This was my first room rental experience without a hotel host present. Once I understood the arrival process and was texted a door entry code to my room, everything was fine. The room seemed like it was newly painted and furnished. There were some people wondering around confused about checking in, so maybe the process should be better explained beforehand. I would definitely go back there again. The price was very reasonable, and the apartment was in excellent condition.

I would not stay at this place or recommend anyone to stay at this place. Small damages on walls, doors, and cabinets. Shower tub kept filling up with water. And there were bed bugs!

They didn’t honor their cancellation policy! Expedia didn’t help and that was that - no way to contact the management. Will never go again and warn friends to stay away. The air conditioner whined loudly, the tv had flickering connection, the kitchen had one pot, the hall had a funky smell.

Easy check in process. Comfortable room. Nice kitchen and living room. No fan in bathroom and theres no way to get fresh air. The only problem was the tub facet was not working for a taking a bath but shower only. I rented the room for a tub but didnt get to have a bath.

This is a good value for its location in Scottsdale. It’s a bit dated, but still has decent furnishings. But having a half court outdoor basketball court right outside our sleeping area was not good one evening when a certain resident(s) decided they wanted to shoot hoops at midnight.

The property reeked of a perfume deodorizer. It was so strong you could taste it! I saw cockroaches in the hall and found mold in my bathroom. Doors to the front of the property lock early and no one to help. Plus, they allow homeless people to sleep in their cars in their parking lot. I would have checked out and left but my son’s college group was staying on property. I wouldn’t feel safe leaving my young adults alone in this “hotel”.

The property is showing major wear and tear. The trash cans outside the door are stuffed to over-flow everyday, but the staff does remove it once a day. They should be removing trash more often to prevent overload. Our room was clean, but there were some big issues. First, we were not left any pots or pans. There was nobody at the front desk after 5PM, and we checked in after that. It wasn't until the next day that we were able to get some pots and pans given to us. Even then, we weren't given a skillet. There was a single wide spatula for all cooking, just one. We had four mismatched forks, and one was rusted. Second, no trash bags for a week long stay. We emptied our trash, and had to have a bag delivered. Why not just add a couple to the bottom of the trash can for just such a purpose? Third, one remote for two TVs. I had to have a second one delivered. Fourth, the bathroom door was rotted out at the bottom and was so swollen, it would not shut. Fifth, no light over the stove, no filter for the fan which only recycled air, and did not move cooking fumes or smoke outside, but inside instead. Without a filter to hopefully filter out some smoke or fumes, it did nothing. Sixth, only one dishwasher detergent package for a week long stay. Bottom line, we had a great stay, but it required a lot more effort on our part than should have been necessary. The staff was helpful, and they took care of the issues, but there were a lot of issues.

Interior of unit was a bit run down. However, we were renting it not buying it. And it perfect for our needs. My son enjoyed the basketball hoop. The kitchenette could have had a few more options available such as skillet and cooking utensils.

This property stunk! The lobby, the bedrooms! We had 5 rooms, and all 5 smelled horrible! There was food found in one of the microwaves. There was food under the countertop in a different room. There was hair all over the wall in the bathroom in a 3rd room. When we got home and unpacked, all of our clothes wreaked of smoke and we weren't around smoke at all over the weekend.

Given the area of Scottsdale, Az my expectations of this property was higher than most, however upon arrival is was quickly noticed that this property served those less fortunate for long term. While I am sure this is ideal the property should really try to maintain the property condition both inside and out to appeal to those who are utilizing this property as a place to stay for shorter periods of time. The communication between the front desk and cleaning personnel lacked and I was unexpectedly concerned when my unit was entered into due to not being reported I was already inside the unit. The cleaning personnel questioned me as if I was not clear I was in the correct unit. Front desk staff was not present during night hours and while that was known in advance I think their presence should be reevaluated for the property.

I would not stay here again. There were roaches in the bathroom. We requested to change our rooms. The second room had plumbing issues, damaged furniture and door and several cosmetic issues. The hallway smelled of farts. It’s challenging getting in contact with management unlike traditional hotels.

The entry door is supposed to be a fire door. We could see daylight through the doorjamb. The bathroom door wouldn't latch and wouldn't stay closed. The handle fell off. The room has good space with a living room, kitchen and 2 beds. The bathroom is a kind of old. Suggest to put a anti-slippery mat in the bathtub because it was slippery during the shower. My 11 yrs old boy and I almost fell and I got the bruise on one of my leg.

This is a unique accommodation. Our apartment was very clean and updated, although the halls/building was older. There was a tv in both the living room and bedroom, with cable and many channels. We had a problem with the refrigerator and someone was there to fix it within 20 minutes. Housekeeping was very responsive as well. Contactless check-in went smooth. It said we would not have access to the pool or fitness center, but we did.(Our code worked though we didn't have time to use either) It took a bit to get use to the text message communication, but a phone number was also available and response was quick in both ways. It is reasonably priced for the area and the size of the unit. Lower rates are available through other venders--we booked ours through Expedia, even though the website advertises lowest rates are through their website. We were able to add a day at a time as we had a medical situation that was a one day at a time. It is not a fancy resort, but comfortable, affordable and in a great location near downtown Scottsdale. We were both surprised at how very quiet it was as well!
