vista är det båtfritt (åtminstone när vi var där). Frukosten på hotellet är förhållandevis bra. Det finns både thailändsk och västerländsk mat att välja mellan. Stekt ägg, omelett och äggröra går att beställa i köket. Rummen är ganska ordinära. Det finns kyl och vattenkokare, men jag saknade en safetybox. Rummet städas inte om du inte hänger ut skylten. Sängarna är hårda men sköna. Hotellets Wi-Fi är ofta svårt att komma in på och när du kommit in är det otroligt segt. Undvik rum 501 om ni vill sova på morgnarna. Det ligger vägg i vägg med köket där de börjar slamra väldigt tidigt!!

11 Nächte im Bella Vista
Wir waren 11 Nächte im Bella Vista. Das Zimmer (Beachfront) war sauber und das Bett schön gross. Leider muss ich bei der Freundlichkeit ein grosses Minus machen. Noch nie so unfreundliches Personal in Thailand erlebt! War nun das 4te mal in Thailand, aber das war nicht schön. Das Personal machte sich über eine "dickere" Urlauberin lustig. Toilettenpapier wurde nicht aufgefüllt, erst nach der 3.ten Beschwerde wurde reagiert. Wenn man Getränke bei der Bar kaufen wollte, wurde man genervt angeschaut, alle sassen in einer Ecke und drückten am Handy herum. Die Kaffemaschine beim Frühstück war defekt und somit gab es nur löslichen Kaffee. Der Strand ist wunderschön und es hat genügend Liegen. Am Abend kann es mal lauter werden, da von der Nachbarschaft oft ein Dj auflegt oder sonst einfach Musik läuft. Wir hatten ubs aber schnell daran gewöhnt. Einen Minus Punkt gibt es noch für die Dusche. Es fab nur kaltes bis lauwarmes Wasser. Teilweise gar kein fliessendes Wasser oder dann sehr wenig. Wird Problematisch bei langen Haaren. Trotz allen würden wir wieder gehen, weil das Meer unglaublich schön ist und vor dem Bella Vista keine Abschrankung hat und nur jeweils 1 Taxi-Boot davor steht. Preis Leistung passt. Personal müsste mal motiviert werden ;)
