"We had never been to Saas-Fee. We choose Hotel Allallin because it is close to bus station. When we arrived the hostess was so helpful. We told her we wanted to hike. She gave us good directions. She gave us the Saas Tal card which gave us free use of the cable cars. She suggested that we should have time that afternoon to do a second hike."

"This is one the cheapest places to stay in Saas-Fee and, of course, you get what you pay for. But the Walser is a very basic annexe of the Hotel Tenne where you check in. The room was old but clean and reasonably well appointed. But there is a derelict air about the rest of the place.
