What makes this hotel stand out is its very well trained, ultra friendly, helpful, and sharp staff. Adding to enjoyment to be greeted by your name upon arrival and during your interactions with the front desk attendants, is the comfort of its premises. I so very much recommend.

Good location. Old and not maintained. I’ve asked to be moved, because of the noise and the bells that goes off 8 in the morning. I was refused. The lady at the front desk told me, “ the noise in not a good enough reason for you to move rooms” And the hotel bar smells like an ashtray. They allowed to smoke in the bar area. As you can imagine the smell travels all over the hotel lobby.

Excellent hotel- they just get everything right, even dealing with problems. At one point we were miscommunicated breakfast time but the staff were so fantastic at dealing with the problem by ensuring that we were looked after that it not only wasn’t a problem - it was turned into a big positive. They take customer service very seriously. Excellent experience all round - other hotels could learn a lot. Great food. Lovely location. And very quiet l. All round well done !

Very nice hotel. Was on a beautiful street. Close to restaurants and sights of the town. Room was quiet and comfortable. Was a very pleasant stay, just didn’t quite feel like a 5 star hotel.

Exceptional Service! Never disappoints extended stay or short stay. The staff is always very professional and makes you feel like you are the most important guest at their house. Location, Cleanliness, Rooms, and all facility is superb - 10 stars! I don't want to give them renews, so I can keep this hotel to myself when I need to book. But I leave their property in a very uplifted mood, so I have to share my experience with others.

Nothing in the hotel was very inviting when we arrived. Very quiet and sad. Arrived during a heat wave and our room’s a/c did not work the first night. We were told that there was no room to move into despite the fact online availability said there were 3 rooms available. More expensive then the other hotels in Riga…couldn’t understand the high ratings.

A very comfortable traditional styled hotel, perhaps more upmarket boutique than "grand", which suits its size and location well. Room and bathroom appeared to have been updated recently to good quality. Positive and helpful staff. Had an excellent dinner in the restaurant: if it can sustain that quality they shoud publicise it better. Minor niggle: would have liked a coffee maker in the room.

We had a room on the 5th floor which was quite dark and we were constantly having issues with the TV that was either not working or switching off Other than that, we had a pleasant stay. The hotel is very well located and the staff nice and friendly. Seasons, the gourmet restaurant is fabulous along with the bar next to it

Grand Hotel superb quality
Very grand Hotel and very luxurious! There is nothing the staff won't do to help :) Lovely big Bright airy room in fabulous location. Air conditioning wasn't working in original room but we got changed room immediately.

Lovely hotel in the historical part of Riga. Very warm welcome at check-in and a nice room with slippers, bathrobes, kettle etc. I had a very comfortable night's sleep. Breakfast was friendly and efficient too but the only criticism I have is that I would have preferred more non-meat choices and especially more than two cereal choices of bran flakes or granola. Omelette/scrambles eggs were made fresh to order though. Overall a great stay and I would come again!

Great location in the old town just steps away from bars and restaurants but without any noise. Excellent breakfast with plenty of good quality food and wide selection. Best thing about the hotel was the cleanliness. Room was absolutely spotless

The property was conventionally located in the old city and walkable to many restaurants, museums and attractions. The hotel was elegant, spotless and the staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room and bathroom was spacious and well appointed. The bed was especially comfortable.
