Very close to airport, hotelshuttle to airport 3-5 min. drive. (also very early > 4.30 a.m, Driver is waiting for you.) Got early breakfast and coffee as take away. Very good service.

Hotel is a short distance away from the airport. The pick-up shuttle was reasonably priced and easy to arrange; just drop the hotel an email and they will coordinate it for you. The staff I encountered was very welcoming, opening up the restaurant quickly when I mentioned that I was feeling hungry after a late-night flight. It's noteworthy as she was the only one manning the check-in desk then, so she had to do double duties. She still found time to converse with me and give me recommendations for a day trip the next day, which was highly commendable. The room itself is nothing much to go on about; a clean bad and a decent bathroom. The staff however made it more interesting than most of my other short stays, as I found the experience very personal and less detached than most mainstream hotels.

Overpriced, we were given a west facing room, temperature was 28c with no airconditioning. When quedtioned we were given a fan. Breakfast was average, not what we have experienced with Best Western. Courtesy transport to the airport was appreciated.

Pros: Free shuttle to the airport!, and hotel desk was always able to call me a Taxi when I needed one.
Cons: Difficult for pedestrians who are not brave to make it to local dining establishments on foot.
Location: It was close enough to grocery stores and places to eat, about a km on foot to get to the mall. Did not hear much road traffic from my room either.
Hotel was close to the airport and only costs a few lats to get a taxi. The hotel reception greeted me when I arrived and gave me the key to my room. The room was in decent condition for the price. The blankets had holes in them from what I can suspect cigarette burns at one time or another. The windows in my room provided me with a great view of the lawn that looked great when it snowed. The curtains were a bit ripped in places but they were still able to do the job. Breakfast was provided and consisted of meats, cheese, fruit, hard boiled eggs, occasional scrambled eggs, bread (and toaster), fish, crackers, and breakfast beverages. When agreeing on the price for the room, expedia for some reason of another was unable to add the 12% VAT into the price of the room. So each nights stay in the room was 12% more than what was listed on the website but could have been avoided by calling the hotel before booking the room. Overall not a bad stay.

Når vi kom inn på rommet ble vi møtt av en frykelig lukt, noe som viste seg å komme fra badet. Skikkelig kloakk lukt. I tillegg var det ikke dyne på sengen, ikke lys på badet osv. Fryktelig interiør på rommet. Eneste positive var gratis transport til flyplass på morgenen.
