If you don't mind being a tram ride away from the major tourist areas of Prague (the Old City across the river, and the Castle area), this is a nice place, It's not in a tourist neighborhood (it's a hilly high-end residential and embassy neighbor hood). It's five minutes walk to a tram line, 10 minutes to the subway, and about a half hour walk to the marvelous castle/palace with its gardens etc. (you have to like to walk cities). It is in a tucked-away neighborhood, but even when it's dark it feels super-safe. It's a medium size hotel and there is no smoking in any of the inside area (which is a rare thing for Europe).
The hotel is very clean and the staff helpful and friendly, very comfortable in English (like all hotels here probably). It's about a 400 kroner taxi ride from the airport ($20), but you have to be comfortable taking public transportation, or taking cabs all the time, or walking.
