The location is fantastic, perfect to walk to most of the major sites in Rome. The rooms are clean, comfortable and functionable. Our only criticism would be the breakfast, which was low quality with cold eggs & sausages. And a small thing, we asked about airport transportation options and they offered us a "shuttle" which was more expensive than the fixed fee for taxis in the city. To us it seemed an unnecessary attempt to get a few extra euros out of us.

Dear Gavinder,Thank you for your review, we appreciate that you enjoyed our super central location and our clean and comfortable rooms!Just to be clear, our breakfast consists of fresh products of high quality.We thank you for reporting a probable wrong temperature in the heated tray where we place eggs and sausages because it allowed us to recheck the setting of the heating function that was in line with standard service temperatures.About the “airport shuttle” service, we do not know what you are referring to since we cooperate with a company that offers only services with limousine and private driver, which obviously has a higher cost than the public taxi considering that the service is definitely different and more comfortable.In order to give a fair communication to those who read, the difference, for a service for 2 people to the airport, between the public taxi and the limousine with private driver is only 5,00.Thanks again for being our guest and we hope to see you again so that you can have an even more positive experience

Great time
Beautiful hotel right off of Campo De Fioro which is wonderful. The concierge couldn’t have been better and the room had a beautiful little sit down patio.

A cute little hotel in a great spot. The staff were exceptionally friendly and we felt very welcomed. It was also surprisingly quiet for the space—silent at night

A lovely hotel in an even better location. The staff were very friendly and our room was great for families. We booked a junior suite, which was excellent value for money - loads of room, with 2 separate sleeping areas, a walk in wardrobe and balcony. The hotel is in a beautifu, quiet, market street and close to Piazza Novona and a lovely market square, with lots of places to eat. Would highly recommend.

Tucked down a small lane off a bustling town centre the hotel was very quaint. The reception staff were all wonderful, extremely friendly and happy to offer recommendations across the city. Unfortunately the room fell short of our expectations. Quite grubby in places and sadly the air-conditioning wasn't overly powerful (and during a heat wave, we really needed it). The reception staff again, were lovely and offered an additional fan, but when advertising a fully airconditioned room, you do kind of expect it sadly. We didn't have breakfast, it was in the basement and did smell quite damp (not really their fault but put us off a little). Staff 10/10 room more like a 5.

We loved our stay here! Excellent location (just steps away from Campo di Fiori), can reach most major monuments within 20-25 mins of walking, room was clean and cosy with lovely light and great aircon, and the staff were amazing and went above and beyond to help us sort something out (special thanks to Emiliano for being so helpful). Would highly recommend! Thank you Navona Essence for a lovely stay :)

Location is great, walkable and close to many great things, the only problem was that our room over looked the path that the stalls used to set up for Campo de Fiori so early in the morning they could be heard. A few issues with plumbing, the shower didn’t drain properly and the toilet continuously ran from time to time.

The room was nice and this is in an incredible location! Close to so many great restaurants and night life and walking distance to all of Rome's sights. The staff were extremely helpful and nice and provided lots of information and helped us to book a cab as well. Only thing is that the A/C did not work very well and we were in Rome the week of the heat wave so it was really challenging not coming home to a cool room.

Great stay, recommend!
We had a great stay! The hotel is conveniently located with close public transportation and many attractions within walking distance. The staff were nice and the room was very clean. Great AC, which was critical for a July visit. Our room had some steep steps in it which were fine for us but would warn for people who may have issues with stairs.

The hotel is located at a walkable distance to most attractions. During our stay we had to only book a cab to the train station, but otherwise did walk to our destinations. Lot of food options around, and the local daily market is absolutely a great plus. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is in a good location,campo di fiori for panini juice it is great, they have a mini market right next to the hotel very useful, taxi spot near by too if needed since you can walk a lot to close landmarks, FREE Breakfast good with their options, the room for three people is what we needed was great, the staff very helpful and friendly, we had an issue with the Air Conditioning and they tried to fix it however having a home with A/C that room was never @ 18 Celsius degrees even after they mentioned it was fixed, we need to have to work but the internet does not have the bandwidth or speed to work and we do not use tough apps, so if you like cold rooms after a hot day and a good internet this hotel is not it. Besides that the hotel is good

Great location between the center and Trastevere. Only doenside was the noise from the near by piazza. We usuay are not bothered by city noise but this was a bit loud and hard to sleep at times. Otherthan that, comfortable and easy stay.

We were first time visitors to Italy from the US and the staff made us feel very welcome. They helped us get to the hotel from the airport (despite it being outside of the normal hours because our flight was very delayed) and were very helpful in providing information about the area. Staying here for a great start to our honeymoon and we will definitely stay here again if/when we return to Rome some day =]

We love staying in this part of Rome. We stayed on the same alley before but never saw Navona before. It is in a small alley street off the main square. There's markets, cafes, restaurants, anything you need just a few steps away. The room is clean, new and modern and roomy. Water pressure is good. AC/heater is super quiet and works great. Bed was a little too firm for me. If you need to catch a taxi to the airport, there's some right in the square waiting. We would definitely stay at Navona again!

4 nights Rome.
Very nice stay at lovely hotel close to Campo de Fioro. We walked everywhere in this beautiful city from the hotel which was very doable. Reception is close by in another hotel. I had some questions and just send messages which were answered very promptly. We highly recommended this place.

Location and communication with staff is great. They let us print our boarding passes and set up a taxi for us. We got stuck in the tiny elevator for some minutes , so we never used it again.

We were happy with: 1. It was a decent room 2. Staff was very pleasant. They suggested several good restaurants that made my birthday dinner …very wonderful 3. It was great location. 4. They left a thoughtful note and bottle of bubbles for my birthday. :) We were unhappy with our room stay for the following reasons: 1. Sent this list to the hotel twice before posting…went unacknowledged. 2. Upon our arrival we found we had to walk 1km through the square to check in at another hotel desk. The took bags back to our room. 3. Fruit flies in our room and in the lobby. 4. Room door had to be slammed hard to make it shut/secure. Came back from walk to find it was open as we had not known to slam it. 5. Floor dirty. We found a good amount of dirt/dust kept getting on the bed from our feet due to the dirty floor. 6. Hooks to hang towels. One was broken off and missing. The other was 1/2 hanging off. 7. I ran out of hot water during shower on the first night. 8. Bathroom lighted mirror was not working. 9. Bathroom countertop was chipped/broken. 10. Drain plug in bathtub was broken and would not work. 11. We paid $8 each for a breakfast which we could not finish/enjoy as the basement room was full of fruit flies...very frustrating. We needed to find another breakfast place to eat so we paid twice. 12. There was not any place to relax other than room. No patio to enjoy a glass of wine. Tried the lower hallway sofa but pestered by fruit flies.
