Upon our arrival, we were barely greeted by the people behind the desk. They were not especially helpful. Our room was decent. Very old and outdated, but clean. However, when we returned late at night, the neighborhood did not feel safe. I would never stay here with my children. Then, when we went up to our room and used the toilet, an ear splitting sound occurred when we flushed. It wouldn’t stop for about 10 minutes and sounded like a jackhammer. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and came upstairs to take a look, but by then it had stopped. He told us that that sometimes happens and if it did it again, we’d need to reach inside to unstick something - a task we didn’t feel at all comfortable doing. Luckily neither of us used the toilet again because we checked out early the next morning. The only upside of staying at this place is its proximity to the train station.
