The staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and inviting, easy walking to downtown and area restaurants. The room was comfortable, clean and roomy. The breakfast available to all guests was very nice.

Great boutique hotel in Bariloche

Good option in the city center.
Good hotel in the center. The problem could be the parking. There are no space for all cars. One night I left the car on the street.

Comfortable stay
The hotel is at great location. It is in walking distance to city square and all good restaurants. Two supermarkets are with two blocks. The staffs speak fluent English and are very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Coffee and tea are free are lobby.

Central location. Took a while to solve problem with security safe inside room. I was told that I must have entered a wrong password & that maintenance couldn’t see me till the next day. Eventually maintenance man discovered that the instructions were for a previous box that had since changed.

Stay away.
We checked in around 1am and the guy at reception was not happy about it though we only had to sleep for few hours. He was very unwelcoming and was very rude when i wanted to stay outside door for a smoke (it was a place to smoke). We booked twin bed rooms and the bed were really really small. I mean an average guy like me even would find it hard to change sides. The breakfast was average. Wont even call it a full breakfast as thr wasnt much. Overall look for other options.

Rooms are stastifactory. Staff is attentive. Watch the elevator. I got stuck on the third floor for 15 minutes. It was dark, hot and very confined (3ft. X 3ft.). Eventually they got the door open a crack so I breath a bit better.

A front desk attendant was curt and spoke no English, lying about the Internet which just needed to be reset which was done by his replacement, who was exceptional.

The hotel was in a good location - two blocks from the main square - but the rooms are old, tired and quite Spartan. We would not return.

Comfortable night before flying home
We stayed only one night, just before flying home from Argentina. Everything in the hotel was nice and comfortable, only the bathroom was a bit small (I really doubt that a tall person could sit on the toilet in ours). Also, breakfast was almost only sweet stuff, but that seems to be the custom in Patagonia.

We initially stayed at the Carlos V primarily due to its great location but all other aspects did not disappoint. It is close to Club Andino for hiking info and their morning bus to trailheads and handy to city buses only 1 block away. Staff were very helpful.

Comfortable and great location
Despite a smallish room and small bathroom both were more than adequate and the hotel was in a great location with easy 5 minute walking to everything including several great restaurants. Staff were helpful and the dining room and breakfast were very good. We would stay there again.

The good, the bad, and the REALLY UGLY
No air conditioner. The room was hot and noise. I had to open the windows to breath, the fumes from diesel buses penetrated the room. I could not sleep at all.

Ótima relação custo benefício!! Hotel bem localizado, com boas acomodações. Ótimo nível de higiene. Espaço pequeno para café da manhã, com poucas mesas para 3 ou mais pessoas, mas algo contornável no dia a dia.

Ótima opção em Bariloche
Gostei muito das acomodações do Hotel. Ele é bem localizado, a equipe é muito prestativa, e o ponto alto foi o café da manhã. Tudo muito gostoso! Certamente voltarei a me hospedar.

Bom custo x benefício.
Hotel com bom custo x benefício. A equipe de limpeza dos quartos é bem eficiente, mas fica muito a desejar o atendimento da recepção (com exceção do recepcionista da manhã), mas nos pareceu que este quesito já é algo deficiente e característico em toda a Argentina, difícil de encontrar pessoas que são agradáveis e prestativas.

Ótima experiência!!! Excelente localização... Atendimento do Gustavo foi muito bom. Toda a infraestrutura do hotel e ótima... mesmo com muito frio do lado de fora, dentro do hotel a temperatura é perfeita. Café da manhã simples, mas com o suficiente para começar o dia.

Excelente hotel
Ficamos oito noites no hotel. Excelente hotel. O quarto é aconchegante e silencioso. Tem frigobar para facilitar. O chuveiro é excelente a temperatura da água. O café da manhã é simples, mas tem o que realmente necessitamos, consideremos bom. A internet é muito boa tanto no quarto quanto na recepção. Os funcionário são muito atenciosos e prontos para dar as dicas que pedimos. Tem uma agência de passeio também para ajudar. A localização é muito boa, fica a uma curta distância de caminhada da principal rua de Bariloche, a Mitre.

Perfect fit in terms of cost and benefits
Very well located in the main central area of Bariloche. Lots of restaurants nearby. Comfortable room/ beds even if there’s no luxury. My only tip is to install some hooks close to the door to facilitate guests to hang their heavy weather clothes while entering the room. No places to hang clothes at all
