For us the apartment was fine. Our check in process was complicated by our lack of phone and internet service. My fault Local restaurant owner helped us greatly by providing internet service. The room was adequate and a good place to crash. Thank you

close to marina and tunnel to train station. Had air conditioning. Shower door was broken and toilet seat was loose. One of the pillows was extremely hard, felt like it was filled with saw dust. Clerk communicated with us through what’s app to determine check in time but was rude when meeting in person.

Fantastic location but dated room
Lovely location and atmosphere and helpful host. The kitchen cooker and microwave were faulty and the shower was blocked but overall a nice place to stay. We thought this was good value for money for the area

Wonderful Location. Very disappointed with the lack comfort and cleanliness of the room. The lack of air conditioning and wifi left us hot throughout the night and without means of communication. The services that were available, such as a shower, were of very poor quality and almost unable to use. We would not stay here again, and would not recommend it to anyone.

Great place to stay! Both rooms were updated and had everything you need. Both were very clean. While no front desk the check in process was very smooth and easy. I changed rooms since i had two bookings and they made that very easy as well! I would definitely stay here again when I’m back in Cinque Terre.

Excellent stay!
The trip was excellent. I stayed in two different rooms since I booked two nights separately. Both rooms were very very nice! Both had everything you need for a great stay; a kettle, coffee, clean bathroom, easy check in! Micol was very easy to coordinate with and made the trip great.

Air conditioning didn’t work. Try contacting the owner twice about getting it fixed when they said it was going to be looked at and no response. Slept in a hot and noisy room, luckily it was only one night. No hair dryer provided like it was advertised. Towel rack in bathroom was broken. There was so much noise outside from really late at night (1am) and then again at 7am for the rest of the day. Positives: close to train station, city center where there are shops and restaurants, and sea. Due to the lack of communication, noise, and no air conditioning in Italy’s heat is unacceptable and won’t be returning

What I like? Nice centric location. What I didn't like? This is not a hotel, these are apartments that would better fit in a bed and bedroom sharing app other than hotel searches. Having said that, the property condition is ok, however is overpriced and overrated. No A/C, just some fans that don't work properly and make a lot of noise. No Wi-Fi (not a big deal but some people think it's crucial). And the worst, the toilet was broken and sewer water was leaking into the floor, we stayed for 2 nights and it was fixed until the 2nd day of our stay, a few hours before we left. Would not recommend at all. For the price they are charging they can totally improve the place.

Very central. Great view from terrace.
The Apartment is in an excellent location for the marina, train station and town centre. The arrangement to get keys etc worked very smoothly. the only issue was with the shower which seemed to vary from very cold to very hold, apparently something to do with old building. This was a minor issue however.

Great Stay!
The room was very clean and the location, right in the middle of Riomaggiore, was perfect for finding restaurants or traveling between towns. The room even had a washing machine! Towards the end of a long trip, that was a lifesaver. The staff was very helpful with finding the room and answering any questions I had about the location.

Check in was prompt and informative. Room was clean and well presented. All requests were promptly attended to. The suite is located right above the train line so it is rather noisy, especially early mornings when all of the delivery trucks and recycling staff start. This did not bother me as I wake up early regardless, but may be a consideration for some.

Were given an address to 'pick up key'. After dragging suitcase from train, up the hill to address, we were brought all the way back down the hill to the actual facility. Not cool. Room had an espresso machine and a hot pot, but no cups, no tea, no creamer. No shelf or hook in bathroom. No maid service. Floors were very dirty, toilet leaked, Other places leave recommendations, have contact info and housekeeping. This room was listed as 'apartment'. It did have a small fridge, but nothing that would make it an apartment. No chair, table, microwave, etc. Very disappointing start to finish.

Are you sure that this rewiev is for our structure? Where you see that this tylogy is an apartment Is called room with sea view!!!! Room no apartment If you are not able to read the different types of our structure, I suggest you to contact a specialized agency! You don't have a place where sit? You're lying! You and your friends have booked a all building In one room you have a balcony with 2 chair and Inside the room a desk whit a stoll in a second one have terrace about of 23mq whit a table 2chair and 2 deckchairs do you want chair again? Do you want have a party in my structure? The little think that we give you for the breakfast are free you don't pay nothing of this. Which people criticizes a gift? I want inform all people that read this review that the distance between the train station and the structure is about 2min to walk

Ok Place if you don't mind Climbing stairs.
This is an Ok place if you don't mind climbing stairs up to the 4th and 5th floor. The stairs are steep, so I suggest you pack light. I arrived late at night and there were no instructions in the room about how to turn on the heater as I was there during November (cold). So better call and ask before arriving. Other than that, it was an ok stay for a night.

The apartment was fine and the kitchenette and washing machine were bonuses. However, there were five flights of stairs, so it was difficult to get the luggage up to the room. We were in the middle of town and it was noisy due to the many restaurants in the vicinity.

