Peaceful
A beautiful cottage in a quiet area, spotlessly clean with all you would need for a perfect holiday. 3 good sized bedrooms, 2 double and a single ,lounge area and kitchen. A log fire with a substantial supply of logs. I would highly recommend this cottage as it is ideally placed to visit any part of the island.

The house is quite nice and very clean. Plenty of space.
The property was difficult for us to find it sets back a bit. We ended up at a neighbors and he kindly gave us directions. We were only 2 houses away. I would highly recommend this place.

Idyllic Croft
The croft is beautiful and the surrounding area is quiet and beautiful, there is a lovely Honesty box close by for treats and fresh eggs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay the croft has all the amenities you could possibly want and Portree is a 10-15 minute drive where there is a large co-op. We will definitely be visiting again.

Charming place in a quiet area
Loved the cottage. Had all the necessities and was clean and quaint. Address would not register in GPS on car or in google maps with phone. Landmark inn the vets address a few doors by helped. Hostess was quick to respond and we had no issues with the lovely cottage.

Perfect getaway location
The location itself is great as you are on the coast within minutes of walking from there. Beds were super comfortable, all rooms were very clean, wifi connection was very good and the kitchen had all the utensils required to cook and dine as well as additionals (like sugar and tea). Communication with the owner via whatsap was remarkably easy and ai’ve already discussed coming back next year. Struggling to come up with a negative. — oh actually yes, the weather wasnt great on a couple of the days but thats not the owners fault at all :)

Great Cottage
The house is nice. It has 2 double bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs. Kitchen was well equipped. Bathroom could do with an upgrade but did the job. The shower pressure wasn’t great. WiFi was very good and the garden with the stream was lovely. The location was great and we had some nice walks from the house. Flora was very friendly and attentive. We would love to stay there again.

Beautifully prepared, comfortable and quiet
This was a very nice, secluded property situated ideally in the centre of the island to explore locally in all directions. Easy and confident communication with the owner meant check in and out was seamless. the property was in an excellent state of repair, with loads of heat when required for drying out. Well equipped kitchen gave everything needed for a relaxing stay indoors and an active stay out of doors. Thank You Flora for your pre-care.

Great comfortable cottage
Very clean, very friendly host, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. The location is accurate on the website but wrong on Google maps. There is no beach nearby. It is just dark rocks but still pretty views .

Our Trip to Skye
The croft was perfect for our long weekend in Skye. It was only 10 mins from Portree which was perfect for us. It also was in a really quiet area. We met quite a few of the neighbours who were all really nice. Only issue we had was there was no curtains or blinds in the main bedroom downstairs and the window was quite large with a lot of sunlight coming in. Flora had explained that blinds were due to arrive but were late which we believed because everything in the croft seemed brand new, as if it had just been decorated. Definitely good value for money!

Lovely cottage & thoughtfully managed
The cottage looks great, outside and in. It is nicely furnished and decorated, spotlessly clean, and has a good layout. The kitchen is well stocked, every need was provided for, even a great view from the kitchen window. The bed was very comfortable. The living room is cosy and comfortable, with 3 sofas and a wood burning stove. The wi-fi broadband was good too. Flora the owner was very quick to respond to messages and is kind, generous and thoughtful. All in all, I would highly recommend this cottage.

Bernisdale stay
The Croft house is comfortable, well equipped, and not far to Portree for provisions. Flora is a friendly host who is concerned for your every need. Nearby is the beautiful Skeabost hotel with fine dining if you wish to eat out but not drive far or have to battle for parking in Portree. Recommended is the climb to the Old Man of Storr, but only if you are fit and your knees are up for it. The drive to Eigol will take you through some remote countryside with spectacular views of the Cuillins on the return journey.

Beautiful Cottage
Loved this property the minute we walked in the door. Beautifully renovated and furnished. Lovely surprise with a welcome basket. I am travelling with my daughter and 4 grandchildren and all said this is the best place we have stayed in. Host Flora was very helpful and welcoming. I was in downstairs bedroom which was large with very comfortable bed. Would recommend a stay here

Simply amazing!
The cottage is definitely bigger than it looks in the pictures. It's very warm, cozy and well equipped. We loved the beds which were very comfortable. The location is great as it's only 10-15 minutes drive to Portree. The cottage is in a very peaceful location and the views are breathtaking. The communication with Flora, the owner, was flawless. The whole booking process was simple and straightforward. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to return one day again. Thanks, Flora!

