Great location
We really enjoyed our 3 night stay there. Our room was very clean and spacious. Many thanks to Giuseppe for welcoming us at midnight and helping with check in at such late time. Location was excellent. Just few steps away from Vatican. There are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby offering very nice breakfast. Would definitely stay again!

First when we got to the property we were so disappointed since the property was locked and we found out this was not an ordinary hotel its kind of Air B&B and we waited for almost 45 mins to check-in and found out the owner management Joe had just came back from the hospital since he's wife just had a baby.He was so apologetic and it was acceptable because of the circumtances .Bottom line, we LOVED the place and just like us its a family business management and me and my husband met the whole family and everyone was very kind and hospitable.Also we feel its just our second home and I highly recommended this to anyone,its only 10 minutes walking to Vatican City and walking distance to a restaurant and closest souvenir and grocery.Definitely,I will recommend this to my family and friends.

This is a charming, comfortable and convenient boutique hotel perfect for anyone who wants to be close to St. Peters. It's a five minute walk to the heart of the plaza, has lots of good trattorias close by, and good size rooms. Book early! It's very popular.

Local experience close to Vatican
Walking distance to the Vatican and extremely helpful host. A really neat local experience you wouldn’t get staying in a large hotel. Very nicely appointed room and HUGE shower when you do not get often in Europe :) The front desk helped us with a travel reservation as my travel Italian wasn’t good enough or fast enough and she really just went above and beyond assisting us. Very charming property. Picture is a view from the front door.

Lunaria Suites Rome
Our stay at Lunaria Suites was FANTASTIC!!! We thought that the location..almost directly across the street from the entrance to Vatican City..was perfect. It was easy to get to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Piazza del Popolo via taxi..about 7-10 minutes. Taxi stands were a two minute walk from Lunaria. The room was absolutely charming...super clean with all the amenities..recently renovated. The facility is very safe and secure. But best was the kindness of the owner. He made us feel comfortable, and was proud and excited to help us navigate his city. I will recommend Lunaria Suites to anyone planning to travel to Vatican City/Rome.

Hotel owner very nice. However, We did have to cut our stay short. Our only complaint would be the Bed was very uncomfortable. Hard as a board. However, it was very clean .........

Perfect location
Perfect location literally right across the street from St, Peter’s Basilica, I could walk to mass every morning. Downtown Rome was just a short taxi ride away.

Rock throwing distance from the Vatican
When we arrived we met the owner Giusseppi. What a nice guy. It is literally across the street from the Vatican. Nice safe quiet clean and comfortable. For breakfast a roll and cappuacross the street. Save room for lunch and dinner. Lots of good restaurants close by. Walk to Goose or Perdincibacco. Try angry pig for porcheta. Great place to stay. They even have a chandelier in the bathroom.

Great experience in Rome
This is small hotel, neatly maintained, with spotless rooms, they clean the rooms daily and the owners are really nice and helpful. My elder mother (86 years) and I spend almost 10 days at this place and we enjoyed it very much, they helped us finding out where to rent a wheeled chair for my mom and also helped us to bring it in and out of the B&B. The shuttle service that they offer is exceptional, Paolo is courteous, always on time, and really friendly we did several trips with him and he always were on time at the hotel and at the airport or train stations. I really recommend this place, is 3 blocks from Sn Pietro Plaza and is in a quiet and clean area of the city with a lot of restaurants and caffes close by. And by the way, you may hear the bells ringing if you pay attention to that.

Lunaria was amazing. You literally can walk to St Peter's Square in 3 minutes and take a look out your window and see the The dome of the Basilica. The location was fantastic. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores close by. The room was immaculate and very comfortable; has it's own unique character, unlike your standard hotel room. Giuseppe and Elisa, were so kind, warm, helpful and welcoming. I will definitely recommend and be booking another stay on my next trip to Rome. Thanks, Giuseppe and Elisa xx

Small but cozy.
cute little hotel, not to be confused as a bed and breakfast. Rooms are advertise for three adults it will be tight. Rooms are very clean. When you book a room here make sure to call ahead and let them know when you get there because there is no staff on hand. Great location!!! across the street from the Vatican around the corner of shopping & food places. I would definitely stay again!!!

