Resort was beautiful. Beautiful animals everywhere (Iguanas, Flamingos, Peacocks, Turtles, Ducks, and more). 24-hour Sports bar with lots of Flatscreen TV's, and games. Bowling, etc. The food was 0 out of 10. The service was worse. Its a nice place but I guarantee you wont like the food. None of it.

I paid for a superior room didn’t get was put in the tropical section . Didn’t get transportation code had to pay extra cash both ways for cabs to and from airport . Which was very stressful and used our us cash we had to spend . No money in atm machine at hotel . No towels and face clothes on a regular bases . Had to fight for them and the hotel had to send notes everyday in our room . I want a rebate for the stress and expensive we had to occur during our stay

No doubt the best vacation we’ve ever taken. Highly, highly recommend upgrading to the platinum package so you get access to the upgraded dining options, and private beach area. It is $40 a day and they treat you like royalty! The resort is meticulously clean, and every bathroom and restaurant, etc. is spotless. The staff are so friendly and never ask for tips, but they work so hard and are so deserving. The food is fantastic! My husband and I have dined at some of the best Michelin restaurants in the world, and the food here is comparable. That being said, we ate at La Cava and the Platinum club restaurants which are only included in the platinum restaurant. The only downside I would say, is having people trying to sell things up and down the beach or on the resort. The Royal Holiday Vacation Club was rather annoying (in the navy pants and pink shirts). Other than that- everything about this resort is amazing. The water is crystal blue with small waves, and the beach is white sand- truly paradise. We don’t want to leave!! We will recommend Caribe Deluxe Princess to everyone and we cannot wait to return! Martin, Agustin and the staff at the Platinum club are amazing!! You made our trip unforgettable and we will be forever grateful.

Pro’s; Beautiful lobby & grounds Great entertainment in the evenings at front lobby Tram rides from rooms to lobby run often! Beautiful, clean pools/beach area Friendly staff- mostly Great evenings shows in theatre Fun poolside/beachside entertainment Food in restaurants were good- get reservations upon arrival to resort, they book up fast. Con’s: Our friends did not receive (pre paid) ocean view room upon check in, however, they were offered, for an upgrade charge, to get it the following night. First flush and toilet overflowed Shower head broken Small toilet closet with toilet installed sideways, so you couldn’t sit on it straight, had to sit sideways to use it or knees hit the wall (and I’m short). Part of room floor flooded (on second floor) during a rain storm as water gushed in from under the door. Tile floors VERY slippery. Friend slipped and fell on damp floor down the two steps in room, got injured, spent 3 horrible days in local hospital. On site medic wouldn’t even access her without US cash up front. Safe did not work- got fixed with staff help Room phone did not work to call out. Food buffets were average, but clean and well kept. Keep an eye out for the hungry black birds and roaming cats. Fridge in room was warm, staff could not get it turned up. Glass carafe in coffee pot was broken upon arrival- staff got it replaced. Towel guy would not allow 1 person to exchange all 6 towels in our group.

it was hard to get an appointment on line on the a la carte restaurant. its always full. We got tired of the subpar food in the buffet and same thing everyday. The crew were great, and the place was maintained well. Our room is renovated with good water pressure. air con is controlled, room not cold and place full of mosquitoes. I enjoyed the environment with iguana, peacock, duck, turtles. around the resort.

This is an amazing resort. My family loved this resort. The rooms are lovely. The pools and beaches are incredible. The staff is wonderful. The food is great and many options. The on site amenities are lovely. My children loved hands feeding the iguanas, ducks, flamingos and peacocks on site. Though busy, noise was never an issue. There’s lots of great music and entertainment. Highly recommend.

I really wanted to like this property. There were definitely positives and negatives, but the negativies held more weight, especially in light of the fact that there are many other resort options in the DR. Pros: -Beautiful beach -Beautiful ocean -Friendly staff (front desk manager aside) -Beautiful resort grounds -Tasty, strong drinks Cons: -Musty, damp rooms (sheets with mold, mildew smelling pillows) -Power issues (lost power in wing of building 3 nights in a row due to 2 seperate rooms running hair dryer, flat iron, iron at same time) -Difficult to get new bath towels, hand towels and never washclothes -Shower water ran under glass wall to toilet and sink area and no floor mats. -Unplesant front desk manager, Staci. We stayed in a family suite with the bunk beds. The biggest issues for us were the damp rooms (always smelled damp, but got better with AC and fan always on), difficulty getting towels (never got floor mats or washclothes), but the cherry on top was losing power 3 nights in a row while trying to get ready for dinner and the front desk manger, Staci giving us the run around about not being able to compensate us for having to take hours out of our day 3 days in a row to get power restored. Because of how she handled our situation we will not be back. Her customer service was disappointing. Again, wait and bar staff were awesome. Francesa at the buffet and beach bar is a gem. Drinks were good and strong and food was hit or miss. Beach was perfection!

The facility seemed under staffed. Everyone was very nice, but dirty dishes piled up in the restaurants, it took a long time to get a drink at the bar, it was hard to get a beverage at a meal, and sometimes what was ordered was not delivered at all. There is no pool service. The temperature control in the rooms did not always work.

La desorganización en el buffet y en el restaurante dominicano nos impresiono, difícil en conseguir mesa, hubieron un par de veces que comimos y las bebidas no llegaron, las mesas sucias, no utensilios para comer. También me llamó mucho la atención que en el área del lobby vimos ratones. La vista de mi cuarto estaba impedida por una lona que daba a una construcción enseguida de este resort. Las comodidades del cuarto fueron buenas pero los cuartos los limpian día de por medio. El área de la piscina si es muy agradable y el entretenimiento me pareció bueno.

The caribe deluxe resort was amazing but unfortunately the food wasn’t at all as expected, food quality was terrible and the options were very limited due to the high occupancy rate , special dinner restaurants that required reservation weren’t much different really very poor quality of food everywhere, service was great , staff was very friendly and welcoming, very very clean and unique resort but food issue must be upgraded no doubt.

This place is a joke. I have been in so many places but this one is the worst one. Rooms are dirty and smells disgusting, pain extra money to upgrade to platinum and didn’t get any better, food horrible, food horrible, customer service horribly rude. Don’t go to this place. The only person who was nice and 5 star is Nina from the Customer service.

Generally a lovely place to stay. Very clean rooms beautiful cared for grounds, lovely beach. Good for families. Differences in quality in on site restaurants but overall, food is good. We had a great vacation here.

This place was clean, modern, and a treat to enjoy the early beach season. An added treat was great service and accomodations at the a la carte restaurants for dinner and walking past interesting animals on the pathways from flamingos to iguanas and peacocks.
