I booked the Hotel Baladins based on price and it's location next to the train station. As I expected, the hotel has seen better days having been replaced by newer, more modern hotels. My room seemed a bit shabby with stuff marks and the bath layout was a bit odd with the toilet tucked into a corner between the shower and sink so that you had to squeeze to get to it. Not curtain for the shower which wasn't a problem, but a bit unexpected. Like many hotels they seem to have gone from soap bars and shampoo packets to wall mounted dispensers, only nobody seems to take the effort to fill them, both at the sink and in the shower were empty.
The hotel did have free wifi when it was working, it would drop the signal and operated at a slow speed. Noise from other rooms was a major problem.
