“the best hotel in the best location”

Cannot fault this hotel at any level. A true 3 star (AA) with outstanding service and attention to detail that similar or higher grade hotels do not match. Wonderful location, a bit of getting to but well worth it. A particuarly special part of Scotland, and with many many areas of outstanding of natural beauty that is saying something!

“Even requested a wedding pack!”

Great hotel, superb food and brilliant staff. Good facilities too but quite simply there is one thing you will struggle to beat with any other hotel- the location. This hotel is the ideal getaway as it is in the perfect beauty spot and peace and tranquillity come as standard. The food is stunning and very reasonably priced- if you pay the dinner, bed and breakfast rate then you wont be disappointed. The staff were all very friendly and super helpful. For a Christmas break this was a home away from home- as the title of this review suggests, we may well be back for more than just a short break. If you are thinking about it- BOOK IT!

“Will be back”

Been to a few macdonald hotels but never encountered such friendly staff as the staff at Loch Rannoch. The room was spacious and very comfortable for a standard room with beautiful views overlooking the loch. The pool,sauna and steam room were a relaxing treat after a cycle around Loch Rannoch. The food and service was fab!