Interesting Place With great Roof Deck
This is not really a hotel, more of a holiday apartment of sorts. The bedroom and bath is on the fourth floor, up some very steep stairs. The kitchen and deck is up another flight, more like a ladder. No kids would be safe and not for those who have trouble with stairs. The room is basic, but very clean and nicely decoratedm with IKEA furniture and lamps. The kitchen is pretty basic and quite tiny, situated around the top of the ladder. The deck is large, with a table and chairs and overlooks the nice harbor and the town square. Probably the best part of the place. There is quite a bit of noise as it is actually over the train station.

Our contact was very helpful upon arrival and before arrival. The room was clean but was lacking in a few essential areas. The roof top deck was the best thing about the place couldn't imagine booking a room without it. Since it was separate from the room it was nice to have a kitchenette to cook and prepare meals. Only suggestions is make sure there are enough pillow cases to cover all pillows provided. And enough toilet paper to have enough for your stay. There wasn't of either and no front desk to get from; it's an apt. The toilet ran like the sound of a faucet the whole time we were there and I had to shut the water off when sleeping. No wifi

Hard time with review.
This apartment is in a perfect location, very clean, in city center & a short walk to the train. You will need to carry your luggage up steep stairs to your room. There is no staff, you will pick-up your key in a lock box at the entrance. My complaint is the shower is either scalding hot or freezing cold, no in between. Also the bathroom had a bad smell.

I would advise to stay away from this place if you are a light sleeper. Garbage pick up around 5am and LOUD people partying on the main street up until very late every night. And the patio overlooks the main square. We had to borrow chairs for our patio from the upstairs neighbor and our AC was broken. Great location not up in the hills and it was very clean

Great no-frills stay!
Really nice self-catering apartment in Riomaggiore. Clean, big enough for the two of us, and very centrally located near bars and restaurants. Our only issue was the lack of wifi, which was a bit of an inconvenience. Make sure to email ahead with your arrival time as there is no reception! We would stay again.

Cinque Terre
This is a good size apartment with queen bed and sofa bed - very comfortable. Small kitchen and decent bathroom. There are 4 steep sets of stairs to get to it. Difficult with luggage but staff helped us carry the cases up. You have to be in good shape to get up and down them.

Amazing location!
Hotel is situated right in the heart of Riomaggiore in a fabulous spot. Great for a couple of nights stay with a great shower and comfy bed. The apartment itself was very spacious with a view of other houses nearby.

Your health in danger
It is shameful that hotels.com has partner with this place, as it endangers the health of your customers. Not a hotel. A nasty studio owned by a young man with no hygienic habits. The bathroom is so filthy and covered with black mold that we feared for our health and I did get sick at the end. It is an extremely overpriced shack. No person for no amount of money should stay there. On top of that, hotels.com told us our credit card would be charge and yet, we were asked for cash at our arrival. And, to our surprise, the place was not cleaned with found the mess of the previous customers all over. See for yourself in pictures so that you don't go through what we experienced.

Authentic apartment
Not really a hotel but an apartment. Steep stairs to go up so wouldn't recommend if you weren't fit although the person who met us offered to carry our bags for us. apartment was smallish but authentic to the area, had everything we needed (although there were 3 of us and only 2 stools to sit up to eat). It was great opening the shutters and watching everything going on in the street below, didn't really find it noisy. Didn't have wi-fi which we thought we would have (was a bit of a pain as we were booking train tickets online etc). Went downstairs and had dessert and drinks and used the restaurant's wifi one evening. Was only 8 mins walk to train station.

Beautiful views
The room (double room with terrace) is small with older furnishings; however, it was very clean and well maintained. The mattress seemed brand new and was very comfortable. There are 32 very steep, narrow steps to climb to get to the room. The terrace is located above the room accessed by steep stairs. I mention the stairs for those who may be unable to climb up and down - they were not an issue for us! We went to Cinque Terre for the hiking, and this location was excellent to access trails. The train station is very close and we traveled by train to explore other towns and to hike between Vernazza and Manarola. The hike is steep, but well worth the incredible, breathtaking views! The room is in town above several restuarants, so it was a bit noisy in the evening. If the noise bothers you, just close the window and turn on the air conditioner! Great restuarants and local stores. I would highly recomment this location. We traveled in September 2015.

A very well situated spot with a sneaky view of the sea. Lots of activity going on. Noise from the bar downstairs and rubbish trucks in a.m. comfortable, apartment, small but clean, with a good shower & plenty ofh hot water. David veryh helpful.

Don't rely on the picture to book this room. View was of the building across the street. Four very steep set of stairs to the room on the fourth floor. This is not a hotel, it's a room to rent. Overall pretty shabby apartment. The only saving grace was that it's in the middle of town. Think twice before booking.

Riomaggiore was a great town to stay in. Our room was not part of a hotel, but just a room in one of the buildings off the school square. Very noisy during the day because of the school and at night because of the bars. The room was basic but clean. Remember to bring your own shampoo.
