I let the front desk know the toilet bowl under rim needed cleaned and she immediately pulled out a requisition to take care of it. Otherwise perfect

The lack of housekeeping staff and daily room service is obvious. Lots of bugs, dead and alive, in the room. Was never asked if we wanted or needed housekeeping.

I find it interesting that you won't approve this review even though it does not violate any of the guidelines you mention. Maybe time for me to stop using Expedia as you have shown you do not provide adequate customer care. Expedia made the check in process a nightmare by not forwarding the reservation to the hotel. Expedia then did not answer phone calls from hotel trying to unravel the problem. The desk clerk did her best to try to contact Expedia at several different numbers to figure out the issue. Nice property and no issues with it.

Iowa stop
Hotel was clean and comfortable, aside from no shower mat and the shower making a very loud noise the stay was well received. Room #321 shower is very loud.

NO POOL
It is listed as having a pool. The staff said there hasn’t been a pool in a year or better. This is why we came to this hotel. This needs to be removed from the offer. Very disappointing.

Teresa was working the day of check-in, and she was so cordial and helpful. Went out of her way to accommodate my stay. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable.

There wasn't any housekeeping for the weekend. We stayed there two nights which was expensive to not being given that service. Other than that it was nice and a very nice breakfast.

Pool closed need points or refund
The pool was closed. For the price of my stay I should of been able to use the pool. I would of liked some kind of reward points or something for that. They told me it hasn’t been open since February and it doesn’t say that on site.

The lady at the breakfast buffet is such a friendly and hard working person. She makes sure everyone is satisfied and makes sure are comfortable. She is a great Asset to your company.

I asked for a first floor room or a 2nd floor room close to the stairs. We were given a room exactly in the middle of the 2nd floor, as far away as possible from both sets of stairs. Breakfast was OK; needed variety like biscuits and gravy in addition to the waffle.

Not perfect, but good enough!
The room itself was pleasant enough. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good enough and had a decent amount of variety. The hotel itself wasn't the cleanest hotel at which I've stayed (the fitness center didn't have any clean-off spray and the water dispenser didn't have any cups, my bathroom shower had a few spots, etc.). The front desk clerk informed me they had to wait until THE MIDDLE OF JANUARY to turn the heat on in the public areas, which I found very odd for a hotel in Iowa. But overall, I had a nice stay.

Nice property. Well kept appearance. Room nice. One blackout shade torn. Jacuzzi not working for 3 months. One of the reasons for selecting the motel. Breakfast was very nice-lot of selection. WIFI was spotty in connection.

Room was clean and hotel was very pet friendly with a nice area to walk them and they gave us a ground floor room right by the door for easy night time potty breaks.

Great place to stay
Everything was really clean. We did have to ask for soap when we went to room. Cleaning staff forgot to leave soap. Other than that everything was fine.
