Hotel is nice from outside and at the lobby On a dusty road with sea view but far from city restaurant It has very limited food options inside that must be booked because they have not a real kitchen Rooms are old fashioned. Our room air conditioning did not work properly and they offered an extra fan, rather than proposing to change the room in an empty hotel. Forget SPA… Not worthy even far the price, ci suffering also prices in Puerto Madryn They forgot to charge two coffees at breakfast (where they recycle the fruits of the day before…) and sent me a mail asking for payment after check out… two coffees Look for another hotel

This property is uniquely odd. We arrived at night by car after long drive and couldn't figure out where the entrance was. The grounds are unkept and access roads gravel. It seemed to be an unfinished construction project. Under the light of day the entire upscale neighborhood behind the hotel is in the same unfinished state. Of the 36 rooms I think only 3-4 were occupied. Inside hotel was nicely decorated inluding great room with superb view of the bay. Restaurant breakfast was good, evening meal not so much--go elsewhere.

We loved this hotel! It is located right across the street from an uncrowded part of the beach, and well away from the hubbub of the town's center. Although within easy walking distance of the center’s shops and restaurants, we ended up eating at the hotel itself for two of our three nights, and found the food quite good. The room was clean and comfortable with a great ocean view. The staff was also extremely accommodating and helpful. Easily the best hotel we stayed in during our entire two weeks in Argentina.

Best hotel in the region
Although located a little outside the main centre of town, an easy 30min walk gets you there, and it is well situated for excellent views of the waterfront and access to roads out of the city. The hotel is well equipped, nicely furnished, the rooms pleasantly decorated. Service is VERY good, with staff going the extra mile to be helpful. An awesome base to explore the entire region.

Great location
Staff was helpful and friendly. Calm cool solidly built, like staying in a museum. Delicious breakfast and very quiet room. Close to the EcoCenter and Welsh history museum, and across the street from the beach. Easy connection to town and to Peninsula Valdez and Punto Tombo tours.

Good hotel with a bar and very basic snack menu. Bed comfortable, rooms a good size. Shower head needs cleaning as water going off in all directions. Staff very helpful

For the price that we paid we thought we were getting a 1st class hotel but we did not. The hotel was built 13 years ago but looks like it has been abandoned! Carpets are ripped, tiles cracked, walls need to be painted. The bathroom was not cleaned well. Our glasses were rinsed out to be used again instead of being replaced. The exercise room was unkempt and equipment old. Female staff were attentive, male staff were not. We left after 2 nights even though we booked 3 nights. Would not stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to others.

This is a lovely hotel. It is beautifully furnished. It is on the outskirts of the town, about 30 minute walk along the beachfront. The breakfast was very nice, with a good selection of pastries, cakes, juice, and bread. For the most part, the staff was very nice - although the dining servers need a bit more training (no cutlery, the man at bar was unfriendly). Upstairs there is a quiet library which serves tea and cake in the afternoons. There are a couple of things the hotel needs to improve upon: 1. The treadmill in the gym needs to be fixed. It is dangerous, as the belt is not fixed properly to the treadmill. 2. Although the hours of breakfast service are very good - the eggs (the only hot item on offer) were not put onto the buffet until after 7am. Also, the media lunes were also put out quite late. 3. It would be nice to have some fresh fruit (bananas, etc) on the buffet - as there was only a fruit salad. 4. the rooms are not soundproof. On one evening, we could hear the people above us - after midnight. And at 5am were awoken by a crying child next door.

Basically the city is not very developed, so in compression to the alternative, it’s a good place. The hotel offers a lot of public areas, so you can hang around. There is only 35 rooms so it’s quite. We certainly like the service! There was a young lady under the name Marina Martinez that was doing so many things together, but like a superwoman she did everything perfectly with a big smile, so she really made a difference!

Like: Location was good only 5 minutes to many eateries. You can see whales in the bay from the breakfast room or you own room. Staff where very nice and friendly. Didn't like: The wifi doesn't work. The bedroom have an air conditioner control but the control does not work, so you're unable to control the room temperature. The shower is too small. Breakfast is very limited.

Very relaxing hotel with personal service and great views. Maybe the breakfast could have had more hot options (the eggs were very cold) but there's a great selection of other things nonetheless.

I researched hotels in Puerto Madryn before our trip and none of them came across as super special or memorable, and ended up choosing the Hotel Territorio and am so glad we did! The hotel is located a little off the main strip (5 minute drive to downtown) right in front of the beach. The hotel was built in the past 10 years and you can tell the care that was taken with the design and decoration, including many local crafts and books. The real highlight of the stay for us was Fernando, the front desk manager. He had really good advice about dining, activities and sites and presented them all in a super friendly and engaging way, going well beyond normal hotel service. The room was comfortable, clean and attractive. Breakfast was great and featured a wide range of breads, cakes, fruit, juices, yogurts, cereals, ham and cheese etc. Would recommend the hotel to others.

Lovely Hotel Territorio in Puerto Madryn
Great hotel in a glorious location. Hotel Territorio is simple but beautifully designed. It has everything you’d want without the pretension. Puerto Madryn and the Penninsula Valdes are great places to see large sea animals.

Loved our stay here! Besides being beautiful with great ocean views, the staff was exceptional helping us non-Spanish speakers. They also provided 6am breakfast for us so we could be well fed before our 6:30 excursions.

