"Spent a week at the Hotel Benidorm Plaza and found it to be overall an excellent hotel. The restaurant staff were outstanding with a special mention to Miguel Angel, Rocio, Mauri and Patino who were always welcoming and looked after us amazingly well. The reception staff were all excellent but again a special mention to Reguar who assisted with a late checkout. The food in the restaurant was always good with a great variety of dishes available at each mealtime. My only grumble was that the veg were a little over cooked. The hotel has a lovely pool and several terraces you can use if you are not a fan of the beach. If you do like the beach it's only a ten minute walk away. Thank you for a great stay. "

"Well placed hotel. Staff friendly & helpful. Room was clean & comfortable. Beds a bit too hard for our liking. Bathroom/shower one of the best. Unfortunately, it started with an island of hair, but easily removed. Also, there was a daily dance/aerobics across the road in the parc de foietes which was quite loud & made a siesta difficult (not connected to the hotel). We're been here 3 or 4 times over decades. Would still return in the future. "

"We were very pleasantly surprised with how nice our apartment was. After reading some reviews and the low price we were not expecting much but the apartment had everything we needed and more. We arrived at 2pm (check in time 5pm) and were able to check in which was great. The apartment was fairly clean and in pretty good condition. There was a fully equipped kitchen including a washing machine and dishwasher! The shower was always hot and the water pressure was consistently strong. The WiFi coverage and speed was great for the entirety of the trip. We had a big, furnished balcony that has the sun in the evenings but the door to it was broken (not really an issue for us). The bed was comfy, initially we only had a sheet but asked for a blanket at reception and they got us one straight away. There were blackout shutters in both the bedroom and living room which were incredible! A/C worked perfectly all the way through, it’s controlled by a digital panel, could have it really cold if you needed but even having it on a reasonable temperature was comfortable. It was only a 10-15min walk to the beach or the strip (it’s a bit of a hill but we were fine with it) and they provide a shuttle that runs every 20mins, for free, between the morning and about 10pm at night. We didn’t use the pool, bar or restaurant at the main hotel so can’t comment but it always looked nice when we called in to reception. Overall it was a great stay and would stay here again."
