“Overpriced”

Big hotel has seen better days... especially room furniture which is old, outdated and mis-matched. The bed was hard and uncomfortable and the bedspread looked and felt grungy. Breakfast was good but nothing spectacular.

“Comfort and wellbeing is their main concern”

The Maksoud Plaza Hotel is one of the finest in Sao Paulo and deserves a better star rating. Room rates are very reasonable when you consider the location of the hotel and the range of dinning will suite the most frugal and extravigant of diners. The hotel limosine services are also very reasonable and the drivers very knowledgeable about the city. Lots of dining, shopping and entertainment available in the area. If you decide to stay here you can be very confibent of having an enjoyable holiday or business trip and returning home relaxed and content. I have no problem in recomending this hotel and returning on any future visits to Sao Paulo.

Area recommendations

You cant go far wrong if you stay around Ibaraquara Park, Itaim, Jardin Paulista. Lots of Dining, Entertinment and shopping as well as Cultural atractions.

“Good Location - Timewarp Hotel”

A very dated hotel - looks like it was built in the 70s and the rooms haven't been upgraded since then. Clean enough, but stains on the carpets etc. When I got to the room neither the Wi-fi not the internet was working - had to change rooms to get an internet connection. Asked for an iron ironing board - was told that they do not provide these for "guest security" even though the hairdryer is positioned over the bathroom sink with a warning sign about dropping it into the water ;-) On the plus side, there is a big gym - again with equipment from the 70s - but all working.

Area recommendations

Jardins - very safe and centrally located with good shops and restaurants. Close to Metro stations.

“In need of upgrage”

Hotel room was in serious need of upgrade. The room was quite clean. The bed was not comfortable, I awoke each morning with back pain.

“Schöne Lage, nette Atmosphere”

Hotel aus dem 70 Jahren. Keine Renovierungen seitdem... Schade. Rezeptionpersonal bocklos. Der beste Service war von der Valletparking und Portiers.
