"I had an amazing stay here. Located in a nice quiet but scenic location. My room was great I had my own separate spacious bathroom and a double bed room next door to it. The grounds of the hotel are green and you can see woodpeckers from the window. The breakfast options were great from a cooked breakfast to fresh fruit yoghurts and cereals. I also unexpectedly received daily housekeeping. The hotel is located within reasonable driving distance to nice beaches and attractions."

"This is a lovely place to stay. We were well looked after, my gluten free dietary needs were catered for and the staff were very accommodating. The house is old so we expected that the rooms might be ‘quirky’ but we had a dangerous fault with our shower that could have resulted in serious scalding incident. We have informed the managers so they can deal with it. Dinner was 5* as you’d expect in a place with a chef of this calibre - wine and port also excellent. Pricey, but not excessive....

"The room was quaint, bathroom lovely. A nice welcome tray with biscuits and drinks. 3 flights of narrow stairs so we were glad the owner helped us with our suitcase. Would have been difficult and it’s definitely not for the handicapped. Our biggest disappointment was that no breakfast was served, especially as there’s a nice breakfast room downstairs - thought there should have been for the price. "We really enjoyed our mini-break stay in this lovely roomy well-presented and clean apartment so close to the sea front promenade and 10 minute walk from the town. There was a little noise with entry /exit of upstairs residents. Really good value for money. Thoughts for improvements: TV capable of receiving terrestrial channels and the bedroom would benefit from a better more comfortable mattress. Highly recommended and we would be happy to stay again."
