Very Good overnight stay near Ambois
Convenient location to all of the Castles around Ambois and Blois. Hotel room was small but clean. The room would be fine for a 1 to 2 nights stay. Owners were very attentive and helpful. Definitely service oriented. Parking was plentiful as it was the low season and the parking spot was not tight, properly spaced for a regular 4 door sedan vehicle. I would recommend this place if you are visiting the Castles in this region of the Loire Valley.

Brilliant Blois
Stayed here for a long weekend to visit Cheverny and Blois Chateau's. The hotel looks a little dated but the owner and family were very hospitable and friendly, their professionalism and helpfulness were brilliant. The rooms were small, but the bed and shower were incredible - the comfortable bed was excellent, and the hot, powerful shower was better than several at high price new hotels. Also, there was very little noise, and an excellent wi-fi signal. (need to sign in everyday though). My partner was able to borrow a new hairdryer from reception and we used the microwave in the reception area on a few occasions - there is a retail park with a supermarket close by (and also several restaurants). We stayed for breakfast on our last morning and it was good value with several items to select from. This is definitely one hotel not to judge by its appearance - we would be happy to stay again.

A week in the Loire
My son and I spent 4 nights here in July 2018. A ‘no frills’ hotel which provides a good base for exploring Blois and the Loire region. Continental breakfast available for a v reasonable rate (€6). The proprietors are lovely, so helpful and friendly.

Nice motel with odd but clean rooms that worked for our family. Friendly, helpful staff. There's nothing great in immediate area though it's a short drive to Blois and Amboise.

Thought it was going to be a nice hotel but how wrong I was. This hotel needs a complete renovation, is old and does not look clean and comfortable.

An old Etap from the 1980's?
This looks like an old Etap from the 1980's that is now run by a family. They seem lovely people, but sadly the hotel is very dated. Breakfast was also very meager.

Very acceptable overnight stop
This hotel was a very convenient stopover for one night having spent the day at the Château de Chambord. With free Wifi and parking and a good breakfast in the morning it suited our needs. The room and en suite were on the small side but clean and quiet. The family who seemed to run all aspects were very friendly and relaxed. (No lift, but at 43 euros a night, what do you expect?!)

Séjour effectué en couple pour visiter le château de Chambord et la ville de Blois et participer au brame du cerf dans l'enceinte de la forêt de Chambord. Egalement, pour profiter des soirées avec notre fils qui est salarié à la centrale de Saint-Laurent. Très bon séjour, avec équipe accueillante. Seul bémol, la qualité du matelas en mousse trop moelleux.

Ok pour une nuit de passage
L'accueil téléphonique et l'accueil en présentiel étaient très bons malgré l'heure tardive de l'arrivée. J'ai été déçue par la chambre pour 3 raisons : pas de lumière dans la salle de bain (le néon avait du claquer - avec une arrivée à 22h30 avec 2 enfants, je ne suis pas descendue à la réception pour le faire savoir), des papiers de biscuits ont été retrouvés par mon fils dans la couchette du haut, et le mur blanc était criblé de tâches de moustiques écrasés. Je confirme que nous avons gardé la fenêtre fermée malgré la chaleur de la chambre.J'ai voulu signaler ces "imperfections" à mon départ vers 8h, et malgré l'heure de pointe pour le petit dej, personne à l'accueil et personne dans la remise (j'ai appelé et tapé à la porte). Cependant, le prix reste imbattable et pour ce prix-là, je ne m'attendais pas non plus à un hôtel exceptionnel bien entendu. Mais même à prix modeste, je pense que les lampes et un peu coup d'éponge sur les murs serait envisageable.
