Very nice hotel right on the beach, and in an excellent area. I've been on famous beaches in Florida, California, Hawaii, France, and Italy. This has been my favorite. The white-sand beach is gradual. The water temperature is perfect. And the marine iguanas are amazing. Breakfast was good, too. Eggs made too taste and other hot foods (e.g., French toast). This hotel earns five stars, plus, from me.

Fantastic view! People were very nice and were glad to help when you had questions. It is close to everything but just far enough away so as not to be right in the middle of everything. Rooms weren’t huge but had what you needed. The bed was comfortable. It would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room but they did install a beer and beverage fridge in the lobby on the second last day of our stay. The hotel is quite small so noise is not a problem. The breakfast in the morning is on a rooftop deck and was very good. This was a great place to spend 4 nights.

We loved the Cormorant Beach House! Our room with balcony was so comfortable, and we really enjoyed reading on the balcony. The staff is amazing. Front desk even offered us a late check out until our flight. The ladies at breakfast were also friendly and accommodating. If there was a score greater than “Excellent” Cormorant Beach House would get it!

Loved it there. Clean rooms, helpful concierge that arranges tours cheaper than advertised online. His name was Estalin. Great views from rooms and breakfast at the roof deck. Beach at your footsteps.

Fantastic property - absolute beach front. Walk out if reception onto a beautiful beach. Great room right in beach, clean, friendly and very helpful staff. Looked at other beachfront properties during stay and none had the absolute beach frontage of Cormorant. Cannot recommend enough- best spot on Isabella and hotel lovely

This hotel has a great location and view. The Staff are very friendly and provide a great service. The only reason I will give this hotel 1 star is because everything is great as long as you don't have any issues, concerns or emergencies (like in my case). I paid for 4 nights, however, I had a family emergency and I needed to leave the island on the third night. I requested to see if I could get a refund for the night/day I wasn't going to stay (28 hrs in advance), but the Manager (Michelle, who doesn't even live in the island) declined it because I needed to give them a 72 hrs notice. Well, I wish my family emergency would also give me a 72 hrs notice so I can plan my life accordingly. The hotel wasn't even full, maybe 3 or 4 more rooms were full, so I'm guessing they simply didn't want to give me a refund because they didn't want to loose money. We left and I will not recommend this place because they are not willing to help during difficult times.

We loved our beachfront room. Thoughtfully furnished with luggage racks, cupboards, shelving, hooks etc The deck is spacious and we enjoyed watching people and iguanas walking by.

Steps from a beautiful beach with great swimming. Amazing staff, lovely suite with an oversized balcony. Great place to unplug as wifi is sporadic.

An amazing place to stay in Isabella
I cannot recommend the Cormorant and it’s amazing stuff enough! Not only did they make our stay unforgettable, not only did they go above and beyond to allow us to refresh after a long day (even after we had checked out) but they have the best breakfast in the Galapagos!

This is a beautifully designed small hotel which fits the beach town its in perfectly. The only downside for us was that due to an internet glitch we had to take a room at the front of the building next to a rooster that started crowing at 2:30am and didnt quit at all, so we checked into a very similar hotel nearby which put us right on the beach, without any roosters for $30 a night cheaper.

Great hotel filled with great people
Cormorant Beach House was a welcoming shelter against the elements and a stark contrast to the bare infrastructure of the island. The hotel rooms are either directly facing the beach or if you’re on the second floor, it’s literally on the beach. The ocean view was absolutely gorgeous and the beach was not crowded at all. We loved going up to the rooftop terrace to enjoy breakfast. Hats off to the chef and his assistance for preparing our delicious breakfast and making us feel like we’re home. The view was also incredible. Stalin, at the front desk, is super friendly and helpful. He provided great restaurant recommendations. He also lent me his very own jacket for a few hours for dinner because mine got soaked. He offered to wash and dry my jacket and return it after dinner. I was beyond grateful for his kindness. Last, but not least, he helped us get a late checkout so that we could enjoy our hotel room and wait for the afternoon boat ride. It’s truly the people that made our stay amazing. Thank you very much!

The hotel has an amazing location right on the beach. Rooms are spotlessly maintained. A lovely breakfast is served on the rooftop (soon to be a cafe/bar). Lovely staff. All in all a fantastic stay!

Small boutique hotel right on the beach. The rooms were nice, with balcony or patio to sit on, small but comfortable bathroom. We had a beach view room and we loved it. They just opened their rooftop for breakfast and sofas to sit, with great views of the ocean and the area. Everyone was welcoming, friendly and helpful. The town is small and peaceful.

The most beautiful views we have ever had and the ocean was literally 20 feet from our deck! Kind attentive staff and a wonderful time. Wish we would've stayed longer!

Good choice on Isabela
The hotel is in an ideal location right on the beach. Service was friendly and acommodating. Rooms are basic but comfortable. The only drawback is a very noisy rooster across the street who seems to have insomnia. Though it isn't the fault of the hotel, the lack of sleep was a big negative for our time in Isabela. Suggest choosing an oceanfront room or bringing earplugs.

The hotel room has an outstanding view of the sandy beach & ocean & it was lovely to wake up to the sound of waves on the sand! Complementary Breakfast was in a cafe a few steps down the road & also very good. Isabela very quiet but charming. Staff were all super helpful and friendly. Hotel good location with lots of local wildlife to see.

Cormorant beach house
Great place to stay. Hotel opens into the beach. If your room is sea facing you can literally feel the sea breeze blow into your room at night. Rooms are very well maintained with great shower and hot water. Owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely worth staying at.

Estuvimos 5 noches alojados en la suite (nos hicieron un upgrade gratis!). La habitación es maravillosa, dormimos con el ruido de las olas a diario. El personal fue estupendo y el desayuno (en la recien estrenada azotea) increíble. Es posible pagar con tarjeta cómodamente. Muchísimas gracias por todo.

El mejor hotel de nuestro recorrido por Ecuador
Ha sido, sin duda, el mejor hotel y la mejor atención recibida durante nuestro viaje por Ecuador. El hotel está decorado con muy buen gusto y muy bien ubicado, justo en la playa, cerca de todos los bares y restaurantes. Otro gran punto a su favor es que es de los pocos hoteles donde el propietario es de Isabella. La atención de Natalie, la administradora, inmejorable. Éramos un grupo de 13 personas y recomendamos 100 por 100 el hotel. Natalie, sin duda te enviaremos amigos cuando viajen a Isabella!!!

Fantastico!
Hotel nuovo e curato. La nostra camera era direttamente sul mare con una grande vetrata per guardare il mare direttamente dal letto. Wifi buono ma lento come ogni cosa ad Isabela.
