The hotel is ok, clean. Is a bit far away from the center and there are limited to none amenities. The staff was cordial. However during our last night we had a situation. We were leaving early during the morning, therefore we went to pay our room and the restaurant charges. We went to sleep and at 9:30pm we received a call from front desk saying there was a charge left and we had to go to the front desk to pay it asap. The math didn’t add up. We went and as expected the charges left belong to another room. We received no apology. That situation left a bitter note at the end.

Nice breakfast, good soups, and drinks in the hotel restaurant. Comfortable room. Very pleasant view from my room across the huge marsh. Friendly, helpful, staff.

Nice hotel / good value
Nice hotel, very friendly and helpfull staff. Room was excellent. Restaurant was a bit overpriced for the quality of food that i got, but i base this only on limited information of one steak dinner, pizzas on other tables looked pretty decent.

I travel a lot, I am a platinum Expedia member. They should know who is staying in their hotel and treat them accordingly. I asked for a refrigerator and the room I got did not have a refrigerator. They said I can just leave my water and my Coca-Cola downstairs in there for refrigerator. Who wants to go downstairs in the middle of the night when you’re thirsty ??? Not me!!!

Good evening,In our hotel we offer two types of rooms, standard and superior, all the superior rooms are with refrigetors and standard without, your reservation was made for a single standard room, when you arrived to the hotel we gave you a superior room like up grade free, but you asked a room with one big bed, is the reason that the recepcionist changed you in a standard room without refrigerator, sorry for don't explain you this at that moment, next time we will have more attention with this requests.Best regards,Lucia PeñaManager of Xima Exclusive Hotel Puno

I asked for an upgrade, and I got a room with a queen bed. I called the front desk to see if they can switch me to another room and they switch me to a room with the floor messed up. I had some drinks that I needed cold, and I noticed I did not have a refrigerator, and when I asked if they can bring one from the other room, they said no. They told me they can put it downstairs in the refrigerator. Who wants to go downstairs in the middle of the night when you want a drink of water?? Not me!!

Place was quite far from the center. It was cold and very noisy. People where shouting and cars honking right in front of the main entrance in the early morning hours. The room was supposed to have lake views; but the views are not great.

Puno/Lake Titicaca
We visited the city of Puno so we can visit the islands of Uros, Amantani, and Taquile. The hotel is about 10 to 15 minutes from the port. The staff was very friendy and the hotel is very nice.

Customer service was great. Hotel has modern look. When i stayed looks like they were remodeling and improving some areas so i believe it would be much better. But none of that bother me. Everything was great

Next to water, beautiful views and an easy walk to other hotels with nicer restaurants/facilities. Staff was very accomodating and friendly. The place looks like an old motel. Entrance under construction, hallway is tired and old.

We were very happy with our stay at Xima Puno. It was exactly what we needed for our base to explore Lake Titicaca. The room was very quiet, clean and well presented. Staff was super friendly. The breakfasts and hotel retaurant were excellent!

Good hotel, over priced restaurant
Hotel is lovely although it is just out of town and you need to get a taxi to other places. The hotel takes advantage of this in their pricing in the restaurant and charging around four times the amount for drinking water.

Very very basic Hotel. Not a nice experience...
Average Hotel 2 star service. 2 star breakfast and restaurant.. Even charges for water.. Rooms very very old and basic. Staff borders on being rude most of time!!! Must take taxi to go anywhere. Out of the way location... No real good reason to stay at this hotel. Many other better choices in town for better price and better service and food!!!! You have to beg the staff for anything you need. Terrible experience at this Hotel!!!

Far far away from the town I booked this hotel for the location, expecting to get beautiful lake views in a peaceful location away from the traffic. In reality there were no views, the location was traffic free, but the hotel was noisy inside. My room (101) was directly next to reception and the restaurant, so earplugs are essential as the restaurant noise only subsides from 10pm to 5am. My room was airless - couldn't open the window, and no a/c or fan. The restaurant staff were exceptionally helpful and of a high-service level, in particular David, who speaks very good English.

The staff were very friendly at the XIAM Hotel. We were to have to twin beds and instead we received 3 double beds. When we mentioned it to the staff the next day they removed one of the double beds for us without us even asking. The view of the lake was great. The restaraunt food was good and they accomodated my wife's dietary needs.

