It was a small boutique hotel a little old but clean. Walkable distance to the city center and hot springs. Parking on site. The owner was vert attentive to our request. We stayed only one night and liked it.

The staff are great and very friendly. The location is also wonderful as it is only a 10min wall from the hot springs in dona Beija and terra nostra. The hotel is nice and clean!

Great stay
Amazing view from the room, quiet and peaceful. Dinner was amazing as well. Shame that breakfast was not included in the price and was not very good.

Exmo Cliente Lamentamos que a sua experiencia não tenha correspondido totalmente a vossa expectativa , aconselhamos-lhe a ler as comodidades de um hotel antes de reservar , de facto não há frigobar no quarto no entanto a pedido e mediante um pagamento de 2 euros diária , colocamos o frigobar . Quanto á piscina não corresponde á verdade , a piscina está funcional e é impossível não a ver porque está na frente dos quartos, com certeza está a fazer confusão com outra unidade onde se hospedou. Clean hotel friendly staff only 2 working to the whole time we were there. Rooms need updating old key locks on the door room smelled funny, like old wood. Bedding was old dated. No signs for the doors. Country side so you hear every dog bark all night long and the trucks honking there horns every morning selling food on the streets! Paid little extra for mountain view when the hotel only has one side that is mountain view. Extra money for breakfast which i wasn't awear of.

This is a basic b and b but it is in a good location with great views. Breakfast was better than expected and maid service every day. No tea orcoffee making facilities in the rooms. Value for money in a pricey Furnas.

The location was good and the staff friendly. The breakfast was fine also. It was fairly quiet. The main issue we had was that the bed sheets did not fit on the bed. But, we loved Furnas and enjoyed our holiday.

4 night stay, professional couple
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in July 2015. We are a young professional couple who travel a lot. The hotel was clean, but the room was small with a comfortable bed. The swimming pool is tiny so we did not use it. We gave an overall rating of 3 mainly due to the quality of breakfast. The coffee was so weak and watery that we had to order a separate coffee from the machine behind the bar for which we got charged extra. Often you are having to wait for the buffet table to be refilled as everything gets put out in small quantities. The only hot food available is scrambled eggs. The fruit was very unimaginative, oranges sliced in 4, whole apples sliced in half. The location of the hotel is beautiful and it has a large sun terrace which is comfortable. We very much enjoyed our time in Furnas as we did a lot of walking and visited the local spa and caldeiras. It is a wonderful village but we would not choose the same hotel if we were to go to Furnas again.

good choice for a couple or family
the owner could not have been any more accommodating. even though we arrived early we were offered a complimentary breakfast. she helped us find a birding guide and gave us touring info even more so because the english speaker at the tourist bureau was on vacation.The location was quiet yet close to town. the breakfast was adequate. it was damp because of the weather so a bit moldy smelling in the lobby but not the room. a good choice.

Very nice stay in Furnas
A friend and I were exploring The Azores in Sept 2014 - we stayed in this lovely little pensione style hotel for the two days we spent exploring Furnas. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful with general information about the town, arranging a taxi tour of the nearby tea factory and even sending us on our way with a picnic basket of food as we were leaving the hotel so early on our final morning, we weren't able to have breakfast in their dining room. I found the hotel to be quite standard of all the hotels/pensiones we stayed in on four of the islands during our two weeks in The Azores - clean, well maintained (though it's another country people - if you want glass and chrome and glitz - remain wherever you already have that) and comfortable stays that are quite pleasant. I would certainly return to this hotel - very impressed with the service.

Beautiful view of Furnas
Stayed 2 nights at Vista do Vale, had a nice room with comfortable bed. The room had a great little balcony for enjoying a glass of wine and a wonderful view of Furnas. Easy walking distance to town and hot springs. The he owner was very gracious and offered advise about what to see in the area.

