We stayed on the Pichu wing. Everything was ok. You have to buy your own toilet paper, trash bags ect, which I felt was strange. The kitchen was fully equipped and had a toaster, stove top and microwave. We did cook a full meal one night for fun. The on-site restaurants are not worth it. Go try the other places, and if you take the free shuttle you can go a bit further down the mountain for more choices. To address the bathroom door I read so much about. It does close, you have to lock it, it was not roomy but my 6’2” son fit just fine. It can be loud, we used a white noise app to drown out the drunken adults smoking in the “hallways”, which are exposed areas. Over all worth the price and with ski-ski out and free ski locker. To anyone going for the first time the magic carpet behind the hotel is free, big tube that takes you up the mountain, fast way to go up to the top if you want to play in the snowy areas at the top called place Caron. Also there is a bakery/delicatessen you can grab breakfast in called Sucre Sale that was affordable and delicious.

Great location ski in ski out. Lovely view of the mountains. Check in/out was easy. Rooms had everything we needed. Sauna & Stream room were fab although it’s not included 10 euros each per visit. Would be happy to stay here again.

Rude receptionist
Arrived in the morning after driving for 9 hours through the night. Was denied an early check-in, was told to come back at 5pm. Mentioned that on our confirmation email check-in was at 2pm then 2pm it is. Wanted to pay cash for the €200 guarantee but was told that it is prohibited by law, perplexed we used the credit card but was cautious when she wrote down our card details instead of scanning it. Called card company to make a note, better safe than sorry.

Really enjoyed our stay.
We were a group of 2 families consisting of 2 adults and 2 children. We were given rooms next to each other on level 2 which was perfect. No need to get in the lifts in the morning to get to the slopes. The room had everything we needed and had much more space than I thought we would get. The beds and sofa bed was comfortable as were the pillow. We never used any of the facilities on site so can't comment on those but thought the location for us was great having a children in ski school in the morning. Ski in ski out was brilliant. And the kids could get onto the snow to sledge from the balcony. It was quiet to which may be as it was school holidays so more families. There was a nasty smell in the corridor but only in one area and we only smelt it when either going to the lifts or exit. We would definately stay again.

Great ski accom
Hotel was a bit tatty as with all places I have been in the Alps! But was comfortable enough and was on the slopes so no walking needed. Easy to get to ski school too!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
proved to be much better than first impression - plenty of storage space and very clean - a bit noisy at night (take some earplugs)and could do with a chair as well as the sofa in the sitting area. Otherwise perfectly adequate for a short break or someone on a budget. Staff very pleasant and helpful, supermarket and ski hire in the building and ski in and out!!!

Basic but does the job
Good, basic hotel. We stayed on floor 3, next to the ski lockers and a short flight of steps down to the slopes. The name is VERY confusing, we were looking for the Machu pichu, but the sign says soleil! Not what you want after getting up at 3 am on Boxing Day!
