The room was clean and the pizza chef make some good pizza.On the reservation it said water bottle include ,but in there only 2 tiny bottles a day .Really not what expected.

Perfect for me. Large rooms with private bathrooms, a pool and a good reasonable priced restaurant, beautiful plants, trees, flowers-true El Eden, Tainos statues, and a short-15 min walk to Dominicus public beach- everything I wanted and more. Because of the very reasonable price of the lodging it didn’t bother me that they didn’t have a light in front of my door, or that the building was old and squiquing something when walking inside- it had air conditioner and a vent. Overall- I LOVED it!

It was terrible nothing worked. The shower didn’t work at all, the air conditioning didn’t work it wouldn’t go lower than 23. They didn’t provide anything to do the guest not even water or soap in the rooms and then when I complained about my room especially the shower because I at least needed this more than anything nothing was done. I asked for a different room and I was told I couldn’t get it. So I ended up staying one night and checking out early losing 2 days. I paid for another hotel which ended up being so much better but I did lose the money I spent on this hotel. I want my money back.

Service is the best at this place. However the room is in pretty bad conditions, shower doesn't work properly, clogged sink, and bed sheets smell bad

Thanks for you feedbacks. we usually do a review of the rooms before the arrival of the client, the shower has two places for the water outlet, you had it in the jet, for the sheets we apologize apparently does not leave the smell again try to do what possible for the taste of customers but we are glad you liked our services

It’s was what I needed
Located in a developing tourist area. A little over a hour from PUJ Airport. Staff friendly but not multilingual. Not a real Restaurant. Grounds are spacious, kept & being upgraded. You get what you pay for & great place for families & alone time.

Good for a short stay. Breakfast could be better, maybe a more dominican breakfast option or more variety. Air conditioning was not working but not needed because it was not too hot. Is a small nice hotel if you are looking to a peaceful stay. Not much to do in the little town.

For the price you pay is an excellent hotel
Nice hotel with all neccessary, nice room, nice pool and good breakfast. Hotel staff is very kind. It is not next to the beach but not so far.

I would describe Hotel El Eden as "just fine." It was a bit of an odd experience, as we only saw one other set of guests the entire time we were there. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful; their English was good enough, and they took care of everything promptly. Kitchen staff spoke only Spanish, which was a bit of surprise given that the listing says the staff is multi-lingual, but language barriers are to be expected when traveling, and we were ultimately able to order without issue. Food was very good, especially the chicken fajitas. Room was a good size, but there were a few broken or dirty objects. Overall it was fine though, and I didn't mind sleeping there. WiFi was okay, not good or great, but did work in our room and we were able to look at the few things we needed. The beach itself is only a few minutes walk away, if you can convince one of the resort security guards to let you through. If you can't, the public beach is quite a ways more, probably about a 10-minute walk. There are a number of shops and restaurants along the walk. Would not recommend walking it at night.

We stayed in this hotel in July 2017 and it was clean and the stuff was helpful and nice. The hotel is well located in a small town dominicus. But be aware the hotel recommends a car/bike rental company called Excursiones (Johnny /Mina) the first impression was nice but unfortunately at the end really terrible. They tried to screw us and wanted us to pay for scratches on a bike we rented. They literally accused us of having a accident (which we didn't) and wanted money for a demage we didn't do. We refused to pay so they called the police (all in front of the hotel) nobody spoke english and we didn't speak Spanish. Luckily we had a friend who was able to translate and clear us in front of the police - we were lucky. But it really left a scary feeling about the service, people and town at the end on our last night. Because of this incident we won't come back to Dominicus... Though the hotel and crew was nice. If you rent any vehicle make sure the person marks all scratches, issues on the rental sheet so you have proof. Be aware the rental prices of Excursiones are higher than from other companies (there are several in Dominicus). A much nicer service is right opposite of the hotel to the left, boss is called Mario - i recommend! Luckily we met many very nice, helpful Dominican people on our vacation so this incident didn't not destroy the overall option of the country. This sketchy people, services destroy tourism at the end as it leaves a bad impression!

sorry for your inconvenients,but we want you to know that we just call somebody for you to rent a scooter, negotiation and others thinks is up to you, as you said they are many rents car in Dominicus, you just have to choose one, really we give you our apologies, and you dont have to decide no come back to Dominicus for this, it have many good thing and good people. thanks for you feedback.

Friendly and pleasant reception staff, restaurant and bar area clean and friendly, food was excellent, sandwiches, hamburgers, pizza. Clean and well kept room. Prices for room and for food and beverages were affordable. Clean pool and well maintained grounds...Would recommend to friends and for another stay myself.

