“Disgusting!!”

Mildew in shower, filthy carpets, at least an inch of dust on baseboards in bathroom, grimy shower head, large discoloration/stain on bedspread. Elevator smelled like something had died in there. Only stayed because we had paid in advance through expedia and arrived late with need of just one night. Have never had an experience like this before with any other expedia hotel and we have used this method for years. I wouldn't stay here again if the only other choice was sleeping in the car!

“Pretty good place to stay”

We went to the Martinsville Sprit cup race. The location was very good for where we had to travel. Only things we didn't like were: TV remore was falling apart Didn't have tea bags for breakfast, which by the way other than that it was very good. We would stay again.

“beat up hotel”

Bathroom furnishings poor quality, walls unpainted, not able to turn off refrigerator/ sounds, breakfast one of the poorest ever displayed

“It should be shut down”

This hotel was disgusting and in very poor repair. The floor tiles were loose, the room had a horrible odor, the shower head leaked and had crud all over it. The "full breakfast" was only meagerly above a continental style. The eggs were powdered and rubbery, there was no meat and the selection of rolls and bagels tasted like the cardboard box. Awful experience! We cancelled the second night we had booked.

“OK for a one night stop”

A good value hotel for a one night stop if you need to visit locally or are passing through Roanoke. But the rooms are a bit gloomy and the hotel's in one of those areas surrounded by car show rooms and businesses. Front reception was fine, staff friendly, breakfast OK.

“look else where”

overall very low class, exterior dirty and unkept, bedding clean but rest of room not. trash can full from previous occupant, all photos extremely deceiving

“Not Impressed”

Not Impressed about this hotel at all. The breakfast is okay. Room is too exposed to outsiders. Condition or maintenance of the hotel is poor.

“good for sleeping”

Very comfy beds. Overlook poor outdated bathroom and airconditioner. Very cheap price, walking distance to hospital. Nice park next to parking lot. Nice view of mountains, and Roanoke star. We had car trouble, had to walk to hosp for husbands surgery. Made it on time. We had to overlook poor style of motel, but felt safe, got good sleep, so that's what mattered at the time.

Area recommendations
For southside/ Martinsville would be commonwealth Blvd, close to stores, restaraunts. For roanoke depends on if there for medical care than stay near hospitals, if to shop stay near airport or malls.