Great stay!
Hotel staff is very friendly and service oriented. Thank you to all of them! Mery was very helpful finding tours, local activities, and even personal requests that she went beyond my expectations to help with. The hotel is clean, beds are very comfortable, food is good, the breakfast room displays Llamas in the background which are really cute. The rooms have window benches where you can enjoy the nice lake views. The surroundings are a little isolated from the city and quiet but it was just what I needed for my relaxing vacations. Just 10 minutes away from the city busy streets but local taxis are cheap.

Good but not great
The room was very spacious and the bed was of high quality. Our room was cold even with the electric space heater. The bathroom was VERY cold! The shower leaked due to poor design. There was a small tub but somehow it did not capture the the shower water well, instead the water ran along the sides and onto the floor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They tried to be special by making towel animals for the bed, leaving notes, and helping plan tours, etc. The breakfast buffet was wonderful & included in the price. The lobby was nice and had a cozy section with a fireplace. They also offered free teas and coca tea for altitude relief. The hotel is a bit out of the way so we thought it would be peaceful. Sorry! The was a railroad nearby and trains blew their whistles all night, even 3AM! The 2nd morning a motorbike taxi woke us with loud techno music at 6:30am. Overall is was adequate. The room was clean, the bed was nice and the people were friendly. I'll let you decide if the issues mentioned would ruin your stay or not.

Excellent all round
Everything was bright and clean, with very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast included, was excellent, and with this starting at 5am, ensured that the early day trips were easy to meet. The location is slightly out of town, which made it very quiet.. Although the Taxi into town was only 10 Soles and about 10 minutes to the main plaza, which the receptionist was more than happy to arrange. The facilities were good and the shower was powerful with plenty of constant hot water. The room had no towels at first, but after a quick call to reception, these were immediately bought up. Still warm. Over all an excellent experience at a very reasonable price.

Eco Inn ~ comfort by the lake
Our stay at Eco Inn was very brief. We arrived late and left early. We had to see a Doctor urgently and it was arranged within 30 minutes of the request. The bed mattress and pillows were very comfortable and breakfast had a wide range of items to choose from you. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definately recommend a stay at the hotel.

The hotel is located 10 min from the port and downtown. breakfast included, it was really good. the rooms are confortable and the shower alway got hot water.

Beautiful surrounding
Although It is located out of the center of Puno, It is easy to reach by cab. The surrounding is beautiful, right next to titicaca lake. If any suggestion, I wish the staffs English ability can be better considering this is kind of big chain hotel in Peru.

The food at the hotel was fantastic! The hotel was on the outskirts of town so you have to cab everywhere, however taxis are cheap and tuk tuks are even cheaper. A cab ride into town is only about $3 US. Also, in the event you need it, the hotel has oxygen and the first 10 minutes are free.

Great Location
This hotel is about 10 minutes out of Puno on a reserve at the edge of Lake Titicaca. Wonderful quiet location. About $2 or $3 US in a taxi to town or much less for a collectivos ( local Bus). Great buffet breakfast and nice restaurant with out look to the hotels llamas who watch you while your watching them. The rooms have heaters, comfortable beds and are very clean. There is complementary hot coco leaf tea and a fireplace to sit and enjoy it after a hard day touring. The staff are very helpful and have a fair grasp on English. Good value hotel.

Eco Inn Puno
I liked that it was away from the noise and bustle of Puno; right on the marshlands of Titicaca, great sunrises. And the restaurant was very good, with a nice glass veranda. Especially inviting were the comfy bay windows in each room that allowed you to feel like you were outside while still enjoying the comforts of the room.

This hotel is away from the center of town, which is what I was looking for in Puno. A taxi to the Plaza de Armas only costs 7 soles, so it is inexpensive to get back and forth. The restaurant at the hotel is not good, however. The food is not great, and everything on the menu is overpriced. (Perhaps because there are no other restaurants in walking distance for dinner...). In addition, the service at the restaurant was horrible. Other than the food, however, the rooms were large and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel, just go elsewhere for food.

Lakeside pleasant experience
The hotel is relatively new. Building is simple, but practical and easy to move around. The location could not get any better, at the rim of Lake Titicaca. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist Mery, who is able to give valuable advice on every aspect of your visit to Puno. The restaurant is also top quality.

Pour voyageurs avec voiture c’est un bon endroit car il permet d’éviter la cohue de Puno. Les taxis et collectivos passent régulièrement et le tarif pour se rendre à Puno est de 1 à 10 soles selon le transport choisi. Autrement, les environs de l’hôtel n’ont rien d’attrayants. Le restaurant de l’hôtel est bon et offre une variété de plats tant péruviens qu’international. L’isolation des murs entre les chambres est inexistant. On entend tout ce qui se passe dans les chambres voisines.