Decent place, OK value.
Hotel, restaurant is cash only! We had to drive to Romana (40 minutes away) to get money. The hotel is reasonably close to the beach, there are a handful of Italian restaurants and other amenities (i.e. Pharmacy) within walking distance.

Thank you for your comment. We specify that only the bar with the restaurant does not have credit card service. Payment at the hotel can be done by credit card. In the area we have two banks within walking distance from the hotel.

Sehr harte Matratzen, kein Aufzug für Gepäck. Einfache Unterkunft aber sauber. Das gebuchte Frühstück für 2 Personen bestand aus 1 Tasse Kaffee oder Schokolade und 1 Croissant pro Person mit wenig geschnittenem Obst. Lecker aber sehr wenig. Personal an der Rezeption sehr freundlich, im Restaurant leider eher nicht. Für 1-2 Nächte ok.

Pool gesperrt, angeblich Reinigungsarbeiten, sah aber eher nach Langzeitprojekt aus. Aus unserem Zimmer musste ich erst am ein großes Kriechtier entfernen. Natürlich alles relativ günstig, aber trotzdem nicht adäquat. Garten schön gepflegt. Klimaanlage lief bei Anreise nicht, so dass das Zimmer erstmal brütend heiß war.

Wir entschuldigen uns für die entstandenen Unannehmlichkeiten, der Pool wird gerade gewartet, um Ihnen einen besseren Service zu bieten, und wir haben die Luft im Raum überprüft und sie funktioniert einwandfrei, nur die Luftsteuerung war nicht so programmiert, wie sie sein sollte, anscheinend, wenn das Mädchen hat es berührt, sie muss es deprogrammiert haben. Als wir sahen, dass es sehr aktiv war, da es beim Auschecken den Bürobereich betrat. Grüße und Danke für den Kommentar

El hotel tiene muy buena ubicación, cerca de todo lo que puedas necesitar. Elizabeth muy simpática en todo y con mucha disposición para que te sientas bien. La habitación tiene lo básico para una noche, la limpieza no tan buena, cama cómoda y neverita con botellas de agua. La piscina algo turbia y difícilmente encuentras parqueo del hotel. El desayuno es bueno....algo como sandwich de jamón y queso, café, jugo y plato de fruta.

Die Unterkunft ist sauber und gepflegt,das Personal sehr freundlich,die Ausstattung zwar etwas spartanisch - allerdings völlig ausreichend für Individualtouristen,sozusagen eine Unterkunft für den schmalen Geldbeutel,ohne Luxusgedöns. Hervorragend geeignet für Gäste,welche den ganzen Tag unterwegs sind.Das Frühstück ist inklusive und gut.Das integrierte, öffentliche Restaurant ist preiswert und die Cocktails sind sehr lecker.Auch hier ist das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Sejour agréable, chambre spacieuse, mais avec quelques déceptions. Climatisation qui ne fonctionnait pas, personnels du soir pas toujours agréable, les femmes de ménages rentraient plusieurs fois par jours dans notre chambre.

There is all you need in this hotel but not more. You can get to the center of Bayahibe and to the city La Romana in some minutes. It is worth visiting the cigar factory and making a trip to the cave "Cueva del Puente" in the national park.

It's ok for one night. There is nice pool but air conditiondoesn't work well in the room 307.So we could not sleep well.

Hotel precisa de reforma
O hotel precisa de reforma, com torneiras enferrujadas e banheiro muito antigo, portas ainda com chaves, precisa passar por uma modernização! O wifi eh péssimo, pois ele não eh do hotel inteiro, eh apenas da piscina, então para funcionar vc tem que ficar próximo ha piscina, não tinha frigobar no quarto, o chuveiro também eh muito ruim, a água cai quase encostada na parede dificultando o banho. Ponto positivo eh o restaurante do hotel que eh excelente, mas não eh muito barato e cobram 10% (os outros restaurantes nao cobram) e os funcionários (restaurante e hotel) são excelentes, apenas estes dois itens compensam a estadia.
Desculpe, mas você não aproveitar o máximo a sua estadia ; Tentamos resolver o problema identificado. Obrigado pela sua opinião

Muy muy complacidos
Excelente. Un lugar muy bonito para relajarse en el hotel, bonita área de piscina,el restaurante del hotel es muy bueno y no es nada caro, el personal es muy agradable. Una cosa particular que aprecié mucho fue que al comprar una botella de vino Lara llevarnosla a la playa nos ofrecieron copas de vino plásticas para llevar muy chulas y nos prestaron un porta botellas para mantener el vino frío.fue un detalle muy agradable sin nosotros haber pedido nada. :)
