Close to CBD and rail. Secure.

Pros: CBD location. Reasonable value.
Cons: Ditch the service charge.
King bed comfy but little room left to put luggage. Clean and tidy. Birthday note and treats a nice touch from Management. On check out the bill stated a minor but irritating $2 'service charge' - still not sure what service I received that actually incurred the charge.

Close to good restaurants

Posted 25-Aug-2014
Pros: Location Clean, comfortable room
Cons: Air conditioning was too cold (even when I put 30 degrees Celsius).
Location: Indian,Turkish,Malaysian restaurant, and a very nice and famous pastry shop.Shopping a block away.Korea grocery shop, second hand shop (I got my book)
I am very pleased with my stay. Stayed for 7 nights, my room was upgraded FOC from standard to premium due to the long stay. The room was clean, the bed was very comfy, I had a very good nights sleep! My room was on the highest floor (701), and I didn't hear any loud noise from the bar on ground floor. My aunt stayed at 601, and she was disturbed by the loud noises (from the streets and the bar), but that was because she kept the window open 24/7. My room was next to the elevator, but I didn't hear the noises from the elevator as what I was informed via comments in this site. Maybe the elevators were upgraded now. And I love my room just next to elevator (no need to walk far :) ) The air conditioning in the room makes your skin very dry, so you've got to put your lotion often. But that was no problem for me. The location of the hotel which is very near to Indian, Turkish, Malaysian restaurant, and a very nice pastry shop is what I love the most. Because I went with my uncle and aunt who have difficulty walking long period of time, so location is important. And easy food! Besides, the walk to shopping areas on Murray Street is only a block away! The street near the hotel was not at all dead (like most streets in Perth during night time). The street lights were sufficient, I'm not afraid to walk alone even at night.

Pensione Hotel

Posted 26-Jun-2014
Pros: shower and staff
Cons: more information about car park facilities and booking
Location: very close to lots of bars and restuarants and very well lit up
Please note these rooms are very small but you get what you pay for. It was very clean and modern with great staff. Great for people who just want to sleep and shower and go out during the rest of the time. I must say the shower I had was the best of any hotel ever with plenty of hot water. Also if driving you need to book car parking as well.

Comfortable hotel clost to cafés, restaurants

Posted 21-Jun-2014
Pros: The bed, staff and location
Cons: Perhaps think about a communal area to have a few drinks in the evening with friends as the rooms are very small. Rooms need a place to sit and relax
Location: Close to all Perths cafés, excellent transport, and sightseeing
Great place to base yourself to explore all that Perth has to offer. Comfortable rooms, friendly helpful staff

Affordable hotel in a Strategic location

The location is good. Close to the malls and within walking distance to the train station. However, the room is very small. It is comparable to the ones I stayed in japan. You may not find space to open your luggage.

Get what you pay for

Rooms are small! Just a place to sleep and shower. Fine if you're planning to be out all day. Rooms are serviced everyday and staff are friendly. What it lacks in amenities it makes up in location and hospitality.

Clean, comfortable, close to CBD

Room was clean and tidy, modern appointments including air conditioning. Easy to get to at top end of CBD, staff very friendly and very helpful. Value for money, we would happily stay here next time in Perth.
