Lovely property on hillside with friendly host, Trish. She gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. Our bedroom has our own outdoor spa bath gave us very relaxing bathing.

Best bed and breakfast place ever!!!!
Truly one of the best bed and breakfast inns we've ever stayed at. Trish & Ian are amazing hosts who goes above and beyond to make our stay superb. The place was so cosy and beautiful and the amenities were so thoughtful (there was even a tin of biscuits in the room to go with the complimentary tea!!!), it was like staying at a 5 star hotel but with the kindest and friendliest hosts who would greet you in the morning to give you travel tips and make fresh homemade bread for breakfast for you, with 25 jams to choose from. It was just amazing. And the tub! Best tub ever with radio and lights and fluffy bathrobes to change into after! There were just so many things that we really appreciated, like the free parking and free wifi, Trish helping us to plan our day out, the space having just 3 rooms so that we didn't have to be with lots of other tourists or noisy children, and being able to do a load of laundry, complimentary. We were so sad to leave and we can't wait to come back again!

Peaceful couples retreat close to town
We had a lovely time. The room was clean and tidy, breakfast was plentiful, the hosts (Ian and Trish) were very welcoming and helping to give recommendations to make the most of our stay. The Spa and spa area were very clean and pleasant. We'll definitely be going back!! Thank you!!

Bed and breakfast without the breakfast
The owners and room were lovely. The spa was well worth it. Unfortunately we had organised with the owners that we needed breakfast by 7.30 as we needed to leave at 8. We woke up and were out ready for our breakfast at 7.30 as organised the night before and we waited for 30 minutes and no one showed up so we left. We didn’t receive an apology or a refund for the breakfast we didn’t get. Really dissapointing as it was a nice place and the owners seemed really nice.

Nelson bay stopover
Absolutely fantastic stay here. Hosts could not be more welcoming and informative. Helped us make the most of our stay. The room is beautiful with an outside but covered jacuzzi 2 person bath. We made full use of this. Inside is a large tv with cable channels as well. DVD player and films provided. Bathroom has everything you need. Towels lovely and soft. Bed is soft and luxurious. Good air conditioning and ceiling fan to get an ideal temperature. Ideally located with a couple of minutes walk into town and the harbour. We were able to walk along the jetty to see an incredible sunset. In the morning the breakfast was delicious with home made breads for toast and 20 types of jam and marmalade. Luxury muesli and I also had the fresh fruit salad and yogurt which is the best I’ve ever had. But it’s the hosts that make this place fantastic. We were guided to everything we wanted to see and take some fantastic pictures that will last a lifetime.

Great B & B in Nelson Bay
We were only here for one night but wish we could have stayed longer! Trish and Iain have thought of everything to make guests comfortable- and the breakfast was excellent. Also, Trish gave us valuable tourist information about the area and recommended some drives and walks which were worth doing for the spectacular views. Would definitely go back and recommend to others to stay there.

We had a great stay at this B&B. The room was clean and very nice and comfortable. The location was very convenient and just next to town. The hosts were very friendly and full of advice and suggestions. The highlight of the stay was the breakfast, fresh baked bread in the morning with delicious spreads, and the personal spa jacuzzi under the stars!

Our room was really nice and super clean. It had a private balcony with a spa which was very relaxing!! Breakfast was also very good with a choice of cereals, fruit salad and home made breads. Trish was super nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend and I would stay there again if I come back to nelson bay :)

Lovely area to expolore.
Clean and comfortable bed and breakfast. Room is a little small but very well-equipped. Nice to have a small sitting area out on the deck by the Jacuzzi. Owners very welcoming and very informative about the area. Good continental breakfast. Driveway a bit steep to park the car and steep path and stairs to accommodation.

It was a nice stay. Hotel was impeccably clean. However, the parking was very difficult. During the rainy season you got to be more careful. most of the time they do not answer the phone. Overall, it was a great experinece.

Nelson Bay B&B is a friendly beautifully presented place to stay. Every facility one needs is there in a convenient location not far from shops. The owners go out of their way to make your stay friendly and comfortable. The rooms are tastefully decorated, the beds very comfortable and the spa is an added luxury.

Arrived at 11:30 am. No staff were on site. Couldn't contact anyone - Expedia couldn't either. Expedia changed my accomodation. Also, the parking is inadequate unless you have a 4WD, you cannot park onsite.

I am sorry that your experience was not up to your standards. Normally when a guest wishes to checkin over 2 hours+ before standard checkin they would ring. On the day you arrived early I had to get your room changeover and then go to the shops to get supplies for our guests. I don't understand why neither yourself or Expedia rang my mobile phone which is displayed in 3 different locations on our site. Our driveway is one subject that most of our guest talk about.Nelson Bay is very hilly, and we are located on one of these hills. 99% of our guest manage to use the driveway, which is like driving up a ramp in shopping centre. For these guests who would rather park somewhere else, we have had an area on our property Asphalt on the road next to driveway. I hope your stay in the bay was enjoyable, and am sorry that you had a bad experience with our property.

We had an amazing stay. The service was amazing and accomodation was very cosy. We enjoyed the homemade breads on offer, very delish. Local area was less than 10 mins walk and enjoyed the many deals advised by the accomodation manager Trish who is very knowledgeable in what the bay has to offer. We will be back in 2018

Awesome place to stay for a couples!
Nelson Bay Bed and Breakfast was an amazing place the stay. The owners are such nice people and help you out with anything you need! I would highly recommend to stay here if you are a couple looking to have a great relaxed getaway from the city life!

Rainy Weekend
It was a very rainy weekend so I don't think we got the best of the B&B. The drive way is steep and the walk to the house is steep in the rain. The owners are lovely and gave good suggestions about what to see and do.

We have just come back from a fantastic weekend away in Nelson Bay. From the moment we got to the B&B Trish and Iain made us feel incredibly welcome. Trish recommended restaurants to go to and local attractions to see. Her knowledge of the area was great and extremely helpful. We had the Tomaree room which included a spa. We absolutely loved it! Clean, modern and had everything we needed including a fridge. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. Iain makes homemade bread which is to die for. Throughout our stay we felt at home and well looked after. Trish and Iain were very accommodating and nothing was too much to ask. We can't rate this place highly enough and are looking forward to staying here again.
