Setting lovely as I lived in north Wales for 39 years I new the talardy very well staff very helpful nothing was too much trouble would recommend this venue to anyone can't go wrong would return again without hesitation

This hotel was convenient for us. It was our second stay. This last time, we found the hotel toilet needed cleaning, the shower curtain was dirty.

Stayed here 3 times and each time the staff were really polite and friendly. Good food although its a pub menu so based on pub grub was presented well. Shame they dont do more varied menu with more salads and baked spuds with fillings too. Clean and tidy rooms and ample parking .

Building needs attention
The separate accommodation block is in dire need of attention. The seals on the window were non-existent so was a lot of traffic noise and wind. Something banging and crashing in the roof all night.

Bin in room full not emptied went for meal downstairs in pub and found lots off food off menu not available as out off stock which I found was poor also could not sleep as single glazed windows in bedroom all I could hear was a55 traffic all night and the light in carpark shining through window too so would not sleep there again but staff was good

The room itself was nice and spacious. There was no one on reception and check in was at 2 but no one came to the desk until 2:10. We did get asked if we wanted to book a table for dinner or breakfast but we said no but we didnt get told that a table must be booked for even just a drink there. We came down about 4pm to be told theyre fully booked and we couldnt even buy a drink becasue there was no table. If we had known this wed have just booked at check in.we did find a beautiful pub up the road about a 20 min walk called the plouhman and it was very friendly and warm and welcoming.

Great place restaurant wise but hotel rooms were clean in open spaces but under the bed and against the skirting boards were dusty and dirty. The bathroom sink had a massive crack in it. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable

Over night stop.
Stayed in room 7 main building that had no air con but only a fa ,so slept with the window open. The annex however does have air con. Food was nice and cider on draught. Service in the bar/ restaurant was very good despite being very busy.

Clean and nice surroundings . Was noisy staying above the pub during ooen8ng hours but thars to be exoected . Was disappointed with breakfast to be honest value for money wise but lovely place

An amazing gem
We stay at the Talardy often.the staff are amazing and the setting is magical . We celebrated our Ruby wedding last weekend with our daughter. A quiet meal, no fuss. When we arrived we were greeted with a beautifully decorated table with a complementary bottle of bubbly, red hearts and service like no other. I can’t thank the staff,especially Kathy, for making our day so very special.Thank you

Talardy St Asaph
We stayed for 3nights, ate in the restaurant each night and had breakfast each morning. Accommodation was good and staff very helpful and polite. Special mention must go to Frank (the Manager) who also served breakfast each morning. He was so helpful and efficient, Carol in the Restaurant on 2evenings of our stay was attentive and observant - which made our dining experience pleasant without delays for drinks, clearing the table and settling the bill.

Comfortable and clean stay!
Clean, well maintained, modern and comfy room with all amenities including a hairdryer and a fan (needed for the warm weather!) my stay was lovely and quiet. I had dinner which was delicious (good choice, well cooked and presented) and a really friendly service from all staff at all times. Only downside was breakfast which was really poor. Underwhelming continental (toast, cereal, pastries) with coffee in sachets and sad looking fruit. I ordered poached eggs on toast (extra charge), which came on low quality soggy supermarket bread. I’d be happy to pay more for a good quality breakfast! Overall a pleasant and comfy stay.

An absolute gem!
My brother and I stayed here for 1 night and found it to be a real gem of a hotel. The welcome upon arrival was very warm and the staff friendly and efficient. Our rooms were spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and found the menu to be varied, well cooked and the desserts were delicious. Breakfast the following morning was again varied to suit all palates. All in all a super stay and I would definitely stay here again and recommend to my friends.

Very good hotel and value for money
Great hotel in a quiet location. Very big rooms and value for money. We took 2 family rooms that can accommodate 4 in total and they were very clean and beds comfy. Price was excellent too. Staff were friendly and always ready to help. Close reach to Colwyn bay and Llandudno. Will definitely stay again. Food was nice and quickly served as well.
