We loved our stay at the Caledonian Inn. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet - had all that we needed. Off street parking. Walking distance to shops and restaurants - but the food at the Caledonian Inn itself was fabulous. We recommend the pub and the accommodation - and will definitely visit again!

We had a relaxing weekend away here, from the moment we went to check in, the staff were fantastic, very welcoming. The room we stayed in was sparkling clean and had a beautiful bathroom. The location was lovely and we would definitely stay again.

My room was recently renovated and was clean and bright. The Inn was full of history and the owner was friendly and full of local information.

Very small room for the family of 2A and 2C, hardly any space to move around. Only good if you want to sleep and spend the day out. Microwave oven a very basic necessity isn't provided. Wifi wasn't working, we had to use Google Tv from phone hotspot to keep kids entertained. Before booking and post booking called them a few times and left voice and text msg but no response.

Friendly Comfortable little place
A cozy little inn within 10 steps of town. Comfortable bed, spacious room. Nice new deck to soak up the sun in the afternoon and a popular spot for locals and travellers.

Nice country motel. Very friendly staff, we arrived abit later in the evening when the pub was packed and going off. The staff member took the time to walk us to our room and explained everything. Room was decent and bed sheets were nice and clean. TV wasn’t working but it might have just been the remote batteries, we weren’t too fussed. Can’t beat it for the price!

I arrived to find the place closed and abandoned. I was lucky to find another accommodation because there was a festival on. Had been closed for weeks. Very disappointed Wotif still booked me there and gave me no advice.

Has massive potential but sadly lacks a good cleaner. The Bed was great but the other menities were not up to standard. dirty, not working very well. No milk to even make a coffee in the room. found a left over hale eatrn roll behind the fridge that I had to move to use the power points.

Location good. No suitable chairs for arthritic sufferer. No safety mat in shower. Shower head needs replacing. Rusted. Bed very good. No after hours service for broken kettle, hence no hot drinks. Hotel meal fabulous.

The location was obviously older. There was a TV but it only played audio. The refrigerator was very tiny and the freezer didn't work. The towels were very thin. The coffee pot was molded. The bed was clean and comfortable, although it's on casters so it moves a lot. Parking was very tight.

Great spot and the pub is awesome. The bed was squeaky and the mattress needs to be replaced, uneven - like sleeping in a hole

Room #1 was clean and the bed was comfortable and the water was hot. I’d describe it as spartan however. No chair in the room. When we asked to take a couple of chairs from the beer garden the girl said “you can only take the plastic ones” The wooden ones must be too good for guests staying overnight. The wifi was non existent so I just used my mobile signal instead. There was a massive rubbish container right outside our room and the area was messy. A cleanup is definitely required. The place has potential but needs better management.

Great place to stop after a long drive with bar and restaurant onsite and spacious comfy rooms. The building had its charm. Pleasant staff.

The age and rustic style were exactly what I was expecting. Loved the food and the very friendly staff and service. wasn't so pleased about the backyard, untidy, our room was facing a very dirty junk and rubbish area. Would stay again.

Great Restaurant
The Caledonian is a bar and restaurant ("The Stump") with a row of rooms located behind the main building. It was quiet. The room was quite basic, but clean and functional. The restaurant was amazing - great food and value for money. Port Fairy is well worth a visit.
