Room was great! Everything was good. The only thing is i booked a room with ocean view and i got a parking lot view. Very disappointed but otherwise it's great!

I'm sorry to hear you felt like you got something you had not booked. If you look at your reservation again, you will see that you HAD BOOKED a NON VIEW room. We do not bait and switch, nor do we assign a room you had not booked. In fact had you come to the office right away we could have upgraded you to an oceanfront for the price of the difference. You chose the least expensive room thinking you were getting an oceanfront when in reality YOU chose a non oceanfront room. For future reservations make sure you read the details before clicking "BOOK". It saves a lot of grief for both you and the management.

I liked this place, we have stayed at several different motels along the coast, this one had great access to the beach. And our view was perfect! We watched the beautiful sunset from the porch!

Was on the beach. Room was clean. Beach access was excellent. Was a little out dated. Had an old smell to the room. Couldn't figure out how to turn on the light over the mirror, so was a little hard to do make up and hair. Would probably stay again. Would be good for kids with beach so close.

Was perfect size and had everything that anybody would ever need or want. Kitchen, stove, toaster, fridge, coffee maker. Walk out the back door and you’re right at the water. Great stay. Thank you!

What a find! Mom and Pop motel on the beach! Super friendly and helpful 'Pop' who kindly shares local best tips. This is not a fancy resort - it is a nice little motel directly on the beach, that is clean and well maintained with thoughtful touches. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and so much more because of the people who own it. Already made a reservation to come back. Thanks for a lovely long weekend!

Not the finest……
Let me start with the good news, every room had a view, which was wonderful! We were able to get a second floor room which we wanted. Now for the not so good news: hotel is horribly outdated. We had to ask for soap for the bathroom, and we were given ONE tiny bar instead of a small bar for the sink and a small bar for the shower. The bed needs to be replaced, and there should be a selection of pillows and there isn’t. The fireplace, which we were so looking forward to had a sign on the glass, stating it was out of order, and a fire hazard, which didn’t make us feel very safe. Overall, it was not OK to stay, but we likely would not stay there again. but for oceanfront, the price was good.

Husband and I came to the coast to celebrate his birthday, we spent two nights in a non-ocean view room. Reasonable rate, very clean room. This hotel is nothing fancy, but it makes for a comfortable stay. I have dietary restrictions, so having a fridge and microwave is crucial to us when we travel. The room was small but there were thoughtful appointments - I would imagine that the owners perhaps stayed in a room and thought about small things that would make a stay more comfortable - the high end shower head and nice towels in the bathroom. They also varnished the top of the wood on the bathroom cabinet and put bumpers on nightstand edges to avoid bruising on sharp corners - thoughtful touches like this make this property stand out. Additionally, the gentleman at the front desk is wonderful - we packed all we needed for a weekend away except for silverware. When we arrived, we asked where the closest mini mart was to purchase some - he went to the back of the office and provided two sets of his own and advised us it was his pleasure to be of service and to contact the office if we needed anything else during our stay. These are all reasons we will recommend this hotel as a reasonable place to say, and will be back in the future - thank you for the relaxing weekend. Great customer service is hard to find these days, but you will find it here.

Mold in the window, bubbling paint with black mold underneath, babies ended up having cold like symptoms only when we were in that room. No pack or blankets available. Not enough toilet paper for one person for a night. Heater made smokey smell.

Loved the ocean proximity, I left the glass door open & slept like a baby with the soothing sounds of the ocean & the comfortable bed. It was so nice to have a deck and the beach was just steps away. The towels were soft & thick. The paper towels & tissues were nice quality (it's the little things that count!). The check in process with Mr. Patel was very pleasant. I will definitely be back.

Quiet and peaceful.
Our stay was great! Really liked that the beach was so close and easily accessible. Our room was clean and comfortable and included a deck where we could sit and watch the waves. At night we left the sliding door open a little so we could hear the ocean sounds. Very peaceful.

2-night beach stay
The view of the ocean is awesome! And you can easily walk to the beach. The motel was getting new paint on the outside. The bed was average, nice large tv, nice location. The sink plumbing is in need of repair.

Fireplace did not work… nice manager had to repair refrigerator. Some electrical issues. Was nice .. left us a bottle of champagne for our troubles… kind of nice not to have dogs all around. They changed their dog acceptance policy.

Perfect spot on Oregon coast
We enjoyed our stay at the Tradewinds Motel very much. Our room was comfortable and clean, and it's super easy to walk to the beach! Such a gorgeous beach including wonderful sunsets! Several good restaurants and little shops are nearby plus Tillamook isn't far with the Air Museum and Cheese Factory. Less congested than Seaside, and we were blessed with beautiful weather. The flowers at Tradewinds give you a lift every day!

Great beach side motel
We liked this motel. They communicate well about all of their policies. Rooms are clean, they changed our towels every day. They change sheets every three days. Bed and mattress was comfortable. large TV. It's right on the beach. Our room faced the street but we didn't hang out that much in the room. On the ocean side, there is an area with picnic tables, where you can hang out. They have beach access about 200 feet down the street. We arrived on Wednesday in July and stayed until Sat morning. There are a couple of motels next door, but it never felt crowded or noisy. We would stay again.

There is nothing fancy about this hotel but it was amazing for our family trip. The full kitchenette was a plus traveling with young children. Our room was footsteps from the beach, rooms were clean, and staff was friendly. It’s close to a lot of dining/shopping options in Rockaway. The hotel was very quiet and we enjoyed every bit of our stay. We would stay here again!

We loved it here. Had a bottom unit which overlooked the ocean and you could walk off your deck and down to the beach. Friendly staff. Clean unit. Had all the necessary things to cook with in the kitchen with a stove and a little fridge. We will return!
