This is a very interesting place to stay that is full of history which enhanced our holiday greatly (we recommend you find out as much as you can from the ladies on front desk, the internet and local Museums. The entrance to the rooms is in Via delle Reginella and only a few metres from the Turtle fountain in Piazza Mattei. If arriving by taxi get them to drop you in the piazza. Beware that arrival after 2:00pm when reception is not manned will involve a slightly complicated set of instructions to get into your room. These however worked perfectly and as consequence rooms are incredibly safe. The room we had was very comfortable but perhaps a little small and lacking in shelves and cupboards for our 7 day stay. If you are staying for a week maybe talk to
staff and consider trying one of the other hotels connected to Reginella in the area. All staff were excellent and helped us out with enthusiasm. Thank you Reginella we enjoyed our stay on the edge of the Jewish quarter and we saw a part of Rome we’d not seen before.
