High prices, Low standards
The service is terrible. Everything is extremely slow with no enthusiasm. However they include hefty service charge into prices, without delivery the corresponding level of service. I would not recommend to stay there.

Hotel room not ready for customers. Toilet and sink not working. Asked to fixed but the problem continue. Food mostly the same, same protein again and again- mostly chicken and pork.

All and all, the hotel is not bad. It's just average, the food was meh, the pool was kind of dirty. I had no hot water for my entire stay and no water at all at one point. They offered me a free alacarte brakfast witha sea view but it wasnt free, before even having any coffe of water , they wanted me to sit down a listed to a insanely aggressive vacation club sales pitch. I don't think I'm ever going back to a belive hotel

It was an average experience, I like it they try to theme up the buffet menus, but the food was kind of tasteless. I was offered a free a la carte breakfast, apparently included in the reservation, but it also came with me most aggresive sales pitch i've seen.

The property was run down. Everything was old and damaged. The bathroom had no door and the ceiling fan was covered with dust. There was limited food that was terrible. Lunch and dinner were the same food. The snack bar by the beach only served rice, beans, hot dogs and burgers. The male staff was always asking women for their phone number and the employees running the activities were always trying to get you to buy things. Very uncomfortable stay ended up leaving early

The beach is beautiful. People are nice. The already old hotel has been poorly maintained. No hot water available for a couple of days. This place needs renovation.

This is my 5th stay at Hamaca, my last one was over 9 years ago. I went exclusively to accompany my father for his birthday, because absolutely he loves the hot jacuzzi in the garden pool. But expecting that to be working is too much to ask. I could not believe how neglected this place was. They are shutting down the garden side during the week, but if the pool remains open, they should also get the jacuzzi running. The food choices and service were good. Entertainment was good, but it had declined sharply since my last visit. Check in was slow, but any issues after that were rapidly resolved by the front desk. I have been to over a dozen resorts, including Hamaca, but I never had a staff asking for money 💵. I spent the only night fully awake because of a horrible smell in the mattress by the glass door in room 017. I swear something died on that mattress. I am not planning on returning to resort.

The staff truly try very hard to accommodate the client however the condition of the hotel is very poor including the food is very poor quality. I loved the beach is one of the best experiences very kids friendly. It is unfortunate the maintain of the hotel is not care.

The resorts amenities are pretty cool. Staff is mostly friendly. Though definitely a get what you pay for situation. Booked a King Room and upon entering noticed a puddle in the middle of the entryway. We made them aware the air conditioner was leaking, but they only gave us the run around. We weren’t switched to another room until nearly midnight. Please INSPECT your room thoroughly upon arrival and make sure everything is working (ac, shower, etc)

Unfortunately my experience was not as pleasant as we planned, the hotel staff could be said to have been excellent. The facilities urgently need to be restored, the areas are extremely unpleasant, dirty, broken, spacious but outdated rooms with bad smell and so much humidity that my partner fell ill. Out of 6 restaurants only one open, food completely tasteless and both of us got sick, we decided to eat at adjoining Pelicano and Neptuno restaurants, quite expensive by the way, so the cost of the all-inclusive tripled. Excellent location, excellent private beach. With the updates I would come back again.

Horrible. Es un engaño las fotos que promocionan y nada mas lejos de la realidad. La piscina no estaba disponible y la que habia estaba sucia. Reserve una habitación que en nada fue lo que me entregaron. La mayoría del personal groceso y mal educado. Mis peores vacaciones en la RD, que es mi lugar preferido. Decepcionante.

there are a lot of things that needs to be restored
the hotel used to be very nice and clean and everything was in place, now it seems to be abandoned, concerning the restaurant,it was very good and the workers very friendly and their service was good. the hotel needs to be restored and in better condition as it was before couples of years back.