House on west side of Isle of Skye
Overall the house was clean, had a microwave which was a plus, and the owner left us a nice care package of bread, oatmeal cakes, pancakes, and a bottle of wine- nice touch. Would be nice to have had a picnic table outside or some kind of outdoor seating...the week we were there was sunny and pleasant weather, so would have been nice to eat some of our meals outside. Wished it had a dryer- I realize this is not necessarily standard in a lot of European countries, but when you wash your clothes and can only hang them to dry outside, your clothes dry stiff especially anything denim. We also did not have the turn around time to get clothes washed and dried for our party of 6 using this system. Dryer would have helped immensely. Finally, was a bit disappointed that we could not see the beauty of Skye from our windows- when you look out the living room, master bedroom, or kitchen window, all you see are these evergreen bushes that were likely planted for privacy, but I was looking forward to seeing Skye out my windows- not shrubs. The Master bedroom pillows were quite flat and stiff- not to our comfort liking, but not a complete deal breaker either.

Cozy and EXCELLENT location for Skye explorers!
This little home was extremely cozy and relaxing. Since we were out exploring a lot of our trip, I appreciated the central location a LOT. We were able to explore West the first day, North the next, and South the 3rd day. The welcome basket was one of the biggest baskets we've received at any rental before and was great. The heating was a little hard to get just right, but with the right use of the wood burning stove, electric heaters, and heating blankets we did just fine. Unfortunately the weather didn't give us much opportunity to dry our clothes outside while we were at the home. The washer was helpful, but a dryer would have been super! So much to do and see in Skye, this home is a great choice for this!

A great place to stay and discover the beauty of Skye
We had a great visit to Skye. The Croft is very cozy and welcoming, and in a great location to explore the northern part of the island. Portree is only a 10 minute drive, so easy to access for restaurants or supplies. Flora was very welcoming and a great host, very responsive to any questions. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Staying in the land of beauty
Really enjoyed our time in Skye. This place is a little off the beaten track, but in a way that's a plus. Beautiful views out the kitchen window. The lambs next door like to come out and greet you when you go out for walks. It's a comfortable home, and a nice fire at night makes it very cozy. Only knock is the shower, it when from scalding hot to ice cold with nothing in between. However, when we reached out to the owner she was quick to respond and sent a plumber to fix it. The owner as I say was responsive and very kind. I would not hesitate to rent this place again.

Wunderschönes Cottage auf Skye
Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche in diesem Cottage verbracht. Es liegt ca 8 Meilen von Portree entfernt und ist absolut ruhig gelegen. Es hat einen hübschen Garten mit einem kleinen Teich (hier sollte man aufpassen, wenn man kleine Kinder hat). Das Cottage selbst ist innen geräumiger, als es von außen aussieht und war für uns vier groß genug. Es ist makellos sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Bad ist ganz neu renoviert. In der Küche ist alles Notwendige vorhanden, vielleicht mit Ausnahme von Teelöffeln. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war hervorragend und sehr freundlich. Bei unserer Ankunft fanden wir sogar eine Flasche Prosecco. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Wir haben es sehr genossen hier zu sein und werden auch wieder kommen. Das Haus ist super gepflegt und sauber. Die Küche ist auch sehr schön und gut ausgestattet. Die Gastgeberin ist mega freundlich und lieb. Die Lage ist auch extrem gut. Von hier kommt man eigentlich an die meisten Orte gut hin. Ich kann tatsächlich nichts negatives finden. In dem Haus gibt es E-Heizungen wenn es mal kalt ist. Wenn es aber sehr kalt draußen wird, reichen die nicht unbedingt. Aber man gewöhnt sich dran ;)

Gemütliches Croft Haus im Herzen der Isle of Skye
Das Haus hat eine super Lage, um die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Insel zu erkunden. Es ist von außen eher unauffällig, innen aber sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. An kühlen Abenden lässt man sich vom Kamin wärmen. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und gut zu erreichen.
