The hotel was very comfortable and the staff very friendly. Parking is a bit pricey at €13 per night when the De Gaulle public car park 2 mins walk away is €4 for 24 hrs. Good breakfast and dinner in the restaurant - menu du jour is good value. House wine was excellent.

Great welcome and perfect for a pre-Christmas trip
The reception staff were super welcoming and friendly. The free parking under the hotel was really convenient and easy to navigate. Great breakfast buffet too. We came for Christmas markets and it was just a short walk to the cathedral and then through the historic streets to the market.

Good for short stay
We were passing through Reims. The hotel served its purpose for a one night stay. It was clean and comfortable enough.

Lovely large room with a massive, comfortable bed. Secure parking is great. Lovely receptionist- very engaging. Easy walk into the city centre and the beautiful cathedral.

Ive been staying in this hotel occasionally for several years to be honest it has gone down over the years, but i think this was the worst stay ever. the towels were worn thin, the bath area was dirty and had meldew and its getting expensive. every time i stay here the price goes up and at 11euros a pint my friend who had a different room walked in to find water flowing out of the ceiling but they wouldnt give him a different room once i would of highly recommended this place but now i doubt

Nice hotel 10 minutes walk from Cathedral in Reims. Parking and breakfast is extra. But breakfast was good. Like many hotels we tried, AC present but not working. Shower was slippery.

The room was extremely dirty, with old hairballs on the bathroom floor, hair in the bedsheets and the floors and corners looked like it hadn't been cleaned properly. It was uncomfortable to stay in a place that untidy. Basic amenities were not provided, and the receptionist did not understand what body lotion was, let alone being able to supply me with any. They also struggled to inform us what was open on a Sunday and didn't seem to be well informed about the local area - we had to rely on Google. the location was away from the quaintness of the town, so you didn't feel the charm of Reims on their road - overall disappointing and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Warm comfortable room with huge bed
Easy to park car underneath and the check in was quick and easy. The room was warm, comfortable large bed and bathroom was very well equipped. Lovely overhead rain shower. So nice to have coffee/tea making facilities and a fridge. Lovely breakfast with lots of choices.,

Good Position
Good position near Reims town centre. Access by car was complicated but my sat nav just about sorted it. Cars need a French Clean Air certificate for this part of town. Hotel was very comfortable and very friendly, accommodating our dog with no problems. On the continent well behaved dogs are allowed in dining areas so breakfast was easy.

Another successful stay at Mercure Reims Cathedral
We’ve stayed at this hotel several times. The staff are helpful & efficient. The privilege room was clean & comfort although a bit small. The restaurant for both dinner & breakfast was good - food was really pleasant & the service was efficient.

Perfect if you are coming to see a game at the stadium. Quick bike ride to town or wineries. Bikes to rent on site.

A little dated, but simple basic stay
This hotel is showing it's age, a little run down and past it's heyday. A few mistakes were made by the staff in the bar and restaurant, and service was a little thin at times. The front desk was well supported and provided great service. Easy walk to the Cathedral and main streets.

Within walking distance of the city centre, beware if you have an SUV and roofbox you might not fit into the underground car park - staff said we should be OK now have huge scratch on roof box top

Great overall, but restaurant busy for evening meal and not enough staff. Had to ask several times for a second glass of wine and then were charged 3 times for it. A breakdown of dinner charges was not readily available when checking out, and should be as extra’s are not signed for at the time.
