Very convenient location& great customer service
We had a great stay at Cappellini. The owner was so helpful and was doing his best to make our stay a pleasant experience. The B&B is not in the nicest area but we felt safe, even walking at night. If we go back to Rome, we will definitely stay at Cappellini!

Convenient-Basic
One night. Off train and going to airport next day. Ideal location as beside termini. Owner Pasquale very friendly and gave directions to good restaurant. Our opinion was divided on the b&b. I felt it was adequate and found breakfast, in the lobby, generous. My wife felt the room was not up to standard and would pay more to stay elsewhere again. No problem leaving luggage till ready to depart and P. gaves us details of all options to the airport.Mature couple.

Terrible
This B n B was not as advertized . It was in bad areas and the room looked dirty and terrible. We had pre paid for the night but we chose to lose the money and look for a safer and cleaner place to spend the night

Clean comfortable room, with very friendly English speaking owner/manager. Located very close to the train station (but probably not in the best neighborhood) and within reasonable walking distance of most sights.

Would stay again
A nice spot within easy reach from the main station, and pascalle was very hospitipal and welcoming, even a little gift! The room was good, spacious, with some added character, and great value for money. Maybe the neighbourhood can feel a bit intimidating and the beds a little too firm for me, but all in all it's a pleasant stay and good value for money.

Reasonable choice near Termini with a gracious ho
This is a budget choice near Termini station. The building is faded, the rooms of a uniquedecor, but the host, Lee, an involved and most gracious host. The units are part of a suite of rooms on one floor of an apartment building with a small sign on the door and an intercom for access. Once you find it, Lee will orient you to where the best restaurants are and how to best access the sites in the area.

Great experience
We booked this place very last minute and were very pleasantly surprised. It definutely exceeded our expectations. It's steps away from termini station which is really convenient because that's where Rome's two metro lines connect. The room was nice and big, very clean and had all ammenities needed including your own private bathroom. The owner of the B and B was extremely kind and very helpful. The best part it was very affordable and included a breakfast.

A Great Bargain near Termini
The cute and centrally located B&B Cappellini had a quiet, spacious, sparking clean room, great shower, and personalized service. It is literally steps away from Termini station (for better or worse- great when needing to catch an early train) but on a quiet street. Pasquale, the host, was very gracious. My only complaint is that the mattress was terribly old and uncomfortable. Springs poking out of it uncomfortable. Step up and get some new ones! Then you will be 5 stars...

A walk around Rome
Walking distance from the Termini. Great location for walking all around Rome on a limited budget. There is, however, a $14.00 fee due at checkout. There is a good Change (money conversion) store right across the street from the bus termini. Pasquale is very helpful, he provides a good map of the area, including all of the tourist sites. The breakfast is very simple, but good. The locals can be loud during the night, but not too bad. Overall, it was a good experience.

Great little gem .. . . .
Was contacted in advance to confirm my arrival time ... which was a bonus. The neighbourhood was "less desirable", and was glad that Mr Lee was there at the arrival time!!! walked up 4 stairs then had the Old Fashioned elevator to take me to the 2nd floor. Little B/B, with central kitchen and clean rooms ( I peeked in a couple of them). Mine was for a single, but had all you need - great fan (was over 30c), 12 foot ceiling, table, good sized fridge, TV, closet, private bath/shower, and comfy single bed. As I left before Breakfast, Mr Lee gave me fruit/croissant the night before . . . definitely worth the 38Euro!!!!!! and 10 min walk from Roma Termini.. ..

Great little place
Quite a find, very helpful owner sent an email on booking asking when I would arriving. Good run down provided on arrival pointing out the places to see and eat etc. Note when first arriving look for a large 29 by the main entrance door and then press the intercom button, toward the bottom on the left. Wifi, decent TV small safe and fridge within the room. Handy location for Termini station and the various airport bus services – two are within a couple of minutes walk.

Good Location
B & B Capellini was exactly what we expected from reviews we had read. The site near the Termini was a little rundown but we never felt unsafe, even at night. The apartment building is old and a little run down in the entry and halls but the apartment where the B & B is was perfectly clean if a little oddly decorated. As noted in other reviews, Pasquale was very helpful and provided lots of info on the area, sites to see, restaurants, and transportation options. The big plus to breakfast was the constant pot of coffee available. Good value for the money.

Close to station, nice manager
The location of the B & B was not far from Rome's central train station in a building with several stories. The manager was very kind and polite, he assisted us with finding some places to eat; might I add that the Fassi Gelato shop we went to was the same one my grandmother went to as a young girl while she lived in Rome! The room was accommodating for my husband and I, however the bed was on the firm side. The private bathroom was more spacious than some others we had stayed at. We enjoyed a light breakfast of pastries/bread with coffee. Fortunately, they let us keep our luggage there while we visited the Colosseum and other great historical sights of Rome.

Very basic, very convenient for early flights
As other reviewers have said, the neighborhood is very sketchy. Even in broad daylight, I was a bit uncomfortable and I live in a big city so I'm used to street activity. I would not feel comfortable walking to the B&B by myself after dark although the owner assured me it is safe. The entry hall is extremely dark and dingy - anyone not familiar with the European system of a locked front door leading to a common foyer that may not at all reflect the rest of the building may be completely put off. The B&B itself feels more like a somewhat run-down college dorm suite than a B&B. But the owner is very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and the bathroom was recently refurbished and clean. As far as I could tell, my room was not air conditioned; it was very hot and would have been unbearable if there had not, fortunately, been a fan in the room. Breakfast was basic, but adequate - I didn't think the coffee was as bad as others found. But the best thing is about the place is that it is literally a 3 minute walk to the airport bus which is the best deal in town - 4 euros to get to the airport in 40 minutes. Would I stay there again? No. But I agree that if I were in my twenties and trying to see Europe on a budget, this would be a find.

