We arrived to a warm welcome and given all the information we required. The room was very cosy and the bed was really comfortable. There is a good pub down the road called The Hacket that serves good food. The breakfast the following morning was very tasty.Overall a very enjoyable one night stay.

Great location surrounded by wonderful wheatfields. Lovely hosts. Quality of accomodation was basic given the price was in the premium range. Restaurants limited.
We arrived fairly late in the evening, and we were welcomed by the lovely host, Helen. The property is located down some beautiful country roads, with some lovely views both in the daytime and the night, where the starry sky and moonlit country fields and lanes create a genuinely peaceful and natural feeling.
The property itself was lovely, very clean and tidy with nice decor throughout. It seems clear to me the host is genuinely interested in the guests having as comfortable a stay as possible. Breakfast was excellent, you choose what you would like the day before and at what time, all served in a lovely dining room. We came as a young family of four and the room we used was a good size and completely comfortable for us all. We stayed here as a base for trips to the Paultons Park and the seaside and it worked well for us. In terms of value for money it is excellent value and we would happily return for another trip in the future.
Helen and Chris were super-friendly, welcoming and made our stay really enjoyable. The bedroom and bathroom were clean, the bed was very comfortable and had everything we needed. In addition to the room, at the front of the property there is a lawn & patio which we used for a short picnic after a long day out, which the kids loved.
The house is on a reasonably quiet country road, a couple of minutes from the A27 and so about 10 minutes from Romsey, about 15 minutes to Paultons Park (Peppa pig world) which was perfect for our trip.
For the children there are numerous play areas a short drive away, we liked the Tim Iles Community playground in Lockerley (6 minutes by car) and the War Memorial Park in Romsey, but there are plenty of others.
We would definitely stay again.
Very nice place , lovely greeting very helpful. Due to lockdown there wasn’t much to do. Pub 2 mins away doing takeaway food .. (had pie n mash which was surprisingly good) lovely location out of the way with a nice view. Very enjoyable stay
