"This could be a great hotel with a spa and gym, in a perfect position, good choice at breakfast and lovely staff. But it has not been maintained. While we were there, the spa was closed because the roof had fallen in, the lift broke down and was still out of action on the day we left, the door to the gym would not close, there weren’t enough sockets for the gym equipment and some did not even have electrical leads."

"Family run hotel, nice owners, very convenient location for travelling, because just a little outside of the town center of Varazze. Fantastic food in their restaurant. Good continental breakfast. The only thing I had a small problem with was that the fan in the bathroom was not working, and that the showerfloor was not very nice.....broken tiles etc. The room was very hot, the aircondition was not on but eventually at night with a slightly open window it cooled down. "

"Great hotel, great location. No need for Uber - just take line 2 from airport to medecine stop on the tram. 5 min walk to hotel door. We arrived early ( 11:45am) but we’re able to get into our room- even though it was FULL! You can’t go wrong booking this hotel. You are in the city- so it isn’t “quiet” in the streets at night. But it is a lovely , clean hotel!"

"Had a fantastic experience at Hotel Mayola. The staff is friendly and really kind, they made us feel right at home. The breakfast had good variety from focaccias, to scramble eggs, cakes, fruit salads, and everything both an Italian and a British or American person would eat. "We appreciated the bunk beds for our kids and the balcony. The hotel staff were very nice. Lots of beaches and restaurants with umbrellas and chairs a short walk away. Near a nice strolling/shopping street. We stayed here on our way up to Switzerland and were very pleasantly surprised with the hotel and town! Easy parking on the street in front of the hotel.
