The strand consists of a curved and sheltered cove. Walk along the enchanting Passerella di Pizzo pier that curves out into the bay. At the top of the rock formation stands the impressive Murat Castle, which was constructed in the 1400s. Take a tour of this Aragonese structure to learn about Napoleon’s brother-in-law, who was executed here by firing squad for treason.
