Just for clarity the property was fully decorated internally and externally in 2022, the paint colour is “natural Calico” which is supposed to be “shabby chic” which I appreciate isn’t to everyone’s taste! Re the bed, unfortunately can’t accommodate for everyone and knowing that the mattress is new I can’t really comment as everyone has their own preference! All the best Andy

Thanks for your review, and taken on board some of the comments, yet will give a balance to others noted. Heating - This was personally discussed with you as the battery had run out on the thermostat, so the house hadn't been warm for a week. This was resolved on the day and the heating was all sorted out, even with an additional visit to double check later on. IMO this was just a nit picking point made with no substance behind it! Pillows - once discussed, these were replaced and noted by the cleaning company - there are now pillow protectors on all pillows moving forwards. Kitchen Installed - 2 dates as was done in 2 phases - dining room and kitchen flooring initially and then kitchen units, worktops and boiler Bathroom - 2017 for clarity Decorations - The colour is 'Natural Calico' - this is based on being a "shabby yet warm" colour. Im not one for having everything stark white, and judging by 95% plus of the people that stay and consistently return they're also of a similar mind that everything is fine. The property is generally painted every 2 years or so, which is more than adequate. There will be rooms that are done throughout 2022. Rental income - A strange comment to make, but will address it - points noted above on bathroom and kitchen, 2018 - carpets and all furniture, 2019 - front drive replaced, 2020/21 - Covid struggles. The upgrades to the property will continue, and will be enjoyed by the guests who return year after year (some of whom have been returning over 10+ years and have noted on past comments about upgrades. May I suggest that you actually take a more measured approach with your future reviews, and whilst digging around for dates and so forth, coming up with your own conclusions, that you actually make contact with owners to gain the facts. I spoke to you about the heating and the pillows, so was only a phone call away........ It may then make more sense to you Kind regards Andy

HI Diane, Sorry to hear that you think the property needs a refurb. Its actually painted at least once every 2 years. The Kitchen was fitted out in 2018, the bathroom the year before. All carpets and furniture replaced in 2018 (its actually a driftwood design to go with the seaside location) In relation to the travel cot. Theres room in the 2nd bedroom as we have two kids and used it for both of them in that space with no issues. You're the first person to have ever commented like this, so I take it on board, but in reference to the refurb side of things I believe this is not justified.
