Very good for the price

Posted 20-Feb-2015
Pros: Central, quiet
Cons: Some air conditioning in the hallways. It felt really like walking into a sauna when leaving the rooms
Rooms are very small here, but you are not paying a premium for extra space. Bed was comfy, air conditioning worked well which was important for Perth in summer. Room service was prompt and the food a decent quality. Bathroom facilities good, although no shower cap supplied - lucky I brought my own. Room didn't have a spot for putting your open suitcase. Given the small room it is not altogether surprising, but I have stayed at hotels that have provided portable fold-out units that could be used if needed, and they should consider providing these.

Nice and clean hotel

Posted 19-Feb-2015
Arrived Friday night when "the giants" were in perth, went to the hotel car park and was told I had no reservation for that night and I needed to park in the street and go to reception which I was angry about but decided to try and park..... There was no parking due to it being closed for the night We were upgraded to a queen room and given a car park ticket to a Wilson car park ( which was a 100m walk back to the hotel with our bags In the morning we checked out and was told we had a fee of $28 for our car park spot which was never mentioned when we were checking in Overall a nice clean comfy room but we did leave unhappy from our experience there

nice hotel, central location

Posted 18-Feb-2015
Location: It was perfectly located to see the Giants and other Fringe Festival events as well as accessing the city and river.
We found our room small but very clean and well furnished. Staff were friendly and helpful and the location was perfect for the kind of things we wanted to do. We would stay again.

Decent hotel if you are on a budget

Posted 18-Feb-2015
Staff polite Rooms are small, maximised small spaces - queen bed leaves 30cm either side of walls. - Desk enough for 1 person - Narrow corridor, can't walk past if you open the fridge door - Good hot water - Decent toilet and large basin - Shampoo, conditioner, soap replaced daily -main complaint is airconditioning faces the bed and guests can only switch on or off and adjust temperature. Climate control needs servicing as it was either blasting cold air or automatically turned off throughout the night. Secure underground parking but limited to 6 small cars and 4 large cars so book in advance. Bed was comfortable. third floor was fine. Room service adequate. They provide approx 90cm x 60cm large heavy wooden meal trays to prevent spillage so u can safely eat on the bed! One queen room can only fit about 4 luggages Walls a bit thin can hear noisy guests in corridor and can hear neighbours shower pipes Convenient location and friendly staff. Would recommend if you are on a budget

Good value in central Perth for single traveller

Posted 13-Feb-2015
Pros: Location in heart of Perth.Good value meals,Friendly staff.
Cons: They need a ramp access for the main entrance.
Arrived after a long rail trip from Kalgoorlie.Front of house staff friendly and efficient.Put bags in room and went into bar/restaurant and had a lovely COLD beer and a well made Nasi Goreng for a good value lunch. All was now right in the world. The room itself was tiny.If you are into swinging cats this not the place for you. However the bed was more than comfortable I had a beautiful sleep!

Good for overnight

Posted 08-Feb-2015
Location is good, on the outskirts of Perth's main shopping area. Staff were efficient. Room was small but adequate for an overnight stay for 2 people. Basic facilities and bathroom, reasonably clean. Quiet, but window view looked out into back of adjacent buildings. Value for money without delivering anything extra.

Close to everything in the city

For the low cost, the room exceeded my expectations. It was a little small but I did not need anything large. Hotel staff were amazing the whole weekend.

Over nite stay only

Posted 30-Jan-2015
Pros: Location
Cons: The Showertaps to be marked correctly ie Hot Tap shld be left side and Cold Tap should be Right side. Not the other way around.
Location: Restaurants and bars
The Hotel was nice, however, upon checkin I was asked to leave a 'holding' deposit bond of $100 on my credit card for which I was told would be returned to my Credit card account the next day. It is now day 5 after my stay and I am still awaiting my $100 Bond payment to be reimbursed and am now being told that it can take up to 10 working days for this to happen.NOT HAPPY. Also the hot tap in the shower was actually the cold tap, would have been nice if they had marked the taps correctly as they had done for the vanitay taps. Would have saved a COLD shower to be had??