Considero o preço demasiado elevado para as condições apresentadas. Acrescendo o fato do pequeno almoço não estar incluído na diária paga. As condições de higiene não são boas, o meu filho que sofre de rinite alérgica, não dormiu bem pois espirrou e tossiu toda a noite. A reserva não correspondeu ao contratado, uma vez que efetuei reserva para 1 adulto e 2 crianças, e o check in apresentava apenas 2 adultos.

Awesome hotel with reasonable price
We paid under 100€ per night (including breakfast), which made us expect average hotel, but there was a huge clean room waiting for us. The landscape from the balcony was very nice. Btw the meals in hotel's restaurant are big. I liked that.

Hôtel qui pourrait être beaucoup mieux, côté service et offre. Aucun savon/shampoing dans la salle de bain. Personne à la réception à l'arrivée. Il a fallu demander à quelqu'un au restaurant pour qu'elle trouve la personne pour faire notre check-in. Une employée du restaurant n'avait clairement pas envie d'être là: aucun sourire, ne salue même pas les clients, ne répond même pas aux salutations des clients. Les lits pourraient être plus confortables et les douillettes, modernisées. Je n'ai jamais été capable de me connecter au Wifi. L'hôtel est bien situé.

Muy caro para lo que ofrecen
El hotel tiene buenas vistas pero huele a humedad. El primer día no había agua caliente por la mañana y el segundo se fue la luz. Fuímos a recepción y la chica no mostró demasiado interés en disculparse. Las camas son muy incómodas. Es muy caro para lo que ofrecen.

Vraiment pas terrible.Nous sommes arrivés, personne à la réception...nous avons fini par trouver une jeune fille qui ne trouvait pas notre réservation. On nous a donné une chambre malgré tout, avec des tâches d'humidité , de la peinture écaillée sur la table de nuit et une salle de bain vétuste et pas très propre. Pas assez de place de stationnement pour tous les clients. Les deux points positifs de la chambre étaient le lit et le balcon... A ne pas recommander

Nous avons été déçus de cet hôtel au regard des commentaires Nous avons pas eu la vue sur la vallée La chambre était très humide Douche qui fuit... Nous avons prévenu la réception qui n'a rien fait pour réparer la fuite Le petit dej se présente sous forme de buffet mais vraiment pas terrible. Il vaut mieux aller prendre le petit dejeuner en ville qui est bien meilleur et moins cher Bien pour dépanner mais pas pour y séjourner longtemps en résumé.

Séjour de plusieurs jours à l'hôtel vista do vale
L'hôtel est propre et calme. Nous avons eu une chambre au 3e étage sans voisins à côté et donnant sur la forêt. La chambre est petite mais confortable. L'hôtel est à 10 minutes de marche des bains chauds et du centre de Furnas. Le buffet petit déjeuner est très copieux avec beaucoup de choix.

Très bonne adresse dans une très belle vallée
Hôtel un peu ancien. Mais de très bon confort. Grande chambre calme. Très belle vue du balcon. Le wifi fonctionne bien. Petite piscine que nous n'avons pas utilisée, la météo ne s'y prêtant pas. Grand parking. Bon petit déjeuner et très bon accueil.

L'hôtel est bien à Furnas. Ne pas se fier à internet qui vous amène au village voisin (belle balade il faut le dire). Une fois trouvé c'est super mignon. A distance de marche du village, belle petite balade. Super propre et belle vue. Faisait froid n'avons pas pu profiter de la piscine mais, c'était tentant

Hotel con poca personalità ma con tutti i servizi
Alcuni scrivono " un po' decentrato", ma io aggiungo, per fortuna! Il paese è talmente piccolo che in 5 min a piedi ci si arriva. Da fuori è anonimo, dentro è ben organizzato. Il suo punto di forza è la veduta spettacolare che si gode dai balconcini. Camere spaziose e colazione a buffet buona, con dolce e salato. Il ragazzo della reception è super operativo ( per il loro standard! :)
