“Great hotel for shopping at the Kittery Outlets!”

Room was clean, staff was friendly and the hotel is in a great location

“cheap, thin-walled hotel, in lousy area, run by people who don't care”

I can always tell when someone is lying to me, and when I was told at check-in that all cots were spoken for (@2:30PM), I knew it probably wasn't true, and sure enough, a request to a chambermaid on the way to our room brought one within minutes. Didn't care for the manner of the people running the desk, or the location of the hotel, or the fact that we could hear noisy neighbors as if they were in our room.

“Even better than we thought”

This hotel was better than we thought it would be--it was clean, well appointed, and relatively close to the shopping in Kittery that we had come all the way to the coast for. The room was well decorated and quite comfortable, and we didn't think the hotel lacked for anything at all. Any time we asked for directions at the front desk, we were given print outs of the directions to our destinations--really helpful and nice! Would have liked it if their dining area was constructed bigger--in the morning, it was always a struggle to grab food, and there was never room to eat there. Although the surroundings weren't spectacular, we were close to the main highways and that helped alot. Would definitely come back here again.

“Great experience”

Hotel was fine. Rooms clean and well appointed. Very impressed wilth person in breakfast roo who kept everything going smoothly. She was friendlly to everyone and very accomadating. Woul go back again.

“Clean, Comfortable, Nice Hotel”

The Fairfield Inn by Marriott Portsmouth-Seacoast is a nice, clean hotel with pleasant and helpful staff. The location is very convenient - not far from the Portsmouth rotary. The breakfast, which was included, was great for us. There were plenty of breakfast choices and the coffee was good (that's important for me!)

“Would recommend it to everyone!”

As far as the value, I was pleasantly surprised. It was very clean, the rooms were nicely furnished, there was a continental breakfast that was amazing, but the thing that most impressed me were the people. Everyone was extremely friendly, professional and helpful. We had a wonderful stay.

Traveller's tip
A lot of wonderful shopping very close by - the parking garage was extremelt inexpensive, we parked for the day and then walked and walked. The downtown area is beautiful.
