This is a very nice hotel. We will definitely come back here again when visiting Rio. They take everything seriously (security, cleaning, etc). Very convenient to go to beach. Highly recommended.

Nicest hotel in Recreio/Macumba área.
Nice hotel. Good views from rooms and pool deck. Security was very tight. We had other people in our group that were staying near us that were not allowed to visit us on property which was a bit strange. The Recreio/Macumba área was very enjoyable however. Beach out front was very nice.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Beaches were amazing. Nearby surf lessons were great! Rooftop pool and bar was super fun.

- Prepare to be bombarded with rules - does not feel like a hotel, more like a prison - Made to wear wristbands for 'safety' - I am sure a gunman in Rio is going to worry about wristbands - Looks brand new outside - inside the furniture is rusting and dirty, especially bathroom - Very unhygienic - no mattress protectors - imagine all the bodily fluid you're lying on - No bedside cabinets - no chair on balcony - plenty of potential but too many issues to truly enjoy

Don't expect to sleep
We had 5 nights here. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, very white and really attentive, wonderful staff. The sound proofing however is shockingly bad. The first two nights we barely slept due to traffic noises from main road outside building. We asked to move, the hotel understood and moved us to a higher floor and on the buildings curve. This was Fri-Sun Eve and we could no longer hear the traffic, because it was drowned out by the beach club music. This was even louder and persisted from early afternoon through the night to early morning. So little to no sleep for 5 nights. Again, the staff were wonderful. Really polite, with good humour and very helpful, we cannot fault them. The food was also really nice, with plenty of choice. The pool is its crowning glory. Gorgeous views and great cocktails. Tip - get there for opening at 8am (fills up quickly).

Good value for money
This hotel looks awesome from the outside, but needs some maintenance if you take a closer look. Nothing bad although, we had a very good stay. Friendly and helpful staff, nice infinity rooftop swimming pool. We paid extra for sea view, well spent

This hotel won't allow you to have guests up to your room even if they are not staying over night. I was having a friend visit and they require a bracelet for room access and the staff is very rude. Security is always checking you are wearing this dumb bracelet. You pay good money to stay here and you can't have a guest come up for a meeting or drink very weird and inconvenient, will never stay here again.

Hotel bem bonito e conservado. Mas fiquei mais de 40 minutos para fazer o check in! Só tinha duas pessoas no balcão. A área da piscina tem pouquíssimas mesas que não atendem a quantidade de hópedes, nem a metade! A piscina é pequena e por conta disso fica LOTADA! Eu nem tive coragem de entrar! Fui para relaxar na piscina e do nada apareceu um animador com um microfone falando super alto… não gostei mesmo! De noite eu pedi um macarrão a bolonhesa e o molho era daqueles prontos, horrível!! Enfim, o serviço foi ótimo (na piscina principalmente!! Garçons ótimos), mas a minha experiência não foi das melhores!

The hotel is beautiful and the service was wonderful. Location is right across the beach. Check in was quick and everyone was very nice and helpful. Pool area was nice with very limited chairs. Difficult to communicate unless you know Portuguese. Got an awesome massage at the spa. Hotel could use some updating in the rooms. Noted small tiny pin like dot bugs in room on counters that was not very bothersome, However my husband left a brownie out for 30 minutes and it was covered with the bugs. Next time I won’t have food in room. Overall the staff were wonderful and friendly and I would stay if I came back to area. My husband came here to learn to surf and the school recommended this area for beginners.

Great service, quiet, clean. Great amenities. Beachfront and beautiful. American tourist visiting Brazil for first time and was not disappointed. If you love the beach, this is the hotel for you.
