Close to the beach
Hotel Volcano is in a great location close to shopping, food, and the beach. We had a lovely stay here and the included breakfast was great. We had some difficulty booking from outside the country though. Even through I booked through hotels.com, they made me call and pay with my card by phone which I didn’t feel comfortable with. In the end everything worked out but I booked through hotels.com to avoid putting my card info out there.

The hotel was cloae to everything. They do a good job of keeping everything very clean. It was a good deal and nice to have the pool to relax by.

Great stay but a hiccup
Great stay and friendly staff however I did have one hiccup. I got the correct charge on my credit card for three nights, but also have an extra $60 charge that I don’t.understand where it came from. Tried contacting them via email and have not heard back.

Very comfortable hotel with wonderful beach view
This is a very nice hotel which is conveniently located to restaurants and shops as while as the beach. The air conditioning was a plus for very hot days, but the windows and beach views were wonderful. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return.

Receptionist, Elizabeth, was amazing. They offered cool towels & juice upon arrival. Room was very clean, quiet, good a/c. Free breakfast included everyday, they even packed a to-go breakfast on our last day as we left before breakfast started. Good location within walking distance to everything.

Goods and bads
Wonderful, warm welcome by Sofia, who gave us good tips and helped with some special requests. Less impressed by the boy at reception the day after, who scolded us for using their cold towels to freshen up. Room well appointed but noisy from the cooling units outside our window. Overall was expecting more for the price paid (90$)

The view was incredible, and the reception and kitchen staff were so helpful and friendly and polite. The rooms are as lovely as they look in the management pictures. And the location is good too!!

Nice Hotel
This hotel was the best hotel I stayed at on my whole trip. Everything was great except no wifi on my floor. When I arrived, I was told there was only wifi on the first and second floor. My room was on the third floor. The wifi in the hotel is really bad although after talking to others, wifi is just bad on the islands. The staff were very friendly and the view from my room was great (pic below). The breakfast was good and the staff was concerned that I would miss breakfast on my last day so they packed a breakfast for me to go and had it waiting for me when I left at 5 AM. The location was great too.

It was extremely close to the beach, which was excellent for convenience, and the staff was quite helpful. However, it was not as clean or high quality as other hotels in the Galapagos.

Good hotel on Isabela Island, at the opposite end of town from the airport so close to beach and walks. Great staff, all friendly and helpful. Good breakfast.

Beautiful!
Hotel Volcano is a beautiful property in Isabela. The hotel is located just outside of the main road, with a beach about 1/16 mile away. The staff is lovely, especially the kitchen staff. Very friendly and service oriented. The rooms are bright and airy. I would love to go back.

New hotel on main drag
Close to everywhere in Puerto Villamil, right across the road from the beach. Easy pickup for tours and taxi to the ferry.

New clean hotel close to the beach.
The staff is very helpful and the hotel is very upscale compared to the rest of the island. A very good experience and excellent breakfast is included also.

Super clean in a great location.
A great place on Isabela. In a good location, the staff is very accommodating and our every need was met. Breakfast was very good and filling. I would stay here again any day. Thanks for the special treatment Becky.

Beautiful hotel by the beach
Everything about the hotel was amazing. Started with very friendly staff who spoke very good English. Hotel is directly across the street from the beach and a beach bar. Within walking distance of all the restaurants and shops. Can rent bikes to explore the island which us just a block away. A must stay!

Nice hotel near the beach, close to town.
Booked the day before arrival. Room was reserved, although there was some slight confusion about payment and booking that was eventually sorted out. Staff were helpful. Room was very nice -- newly renovated.

Great place to stay on Isabella
Wonderful service: worried that the tour bus was late and the woman on reception sorted it out for us. The next morning breakfast was arranged so we could have something to eat before the early morning tour. Fantastic shower and bed too. Easy to find, keep on walking from the boat and you'll find it on your right.

Bien situé, grande chambre avec belle vue, bon déjeuner. Les employés étaient gentils et serviables mais ils étaient peu présents. Il est rare de voir quelqu’un à la réception.

Virkelig venlig og god service. Vi fik fx lov til at have al bagage stående OG lov til at bruge hotellets håndklæder, bade- og opholdsfaciliteter efter checkout, så vi kunne snorkle på stranden.

Excellent staff okay hotel
The staff was excellent but the hotel itself is in a bad condition and not as shown on the pictures. For this price I would have expected way more! The stay was only bearable because Elizabeth and Alex were terrific!

A nice hotel of high standards for Isabela. We extended our stay, so we stayed in two different rooms.In one of the rooms there was a lot of ants. Besides from that the rooms were clean and modern.

Amamos nossa estadia no hotel Volcano! Quarto ótimo e confortável, limpeza impecável, café da manhã delicioso e o melhor de tudo... os funcionários matavilhosos! Nos sentimos muito acolhidos por todos. As cozinheiras são muito detalhistas, cuidadosas e prestativas; o gerente muito atencioso, amigável e prestativo; as recepcionistas também sempre muito atenciosas e prestativas, principalmente a Sofia que nos orientou sobre passeios, restaurantes, ligou para confirmar o táxi para nossa partida, providenciou café da manhã para levarmos... enfim, esse tratamento faz toda a diferença e fez da nossa viagem ainda melhor. Skønt hotel lige ved stranden
Det var en fantastisk oplevelse. Personalet gjorde alt for at vi skulle føle os godt tilpas. De skaffede os en adapter og vi fik lov til at tjekke ud flere timer senere end det angivne. Vi kan klart anbefale hotellet!