We felt very cared for!!
We were very cared for at B&B! The owner met us out on the street when we arrived, carried our suitcases, made sure we figured out the bus to the airport and woke up at 4:00 a.m. to make sure we got to the bus! We were very thankful for his care!!

Very helpful manager, great travel suggestions
We did a very last minute reservation for this overnight stay. Walkable from Termini station, and although location is in a slightly "sketchy" looking area, we had no trouble whatsoever. The manager gave us a wonderful dinner suggestion close by, the Elletra, which was one of the best dinners we had in Italy. The Fossi gelato place is also very close- deliciousness out of this world! The hospitality here was a pleasant surprise after our long flight over., and made up for the older neighborhood/furnishings. Good for our brief stay!

Has the necessities + great service
If you're looking for a room near turmini station with wifi, A/C, and a decent bathroom, look no further. This little hotel has the basics covered and excels in service. I've stayed in several similarly priced hotels in the area and the this was one of the nicer rooms, but the help offered by the proprietor was what really stood out (directions, recommendations, even helped me fix a piece of luggage). Also of note- owner speaks English, Italian, and putonghua.

Right next to Termini
I stayed in this bed and breakfast for my last two nights in Rome and was looking for a place within close proximity to airport transportation and city sights. 3 blocks from a the shuttle and transport the B&B offered that! The rooms located inside of an apartment (a concept I first became familiar with on this trip) are clean and roomy with bathrooms in each room. The B&B manager, Pasquale, greeted me warmly with a map of Rome and took the time to show me all the attractions, supermarkets, bars and transport in this city. The only thing is that the area around Termini (train station) is a bit run down and I recommend a Taxi if you plan on coming back to the hotel after midnight and especially after a few drinks. But this is no fault of the B&B and would def stay here again if I am looking to stay around Termini.

Right Beside Termini Station
Keep an open mind. This is not a conventional B&B. This is an apartment unit on the second floor of a building with multiple rooms. You enter the building by buzzing the unit on the front door. The neighbourhood surrounding the B&B is the less glamourous area of Rome. But all its shortcomings is balanced by its strategic location that is at the doorstep of Termini Station and the great service you get from the manager, Pascuale. The rooms are dated, its decor questionable, but it is well maintained and clean. You have access to WiFi and breakfast is included. We cannot speak highly enough of the manger, Pascule. He is at your complete service and took care of us from our arrival to our departure. He will give you details of how to get around town and visit the must-see sights. If you seek a place that's accessible to public transportation and is a good value, Capellini B&B is your place.

Good value for money
This is a nice little B&B near the main train station. The owner was very helpful with my late arrival, and provided advice on restaurants. The rooms are basically furnished with a private bathroom/shower, and the bed was comfortable. Good for what you pay for in my opinion. I agree with comments that the area looks quite dodgy at night as the street lighting gets worse and it sits maybe 2 blocks out from the established tourist strip. However it was safe enough when walking through, and I saw a few local women walking through alone at night which provided some reassurance.

Close to Roma Termini Station
Cappellini B&B is quite close to Termini Station, the owner is almost too polite and helpful and the room was very comfortable for the price. It even had a fridge and a safe. The neighborhood was a little dodgy, but got better about a block away. The entry hall could really put one off, though. It's not a place for everyone, but close to the train and metro stations, so it was a very economical and convenient place to stay.

Great proximity to the train station but...
We booked this place because it was close to the train station, walking distance to all of the monuments, and they were able to accommodate 4 people to a room for a reasonable price. In this respect, the room was perfect. The man who runs the B&B is a lovely Asian man who is extremely helpful. He provided us with a map of Rome and helped us plan a 1-day tour of all the sights. The room itself was alright for 1 night, but I'm glad we didn't stay longer. It was spacious and relatively clean but decorated more like a college dorm room than a B&B. The minifridge was not working and the large flat-screen TV had a very poor cable signal. There was a strong mildew odor emanating from the bathroom and as soon as we tried to shower, we could see why - the shower sprays out the top and soaks the entire bathroom, leaving only a trickle to wash yourself with. The towels were stiff like cardboard and the "white" color was more of a dingy brown. If they could remedy the bathroom situation, we would have been much more satisfied with the accommodations. The breakfast also left something to be desired. There were 2 types of cereal and a few different types of bread with an assortment of jams but they all appeared as if they had been purchased at a budget grocery store. The "juice," was actually a fruit-flavored tablet dissolved in water, and the coffee tasted like dirty water. Overall, this B&B served its purpose for us but I would not recommend staying here for an extended vacation.

Great Location
The landlady is a sweetheart and she has gone to a lot of trouble to make sure that her rooms are clean and well presented and that you feel welcome. She does not speak English but she still communicates well. She is there most of the day and comes in the morning to provide breakfast. It is a very friendly little B & B and she has five rooms in which she takes great pride. She also provides free Wifi in all the rooms if you have your own computer. The building has an elevator so it is fabulous when you are sick of carting around your cases. The hotel is superbly located in terms of Termini - it is virtually opposite the station. The area is not the best but we had no problems at all and we were able to walk everywhere - the Colluseum, the Pantheon, etc
