Pros: The breakfast was good. Cons: Very small bathroom. Could barely fit on toilet and close the door. This hotel has stairs only. No elevators. You have to haul your stuff up to the second floor. They don't automatically clean your room and restock toilet paper everyday like most hotels do. I caught an employee walking down the hallway and asked for some kleenex and toilet paper. SureStay over charged me for my stay. I stayed two days and got charged for three days. I called to clear it up and was told they would take care of it, only to find the same overcharge on my bank statement. I would not recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay. The only thing we wish we had was an elevator because of luggage on the 2 nd floor but it’s not a deal breaker for us.

Wood floors in room. Nice updated hotel. Good breakfast. Quiet. Night light offered in room-good for kids. Fridge and microwave came in handy. Free upgraded room was nice. There is no elevator in the two story hotel.

Newly remodeled, but noisy
I stayed here for 2 nights. I guess it used to be a Motel 6 or super 8 or something like that. First for the Pro's. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The furnishings were adequate and athletically pleasing. Now the cons. The breakfast was marginal at best. My son and I got to the breakfast about 30 minutes before it closed and they were out of about everything. They had sausage patties or you could get some cereal or make a pancake or waffle. No eggs, toast, yogurt, bagels or much of anything else. That was true for both mornings we were there. On my last day, after looking at the breakfast, we just decided to go somewhere else. The worst thing about this hotel was the noise! I think the walls are made of paper. I could hear 2 different TV's from other rooms and anything that happened in the halls. Both mornings at 6:00 some idiot was using the ice machine for 15 minutes at a time and you could hear every cube of ice fall. I really find it hard to express how noisy it really was. I travel a lot for work and I can't remember a worse hotel when it came to the noise. I really try to be objective on these reviews, and admittedly the hotel was completely full the nights I was there, but I've never quite experienced anything like the noise I experienced here.

Everything was 100% satisfactory and pleasant, except the beds and bedding. Both th beds and bedding were rather hard, stiff, and uncomfortable. Other than that though, it was aesthetically pleasing, pool area was immaculate, and staff was very friendly and comfortable.

I’m sad I still have to stay here another night!
The bed is a slab of cement. The throw pillows are a joke to sleep on. We couldn’t put our grandson down on the floor because it turned his feet and clothes black. You can’t walk in the vinyl floor without shoes the bathroom is so small I feel like I’m in a gas station stall. I just don’t think they want you to come back. The front desk are the sweetest and accommodating. But if they can’t bring in a rug or new bed your one nights sleep is a waist. Just keep on driving. You will not sleep.

This is the first and last time that I stay in this hotel. They charge fees for everything!!! They charge $60 for two tiny dogs. Hold me plus $60 for safe deposit. After leave the hotel, I just have money for gas to come back home. I did not find nothing in the app about extra fees. American inn never charge me nothing for my tiny dogs and never charge me safe deposit. Also could not have accessible room due my dogs. Very disappointed with surestay hotel. Now I now the reason that this hotel is always empty.

The hot tub was out of order. My toilet in room 119 ran constantly, there were a few ants. The staff was friendly and everything otherwise seemed clean.

I loved the "wood" floors. It made the room feel very clean. No dirty stained carpet. Breakfast had lots of different options, including things my gluten free daughter could eat. I would definitely stay here again.

I was impressed over all with my stay at sure stay but one thing sticks out. the pillows! those pillow were hard as a rock like sleeping on a brick. how about putting some softer pillows as well as hard one in the rooms after all there are 8 pillows in the room i had.
