In the green Ardèche, a change of scenery and relaxation in the heart of unspoiled nature: property located within the perimeter classified ENS (Sensitive Natural Area), part of LPO (League for the Protection of Birds) refuges, with interpretation trail.
Bernard and Michelle welcome you to their old 17th century farm, a 40 hectare estate bordered by two rivers and surrounded by hills.
For baby: travel cot and accessories available (changing table with bath, high chair, inflatable pool).
Very many activities in the area: hiking (including GR42), cycling (including Viarhôna), mountain biking, Vélorail, horse riding centers, swimming pools (including municipal), Mastrou (little Vivarais train), Valrhona (Cité du Chocolat), Peaugres animal park, museums (including the Alembic), basilica and Saint Régis museum, balloon flights, local products (especially regional wines, including organic), etc.

Charming dip into a very traditional rustic farmhouse
Bernard and his wonderful wife gave us such a warm welcome into their thick-walled and fascinating old farmhouse. The house sits at the end of a long lane into a magical forrest. The accommodation comprises a lovely upstairs bedroom, a kitchen/bedroom/living room where our hosts had lived for decades and a separate bathroom/utility room on the other side of the small courtyard. One can eat either outside or in a separate room off the courtyard. A walker’s paradise in a home steeped in history set in the most glorious countryside.

An unforgettable holiday location
This ancient stone house is a collection of four spacious rooms ranged around a garden courtyard, that has a tree and small tea table, an awning sheltering a table seating eight for eating alfresco. There is a beautiful, large bedroom with antique furnishings up a set of stone steps, a comfortable bathroom with shower, a large dining room with views across the wooded valley and a bedroom sleeping two or four, divisible from a cheery kitchen with farmyard table. Bernard and his wife, Michelle were very hospitable, kind and welcoming. They showed us everything, offered every help, offered us fresh, organic herbs and also left us the freedom to come and go as we liked, with complete privacy. The rooms are comfortable, with a sense of style and total cleanliness. Each room had a country freshness and the sheets were the best quality, even ironed. The kitchen was simple and functional. There is a remarkable if sometimes steep walk to the valley floor and 13th century chapel, where one can dip with the deep river to cool off. The entire property is on a steep promontory, surround by woods and the river. I highly recommend it.

Le Domaine du Regard - Un havre de paix sans pareil On entre dans un bastide du XVI siècle par un grand portail en bois et on se sent immédiatement dépaysé, mais tout à fait à l'aise. On est donnés la bienvenue par nos hôtes, Bernard et Michelle si cordialement que notre long voyage est oublié. Des cadeaux ( de la confiture et du jus de pomme exquis nous attendent). Beaucoup de chaleur, de convivialité et d'hospitalité émanent de nos hôtes tout au long de notre séjour. Le gîte dans le domaine est moderne, fonctionnel, très propre et aménagé avec goût et amour. Il y a plein d' espace à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur où nous bénéfions pleinement du chant de la nature. Nous nous sentons très bien dans cet oasis de silence et de beauté où il ne règne que la détente et la beauté naturelles. Les propriétaires sont cordiaux, discrets et toujours à nos écoutes. Ils anticipent sur tout ce dont nous avons besoins. Quels moments de joie, de bien-être, de convivialité et d'échanges profonds nous avons passé en leur présence sans nos apercevoir du temps écoulé ! Nous leur sommes très reconnaissants pour ces moments de partage d’une intensité exceptionnelle. On ne va jamais oublier ces journées et soirées passées ensemble remplies de discussions et de rires en commun, arrosés d'un délicieux verre de vin comme dans des bons films d'autrefois, c'est grâce aux personnalités de Michelle et Bernard. Pour les années à venir, le Domaine du Regard sera notre gîte de préférence au moins deu

Excellent séjour en famille
Un séjour ressourçant d'une semaine avec mes 4 filles âgées de 10 à 16 ans, en pleine nature et au calme. Nous avons adoré la proximité avec Michelle et Bernard, toujours disponibles et à l'écoute afin de nous renseigner au mieux sur les activités-nombreuses- les plus adaptées à faire. Des jeux sont en libre accès, impossible de s'ennuyer. L'accueil chaleureux, si précieux, de Bernard et Michelle qui ont à cœur de faire découvrir leur patrimoine restera dans nos mémoires. Un grand merci pour ces moments de partage!

Super séjour
Fantastique ! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour avec un accueil chaleureux ! La maison centenaire est située autour d'un bel endroit, un peu isolé. Il est utile de faire des provisions à l'avance. Les grands supermarchés se trouvent à environ une demi-heure de route. La vieille maison a une atmosphère merveilleuse qui est rehaussée par un vrai portail d'entrée. Il y a beaucoup d'espace et trois endroits agréables pour s'asseoir, il n'est donc pas nécessaire de s'asseoir en plein soleil. Nos hôtes étaient prêts à nous aider en nous donnant des conseils sur la région et des jeux pour les enfants. Il y a de belles randonnées à faire à partir de la maison. (via Rando Ardèche Hermitage). Le train d'Ardèche est fortement recommandé. Choisissez la plus longue distance ; 1.45 heures aller simple à travers un environnement magnifique). Vous pouvez vous baigner au camping du village de Saint Victor). La ville de Boucieu-le-Roi et la ville de Valence valent la peine d'être visitées. Les hôtes disposent d'un épais dossier contenant toutes sortes de conseils pour la journée et se feront un plaisir de vous en dire plus à ce sujet. Le calme des environs et la belle nature nous ont fait du bien ! Super hospitalité, merci Bernard et Michelle ! Chaleureuses salutations de notre part.

superbe séjour dans l'Ardèche sauvage
Un très joli coin d'Ardèche pour passer du temps de qualité en famille ou entre amis. Les propriétaires sont charmants et de bon conseil pour des activités dans le coin. La proximité avec Tain l'Hermitage et Tournon permet de profiter du chocolat, du petit train de l'Ardèche, et le côté "isolé" permet de profiter des cours d'eau et de balades dans la nature. C'est un logement atypique, et qui nous a vraiment bien convenu: fraicheur de l'espace de nuit pour l'été, l'espace extérieur pour les repas et laisser les enfants jouer en sécurité, salle de bain (déconnectée de l'espace de nuit, mais cela ne nous a posé aucun problème) et petit espace clos pour les soirées plus fraiches. L'impression d'arriver "au bout du monde" sur cette belle propriété, avec toute son histoire et avec une vue magnifique!

Sejour pittoresque et rustique
Nous avons été très bien accueillis par les propriétaires, mais en visitant l'hébergement qui est très rustique !! et qui ne comporte qu'une seule pièce (chambre séparée par un rideau) nous avons découvert que la salle de bain ne se trouvait pas à l'intérieur, mais dans une ancienne porcherie à l'extérieur de notre logement, ce qui n'est pas mentionné dans l'annonce !! il a fait très beau, heureusement !! Endroit très calme

Superbe séjour au vert
Le gîte situé en pleine nature est superbe pour se ressourcer "au vert" en famille et proche sites touristiques d'Ardèche. Un grand merci à Michelle et Bernard pour leur accueil, leurs conseils et leur gentillesse.
