“This hotel was meeting our expectations.”

We wanted a hotel near the shopping centers, a hotel with a swimming pool (inside), a hotel with internet access included and also continental breakfast included and with Days Inn hotel, we had everything at a good price for us.

“good value for the price”

A standard hotel with good amenities, nearby to restaurants and shopping. The price was right and everything in the hotel is very clean. Only complaint is that the walls could be more soundproof. You can hear noise from neighbouring rooms.

“Always chose Days InnEvrthing was just fine. Dest staff”

Everything was just fine. Front desk very helpful to arrange handicapped accomidation. Breakfast items complete Missed entrance to the motel, ended up going down super hi-way to next exit to return to city. Check you signagefor entrance.

“Clean, quiet, and perfect for that quick stop-over”

This Days Inn has a number of positives going for it: it's clean, well-priced, is right on the interstate (perfect for that late-night road trip stopover), and quiet. In other words, it's the ideal place to crash worry-free before another day on the road. Unfortunately there's not much to do or places to eat at around the hotel, so don't go there expecting to have a lively night on the town. That said, I knew what I was getting, and I'd definitely stay again.

“Pretty much average”

Nothing spectacular; just an average hotel. We have stayed there before, and the only complaint we had was that the weight machines in the gym were out of order during our stay. Apart from that, nothing special.

“Decent Stay”

There should be no illusions about what you are getting when you book this hotel. It is somewhat aged and sure the rooms aren`t the most modern, but it is clean and ideal for a short stay. If you want a fancy room for a holiday, then pay extra. If you need a comfortable room to sleep in then this is a good bet.

“Not the Best, but could be much, much worse”

The Days Inn Plattsburgh is the sort of hotel you book online thinking it is better than it actually is. The staff at the hotel, while reasonably helpful and accommodating, cannot compensate for the shoddy construction of the hotel and its rooms, or the various dubious characters that gather around the place. The rooms featured you usual low to mid-grade quality furnishings, but among other problems, the sink was outside the bathroom (leaving a cramped cupboard containing a toilet and bathtub) and the TV would have been of reasonable age and picture quality in 2000. Also in a touch of inefficiency, the elevators are clear across the hotel from the main entrance, so your better bet is to take the stairs unless your room is actually on the other side of the hotel. To be fair, the hotel is only 3 floors, but this is still a design oversight. The breakfast was passable, your usual selection (and at least it was free), though no meat at all- no sausage or bacon (obviously not a terrible thing, but worth pointing out). Overall, the hotel was not as good as it could have been, and I would not recommend it, but one could stay at a much worse hotel and pay the same or even more.