Great location for visit to Penjnsat Valdez.
Lovely hotel, situated outside the town centre but only a cheap taxi ride away. The decor was simple a bit too much concrete for my liking, polished concrete floors in most areas. The shower is tiny. Great views from all rooms across the bay and delightfull staff. The bar is nice and welcoming and does nice bar snacks with very comfortable seating areas all in the reception area very nicely configured. The only thing that lets this place down is breakfast. Everything is self service and the same scrambled eggs sit from 7:30 onwards. The rest is uninspired and empty plates are left on the tables,no staff around unless you go knocking on doors. Choose Porto Madryn airport but that’s only Andes Air a low cost airline and all that that implies.

Amazing Gem on the Puerto Madryn Coastline
Great Hotel, great for couples as well as families. Offers an amazing breakfast buffet. The view options are superb! Restaurant, Bar, Library as well as each room has a view of the coast and eventually your opportunity to watch a whale! Offers on site and included parking. We went with our 4 kids and requested connected rooms: the hotel surprised us with two corner rooms - connected through a common hallway which gave us even more room for the kids to run around. The hotel even added an extra toddler bed to our tripple single room to ensure all 4 kids could stay in one room and leave the other king option to parents. We enjoyed our stay!!

Great quiet comfortable hotel in a super location on the beach with brilliant views of the sea. Only an hour from Trelew and 90 mins. to Puerto Pyramides. Friendly, helpful service. The breakfast was very limited and wifi a bit patchy but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the view of the beach and bay was spectacular. Unfortunately, the location is relatively isolated near the south end of town. The walk to downtown where the restaurants are located is about 40 minutes; a taxi ride costs about 60 pesos.

Not a good stay. Stayed one night, with family of 4 (2 kids and 2 adults). Hotel parking is awful, even the entrance is not well marked. Layout of hotel is nice, as almost all rooms have excellent views. Room as spacious, of good quality, and of adequate size for the four of us with one King and 2 twin beds....this is one good point. However, AC never worked, and wifi only worked in lobby. Bar next door started playing music around 2am, yes, started! breakfast was underwhelming, and not of the quality expected for the price of the room. Will not return here.

This is a lovely hotel, though some way from the centre of town. We had a car, so this was not a problem for us. The views of the bay are spectacular, especially at sunrise and sunset. The staff were incredibly helpful and we had their full attention as, for two of the three night of our stay, we were their only guests, the hotel having just re-opened after the winter break.

Nice hotel but a distance out of town
The hotel is very nice but it doesn't have a restaurant. Sandwiches and salads are available at the bar. Taxis aren't readily available so to go to town for dinner the hotel has to call for a taxi and the restaurant has to call again for a return. Beautiful seating areas scattered throughout the hotel with ocean views. I enjoyed the hotel but if I go back will probably stay in town for convenience.

Hotel Territorio
This is a great little boutique hotel which has the feeling of a family run property. The service is not perfect, but the staff are extremely helpful and eager to please, which makes the stay refreshingly pleasant. It is out of town, so expect to pay between 25 -30 peso for a taxi one way. The lobby/lounge area is wonderful and provides a view over the city and the bay. While I was staying I enjoyed, sipping champagne (at a reasonable price) while watching the whales in the bay. A nice touch is the honour bar and the use of binoculars.

Great location on the bay. Nice views, pleasant spa, comfortable rooms. However, having made a reservation for dinner, my wife and I waied for 15 minutes while they prep'd a table for us. Eventually they seated us and we ordered food and wine. 10 minutes later the waitress returned and told us they were out of the seafood dish I had ordered (they only had 3 starters and 4 main courses on the menu). I made another selection and asked where our wine was. 10 minutes after that the server returned to say they were out of one of the starters too. I simply asked for bread and the wine at this point. After another 10 minutes, still nothing had appeared at our table, we got up, left and ate elsewhere. The next morning, I asked for the manager so I could register a complaint. The manager would be in later that afternoon, but I relayed my experience to the front desk where they thanked me for bringing it to their attention. They told me I would be discounted something for the poor service I received. I asked if I could be assured that we would be properly served that evening, and was told yes, but the manager would sort that out. We returned from our excursions later that day and had no communication from the manager whatsoever. My wife and I ate elsewhere that night and checked out the next morning. No discount, or more importantly, no communication or apology was received from the manager. We left, very disappointed with the lack of care and attention from both staff and management.

Good service and kind people.
We stayed in a lot of hotels in Argentinia and this was one of the best. We experienced a lot of hotels with very poor service and no English speaking people. In Territorio they were helpful and all the staff we talked to were able to answer our questions in English. Best beds we slept on (even better the our beds at home).

The Territorio hotel in Puerto Madryn exceeded our expectations. The location was great, the staff friendly and helpful, the rooms amazing...Breakfast was delicious. We event took advantage of the private jacuzzi time, upon reservation. It just made everything so special. We had a rental car and went into town for dinner so we didn't get to taste the restaurant's cuisine at dinner time. We went on day trips to Peninsula Valdez and came back to a comfortable, modern room. We booked this room without knowing how awesome it would be : we were going there in a few days and were scared that every hotel in the city would be booked, so we reserved a room after reading a few pleasant reviews. What a nice surprise!!!! I recommend it to anyone!
