We booked this property late afternoon having been delayed in Italy. Arrived around 9pm to a very warm welcome indeed. Having stayed in the French Alps on an earlier cycling holiday, I'd definitely recommend this hotel as a base to cycle some of the historic Cols.

Enjoyable stay in Saint Jean Maurienne
I was on a self supported cycle tour of the Alpes and have stayed at this hotel previously. There is a dedicated secure bike/velo room just a short distance from the hotel. The host and hostess are very welcoming and the rooms are well equipped. It was extremely hot (heat wave) in France during my stay and while my room had a balcony, there was no AC and the room did get warm, but otherwise it was well equipped. A good breakfast is available in the in house restaurant and lunch and dinners are also available. I would stay at this hotel again.

j ai étais tres bien accueilli par le chef en personne..1 établissement typique savoyard ce que je rechercher. Super.. dans un superbe village accueillant, comme les habitants et commerçants souriants aimables,c est pas le cas dans toute la Savoie!!!!

Très bon endroit
Même si l'hôtel est simple il est parfait, la chambre et la salle de bain étaient agréable, le petit déjeuner est très bien sauf les croissants qui sont secs et le jus d'orange qui n'est pas à disposition même si l'on peut en redemander. Je n'ai pas mangé au restaurant car il est un peu haut de gamme côté tarif.

Hotel qui vit sur ses rentes. La chambre est correcte, mais la sdb est vieillotte. Impossible de régler le chauffage de la chambre - un convecteur grille-pain hors d'âge- résultat une fin de soirée où j'ai dû conserver mon manteau ! Sinon, le resto est bon, mais extrêmement cher (on ne peut pas diner à moins de 40 euros)et pas très généreux sur les quantités. Bref, rapport qualité/prix pas génial.

Les chambres de l'hôtel ont été rénovées en 2018, mais effectivement le projet de rénovation des salles de bain a été stoppé net par la période de fermeture causée par le covid. Nous espérons pouvoir rapidement relancer des travaux pour améliorer cet aspect viellot.Le chauffage est en effet réglé depuis la réception, et lors d'un prochain séjour n'hésitez pas à nous demander un réglage correspondant à votre attente.En ce qui concerne le restaurant, le titre de maitre restaurateur implique une cuisine à base de produits frais et nous subissons l'inflation, mais nous avons à coeur de maintenir la qualité.Nous sommes désolé que votre séjour ne ce soit pas bien passé et espérons vous recevoir lors d'un prochain passage. Bien cordialement

Die Zimmer waren schlicht und sauber - ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Der Knaller ist das Abendessen im Hotel eigenen Restaurant - es besteht Sterne-Verdacht. Hervorragend!!!