I agree that the triple room is not very convenient for 3 adults, many days and with many suitcases, we tried to specify that it is a double room with extra bed, and I swear I'm solving this problem. Regarding the second point, after your reservation I sent you a message to know approximately the time of your arrival as we do not have a 24 hour reception, but you did not answer me.

The owners are the most lovely people, super warm welcome. The location is just perfect, the rooms are lovely and you just have to cross the street to be at the Vatican. The decoration is beautiful and everything is new. Feels like home!!!! Don't hesitate to stay there.

Boutigue hotel near Vatican
This was a very nice boutique hotel/apartment next to the Vatican. Guiseppe was extremely helpful! The location is excellent with bus stops very close and a short walk to the Vatican. Rooms were well equipped and clean. Highly recommend!

Next to St. Peters Basilica
Staff was very accommodating and arrange alternative transportation on a moments notice. Check in was smooth and everyone was courteous. Will go again hands down.

BEWARE!
-They advertise luxury and the title of this hotel. FAR FROM IT!!! - you would think that because it says B&B that breakfast is automatically included. WRONG! There is little sub-clause that says that you have to buy it at an extra cost. & when I came they said that the ownership was changing so no breakfast period! I changed to another hotel. BUT NO REFUND ! Also no one around yo help when needed.

Pretty good, just ask for some clarification.
The location was really good if you are spending a lot of time around the Vatican. It was only a B, as there was no breakfast. Many places include breakfast and that was a selling point, so clearly a disappointment there. It was clean except for some mold in the bathroom shower. It was pretty quiet. The owners met me upon arrival and helped arrange transportation service to and from the airport. I was charged extra tourist tax upon arrival beyond what I was already charged--not sure what that was about and why it couldn't have been included on the front end. Before you go, ask about whether breakfast is included or if you will be charged extra.

Fantastic location for the Vatican and more
Great location for visiting the Vatican at only a few hundred metres away (5 minutes walk) and within 20 minutes walk from the Piazza Navona (just walk along the river and cross the bridge just after the Castel Sant'Angelo). This was a new experience for us in that it wasn't a hotel and it wasn't quite a traditional B&B with no staff on the premises (rooms still cleaned daily to a high standard). It was a tidy, clean, and secure (3 solid locked doors into the accommodation) room which looks great in shabby chic. Decorated to a high standard. The owners were very helpful and although they are not located in the apartments they were only a phone call away. Downsides are that we thought we had booked the as advertised B&B through Expedia but on arrival we were told that we had got room only. We couldn't find anything in our Expedia paperwork to suggest that our booking of the B&B was just a booking for just the BBC but this may be our fault. Room was a little cramped but the bathroom was a really very good size. Our Expedia booking also said we had a city view but this wasn't really the case as our view was of a backstreet only. These are things we will take up with Expedia as we suspect the Expedia listing is a little inaccurate or out of date. Overall we had a good time in Rome and this was a clean and very pleasant accommodation. We would recommend it especially if you want to be near the Vatican and have a base outside of hectic centre of the city

The proprietors were amazing. Besides providing for us, the gentleman spent a good hour on the phone helping us try to track down our missing luggage. Invaluable since we speak no Italian and the US offices were not open at the time.

When we arrived Martina was there to greet us and make us feel right at home. The location was close to the Vatican and many places to eat -- try All Brothers just around the corner for breakfast and dinner .... Service and food good .... Our room was ready when we arrived!!

The room is beautiful and the staff very helpful and responsive. The location is excellent! 3 minute walk to the Vatican. 20 minute walk to Piazza Navona. Be sure to try La Pilotta for the best bruschetta and pasta. There is also great coffee right across the street.

My stay in Rome
My stay at Sweetly Home Roma Bed and Breakfast was outstanding. The rooms were spotless with all the amenities of a bid hotel but, with the coziness that a B&B should have. The B&B was blocks away from The Vatican and other historical sights. everything is within walking distance and arrangements can be made for pick up to and from the airport. Martina(Hotel Manager)and the B&B staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I cant wait to return to Rome and now I know where I will always stay. I highly recommend this B&B!!!

Had a wonderful stay in October 2015. This Luxury B&B is steps from St. Peter's square, as well as many nice restaurants. The room was beautiful, the staff extremely kind, and Martina went out of her way repeatedly to make us feel welcome. We will be back some day, and will certainly recommend to friends and family.
