The room was the largest I have ever stayed. The bathroom was very nice with a shower and a separate tub. The room was great. I would stay at this place in a heartbeat. Very efficient staff and very helpful. The only drawback was that the cocktails were VERY expensive. Two drinks were $40.

Especially in this department of our house we work exclusively with high quality products and are gladly willing to pay a higher purchase price for the quality. Many components of our cocktails & long drinks, such as our syrups, are homemade and come from regional producers. We think that our prices (e.g. Mojito, 9,50 € / Moskow Mule 10,50 € / Schumans Mai Tai 13,50 €) are fair and reasonable here. This is absolutely a 5 star hotel. The room was beautiful, the amenities such as spa and pool were excellent. The hotel was modern and eco friendly. They even emailed me about a plug i left. Excellent Hotel.

Lovely property, good amenities. If booking in hot weather, ask for room on lower floors where ac is not as needed. Upper floor stifling hot but cooled off at night.

Lovely hotel annexe we stayed in and so glad we picked that as wedding taking place in main hotel and seemed to be in all communal areas, Sûre it was noisy at night too, the annexe was a street away but very clean with good services in room, good to have a reasonable priced fridge assortment available.

Great hotel! Totally enjoyed my stay :-)
Great hotel! Super friendly staff & check-in, enjoyed a wonderful superior suite - nice & spacious, sweet amenities like the coffee maker / water kettle / toaster (fridge, of course), but most of all it was designed & decorated with taste, and the bed was super super comfy!! Modern bathroom as well. Could have stayed much longer and make it my personal retreat ;-). Breakfast was really plentiful (& healthy options) as well, I also enjoyed the sauna and a beautiful little dish in the restaurant (or 'lounge' the other day, but a very nice one!). Staff is very professional & service oriented (not that common in Germany, I find), so overall really good. Just that it's in a bit of an industrial looking area, however, the 'village' center is 5 minutes away, and it's real close to everything: Autobahn, downtown Mainz, other restaurants & shops. Total recommendation!

So nice!
This is such a great hotel! Friendly welcome, great room I had (superior apartment, yes I spent more, but it was exquisite!), such a comfy bed and very nice interior; not exactly a kitchenette, but Nespresso machine / water kettle / toaster appreciated; nice balcony (even if a little cold in style with the metal bars...). Enjoyed the steam bath/sauna and fitness club (cooperation, half a block walking) and slept soo well. Will definitely come back! Thanks!!

The one night stay was upgraded to a suite, free-of-charge. The room has a Hollywood chic decor with 2 TV's, large closet, sofa, sitting chairs, and king bed. The layout of the room was uncomfortable because the shower was exposed to the bedroom where our son slept on a rollaway bed. The electronic controls probably were convenient for someone who is fluent in German, but entirely confusing for an American. The nightstand lights could never be turned on. The biggest problem was the lack of air conditioning even though this was promised at check-in.

Quiet location and nice apartment
It's the third year we are staying at this hotel and then the third time. We all the time choose this hotel because of its location, it's easy to find, it's in a quiet area but also for the safe and free parking places. We all the time stay in one of their apartments which are located something like 200 meters from the hotel, in another street and it has its own private parking. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable as usual. There was free and fast Wi-Fi, a minibar, TV with international channels, a DVD player, a nice balcony with outdoor furniture and view to the fields, air conditioning, a large bathroom, a Nespresso coffee machine with free capsules but also a kettle with free tea. Our sleeping was very good. In the main building, there is a Spa with different types of saunas and a swimming pool which is perfect to relax after a long day spent on the motorways. The restaurant is very good and the breakfast was perfect for us. There are several buffet tables with a large choice of fresh and quality food. I really recommend this hotel, especially the apartment if you don't mind to walk. We will definitely come back next year!

Nice Hotel pity about the location
We stayed at the Residenz which is a self-catering capable block about 300 yards from the hotel. There is at least one supermarket within 500 yards to get supplies. Room was great. We didnt have much to do with the hotel as such but the staff were great when we needed help. The only downside is the location of the hotel. Its in a commercial district on the western side of Mainz. We found road access to Mainz and/or Frankfurt rather busy. The Autobahn were solid during morning and evening rush hour periods

Watch out for bed bugs!
The hotel is in a beautiful location and main building is a nice one with some nice rooms (I have stayed there before). However, they also have some rooms in a close by building and that one is an absolute disaster. The first room they put me in had bed bugs!!! and when I complained to the reception and asked for my room to be changed immediately and the issue to be addressed, they were super unfriendly and unhelpful and acted as if I am complaining about something insignificant. They only agreed to change my room when I threaten to report the issue to the health authorities. And although I insisted that they should address the issue by asking a professional agency to deal with it, they sent one of the cleaning staff to vacuum the room and make it ready for the next guest!! I really hope they address this immediately, otherwise, this will create a great problem for the guests as bed bugs can get out of control quite quickly.

Dear Guest, with great astonishment we have read your feedback. It goes without saying that our guests' well-being is our most important concern. Therefore, we looked at the incident exactly again, spoke with our colleagues of the reception and our executive housekeeper. First of all, we regret it very much that an unprofessional impression was created at you front office visit in the evening. This of course does not correspond to our service idea. After the switch, the room was thoroughly checked by our housekeeping. At the next morning, we ordered a professional company to examine the mattress on the bedbugs you described. In both cases nothing has been established. We would like to point out that all mattresses (in the main building and in our residence) are professionally cleaned every half year. This is exactly captured in written and certified. You can be assured that our mattresses are definitely not about bedbugs or something similar. We are assuming that maybe something from outside has entered the room in fact our residence is located directly in front of the nature reserve. Quiet residence
It was the second time we stayed in this hotel. We were on the residence side, at 300 meters from the main hotel building. It was very quiet with a private parking. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the spa inside the hotel. There are different types of saunas and a nice swimming-pool. The restaurant was perfect and the buffet breakfast was excellent.

Fabulous hotel
Fantastic hotel, huge, modern everything you need lovely staff. I originally booked a delux annex apartment room which was the biggest room I've ever had with full cooking facilities equally as good if not better than the hotel rooms with a balcony. But the short walk from the main hotel made it not as desirable especially in the winter. The annex would have been great in the summer and with a family for a self catering stay. The down side was that there was nothing around except a bus into Mainz which is cheap and quick

Very nice and big apartment
We stayed in one of their apartment which is located at 200m from the main building. The room was very big with a lot of equipment like an espresso machine, a toaster, a fridge, a micro-wave, and ironing table + iron,.... It was very quiet and the free parking place was closed and safe. The spa in the main building was nice and relaxing. The breakfast was excellent, a large choice of food.
